iPhone 12 Pro Max vs iPhone 12 vs Mate 40 Pro vs Mi 10 Ultra vs Note 20 Ultra Charging Speed Test

The iPhone 12 Pro max is finally here and sports slightly faster charging at 20 watts, though it does have a slightly smaller battery than its predecessor. It comes paired with a 3687 William battery very strange. This is noted from a recent teardown of the phone and the iPhone 12 comes paired with the same wattage block over here, and it comes with a much smaller battery at 2 815 Williams, the Huawei Mate 40 pro comes paired with 66 watt charging and a much bigger 4 400 William hour cell, the m10 ultra slightly bigger battery with 4500 and the fastest 120 watt charging, and the note 20 ultra comes paired with 25 watt charging and the same size battery as the mi 10 ultra. How do two of the best iPhone 12s go up against three of the best android flagships around? This is tech neck and without further ado, let's find out before we get going with the test. We're gonna check out the temperatures over here. We will be checking the attempts within each time interval which you'll see at the top right-hand corner in a second plugging them all on charge and kick starting that time over there we do have the battery percentage below the branding of each phone and above the actual phone itself in relation to the time.

Interval at the top right hand, corner also making sure that all phones are set to airplane mode, so they trickle a little less battery life than we usually have and make sure that all optimizations are indeed off when it comes to battery charging. Since this is a speed test. After all, after the first six-minute interval, we have 10 on the 12 pro max matching the note 20 ultra over here. One percent ahead of that is the iPhone 12. Although a much smaller battery eleven percent over here, twenty percent only made forty pro and twenty-nine percent on the mean ten ultra, which is impressive, to say the least, making sure that all the optimized battery charging settings are off on all devices over here and reaching that 10 minute interval 70 on the 12 pro max, which is now one percent below the note 20 ultra, which does indeed have a bigger battery, but a slightly better, faster charger in the box and does indeed come in the box, and thanks for that Samsung, and we're reaching that 16 minute interval 26 on the 12 pro max, as opposed to 28.

In the note 20 ultra 31 5, more than 12 pro max is the iPhone 12 50 percent on the mate 40 and 71 percent. Now on the maintain ultra after just 60 minutes, though, it is the hottest in the interval and the hottest peak temps of the year with the 12 pro max being the coolest. After the 20-minute mark interval, we have 34 on the 12 pro max 2 behind the note 20 ultra over there 41 on the iPhone 12. Now, gaining quite quickly 61 on the mate 40 pro and 85, a whopping 85. Now a whopping 93 on the imi10 ultra after just 25 minutes over here with the 12 pro max, is almost the same as the note 20 ultra just a percentage between them 50 on the iPhone 12.

Already after 25 minutes is pretty impressive. I must say for an iPhone 51 on the 12 pro max after 30 minutes over 58 on the iPhone 12, which is doing a great job passing the note 20 ultra by quite a margin over here. The iPhone 12 Pro max is matching the note 20 ultra and after just 31 minutes, the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra calls it quit charges up its phone in just 31 minutes, which is impressive, though not its intended advertise time, which is indeed 23 minutes. After 35 minutes, we have 60 on the 12 pro max, which is now pulling ahead of the note 20 ultra on 59 66 on the iPhone 12, which is great 90 on the mate 40 pro doing a bang-up job here with just 35 minutes, and we're reaching that 45-minute interval we're going to jump up to that. One Nisha has done a great job in just 31 minutes, but how long does it take the Huawei to catch up after 45 minutes? We have 73 percent on the 12 pro max 30 percent, ahead of the 920 ultra over here at 72 percent 77, which is five percent ahead of the no 20 outro.

Is the tiny battery iPhones well 98 on the mate 40 pro now hitting 100 after just 49 minutes, which is a lot quicker than my previous test, which almost peaked out at an hour. This did a great job and pretty close to its advertised time, which is around 45 minutes. After 51 minutes we have 79 on the iPhone 12 Pro max now matching the note 20 ultra, which is now catching up. It is still the coolest when it comes to peak, and the hottest peak was indeed the meat 10. Ultra though close to that was indeed the major 40 pro reaching that hour mark now we have 84 on the iPhone 12 Pro max four percent ahead of that is the iPhone 12 with 88 89, on the note 20 ultra now so passing the iPhone 12, though it is getting a little hotter this time around, since it's charging slightly quicker compared to the iPhones, we're reaching the hour 10 minute mark over here, and we're going to speed things through until the next phone jumps ahead, which is indeed the note 20 ultra at the bottom of the screen.

