iPHONE 12 PRO MAX UNBOXING AND SETUP! By Lyric Walker

Hey guys its lyric welcome back to my channel. I am so excited about this video. You can probably tell by the thumbnail and the title what it's going to be. I am going to be unboxing, my new iPhone 12 Pro max and setting it up, putting its case on and everything the process to get it today was kind of crazy. I had pre-ordered it through apple, and we went to the mall. We went to the exact place.

We were supposed to be to pick it up, and it said that the authorized user was my dad. The only person that can pick up the phone has to be the person that is the authorized user and so Apple was looking at their information, and it said that my dad was the authorized user, but the night before he had made my mom an authorized user as well, because if you're, the main user, you can add other authorized users. I don't know if that makes sense and that's what he did, but it wasn't showing on apple's side. So it went through like 30 minutes of troubleshooting and couldn't fix the problem. So we ended up canceling my order.

We went to Verizon, which is the network carrier that we use, and they were able to get me the phone and fix everything. So I'm so glad they were able to do that. That was really, really helpful, and I was a little stressed out about it, but we're all good now, and we have the phone right here. So, let's just dive into it, open it up and get this set up. I'm just going to tell you guys what I got.

I got the iPhone 12 Pro max, which is like the biggest option they had. Furthermore, I got it in 128 gigabytes, and it's in silver or white. It looks white. I just took off the plastic layer around the box and it's so thin this year, they're not including like the outlet for their chargers or earbuds, which is kind of weird they're, doing it to like save the environment or something I don't know, but I already have AirPods and like five Apple chargers. So I'm fine with that.

Okay, I'm gonna! Stop rambling! I'm too excited I'm talking too much. Let's open this! This is actually gorgeous. Oh, my goodness, I don't want to touch it. It's so hard to see on camera, but it's so pretty. I'm going to try to show you guys without touching the front.

This is what it looks like it's so shiny and beautiful. Why is it so light? It's lighter than my other phone, but it's bigger that is so cool. I love it. The sides are gorgeous. Oh, my goodness look.

You can see that reflection of the camera and everything wow it's so pretty. Oh, my goodness! I don't want to like to touch it. I don't want to mess it up. Okay, here's a little paper tab. Gonna, do a really pleasing peel of the covering paper tab, I'm not a tech channel.

So all of my terms are probably incorrect. Just enjoy the visuals, that's what I'm good at there's, literally no fingerprints on it. It's beautiful! This is the perfect size too. If you're looking to get this, but you don't want a phone, that's as big as like the eight plus or the seven plus, it's not as big it's a little little wider than my iPhone XR, and it's mostly taller bigger. This way not wider, so it's the perfect size for me and I highly recommend it if you want a bigger phone, but not like a massive phone wow.

This is gorgeous look at that camera. That is amazing. It's so reflective, I'm literally in awe of how reflective it is. Okay, let's set this aside and see what else is in the box. I just have this little designed by Apple Card.

In case you forgot, who made the phone and, of course, a little USB charger. Lightning, cable. I don't know what it's called I'm a mess. That is everything that comes in the phone. I am going to turn this on and see what we've got going for us guys my first time, turning it on how exciting, while this is turning on.

I just want to say this is my early Christmas present, and it's like the one thing that I'm getting. Furthermore, I don't think I'm getting much else, and I'm putting a lot of my own money towards it, because I really wanted this, and it's going to help me with my business and what I love to do. So I'm putting a big chunk of my money towards it, and it is my Christmas present now it's time to get this set up. It just says hello, swipe up to open English, United States. So there's like a newer setup that you can do with the iPhones now, and it looks a lot easier and that's what I want to try to do right now, set up manually down here, I'm going to click that choose a Wi-Fi network.

Oh man, I forgot the password. Let me get the password for our Wi-Fi, real, quick standby. All right, we're back in business data and privacy continue face I'd get my beautiful face. Just kidding all jokes, I'm holding this like my mom, holds her phone like okay, anyways move my face around. Is it just me or every time we have this to set a face ID I like glitch and forget how to move my face in a circle, and it's slightly bad, but it's okay to continue create a password.

I am just going to use my old one. You don't get to see that okay, it has different options to transfer everything from my old phone to this phone, and I'm going to transfer directly from iPhone. That is the new thing that I believe, I've seen. It says, set up new iPhone. This is my old phone.

This is the new one, and I'm going to click continue on this and then there's a scanning thing on this side and a little code, and all I'm going to do is place this underneath this, and it's going to scan it and literally everything from this phone transfers. I don't know how that happens, but it does- and I think it's really cool, so I'm going to show you guys. So we have this code, and I'm going to hold this in front of it, and now it says finish on new iPhone, so I'm just going to let this guy pop a squat. While I finish everything over here enter the password for my old iPhone, which is the same one I just put in it says estimated time is 20 to 25 minutes. It just says setting up your Apple ID right now.

I have something to talk about while this sets up so as you can see, I have some Christmas decorations and my room is basically completely done for Christmas. I just have to put up my Christmas tree and my Christmas room decorating. Video is coming out, so you guys will be watching this video on Friday, which is the day I'm filming this doesn't ask, but that video won't be a going up tomorrow. It'll be going up next Saturday, and I am so excited about that one. I'm really proud of the video.

It's so aesthetically pleasing, and I really think you guys will like it, and it will definitely get you in the Christmas spirit. So there's your little intermission transferring data from that phone to this phone. Okay, a lot of you guys know. I have a phone case obsession it's bad. It is bad, but right now I only have one and that's a perfect start.

So I got this case off of Amazon. It's just like a silicone super basic one kind of like the ones that apple has, but I think it's better apples are way too expensive, and they usually like chip and stuff. So I will actually have this case linked in my Amazon storefront, which is in the description. So if you want to get this case as well, I think there are a few other colors. You can go over there and check it out and let's unbox this real quick.

Oh, I forgot to mention this. This case does come with a screen protector and like a little cleaning thing to clean your screen before you put the screen protector on, thank goodness because I don't have insurance on my phone. I know my dad. We just don't do that, and so I am putting on that screen. Protector right now also forgot to mention this case was a really, really good price.

I think it was maybe 15, and you're getting a good quality case and a screen protector with it. So I definitely think it's worth the money. This is what the case looks like it's just a very light pink and what I love about this case is that it has that silicon silicone feel, but it doesn't get anything stuck to it like it feels a little more glossy for silicone. That is one of my big pet peeves about cases is when you set it down and pick it up and there's literally dirt stuck on it. Like that's disgusting, this one does not do that.

You are in safe hands. If you get this case, it feels so good in the hands. I will probably be rubbing it. My phone says it has about seven minutes left, but I'm just going to go ahead and pop it in