It has an always on display, even if you disable this option, and it did show a hundred percent after an hour and 14 minutes, not an hour and 15 minutes, as you see on the time of year, so it got an hour and 14 minutes and its end. Temp was indeed a lot cooler than the mate 40 pro and the main 10 ultra over here, but its William per minute reading is a lot worse than the mate 40 pro and a hell of a lot worse than the 10. Ultra, the mate 40 pro store did a great job and having charging at 66 watt might prolong your battery life over time compared to the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra. But that's just my take after an hour and 30 minutes, 97 on the 12 pro max 98 on the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 was streaks ahead earlier on and now the 12 pro max is catching up, because iPhones tend to slow charging down after 80, even with battery optimizations off, and we are reaching the iPhone, 12 or 12 pro max, which one is going to take it after an hour and 40 minutes. They are both at 99.

Can you believe, they're matching when the iPhone 12 was really pulling ahead earlier on in the test and reaching the one hour and 42 minute mark the iPhone 12 says: hey I'm fully charged thanks for that technic, and it honestly didn't do a terrible job, not the fastest, that I've done on the channel actually started with an hour and 37 minutes and 9 hours and 42 minutes? So it is getting slower to charge as time goes by the iPhone 12 Pro max calls it out at an hour and 49 minutes, just seven minutes slower than its little brother, the iPhone 12, but it does have a noticeably larger battery over here. It is interesting to note here that the 12 pro max in its first 50 got 64 William hours per minute reading over here, as opposed to the 34 William hour per minute. Reading for the full 100 charge, the first 80 percent dropped to 58 and the last 20 percent 12.7, no, not quite as bad as the iPhone 12s lost 20 at 10.6 William hours fifth place over here. The iPhone 12 Pro max a really, really big device.20 watt charging a smaller battery than his predecessor 3687, but just shy of two hours, not terrible in terms of charge. Speed its little brother.

The iPhone 12 did seven minutes faster than it, but a much smaller battery at 2815 and the same wattage charging. The note 20 ultra an hour and 14 minutes are pretty standard for this 25 watt charging 4 500 William hour battery, now we're getting to the fast boys over here. The mate 40 pro with 49 minutes. Super quick, 66 watt fast charging, 4, 400 William battery and the crown king for 2020 is still thus far is indeed the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra with a whopping 31 minutes. It sends to hover around the 30-minute mark 120 watt charging same 4, 500 William hour cell.

As the note 20 ultra. It is worth noting that, at the end of the test, the coolest phone was indeed the iPhone 12 Pro max with 28.5 degrees in Celsius, not far behind. That was its little brother and the hottest was indeed the Xiaomi, with 48 degrees in Celsius and a heavy peak temperature of 54.1 degrees in Celsius, where the coolest peak was indeed the note 20 ultra with 47.3. This is interesting because phones such as Samsung's and iPhones tend to slow down charging at the end so that the batteries don't overheat so that they can prolong battery life over time and comparing the iPhone 12 Pro max to its predecessor, the 11 pro max. The 11 pro max got an average score of 2 hours and 30 minutes, though it does have quite a bit of a bigger battery at 3 969 William hours, it was charging at a slower rate of 18 watts.

The second place here was the Huawei Mate 40 pro, which, in my opinion, is probably the sweet spot for charging.49 minutes is more than quick enough. It is an hour faster than the 12 pro max, with a much bigger battery than it, and a slightly bigger battery than the mate series over here is the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra with an incredible 31 minutes of charge. They're not quite matching. It's advertised 23 minutes time. I hope that you guys enjoyed watching this video as much as I did.

Making it a sub to the channel would be fantastic. This is technic, and I'll, see you in the next one. You.
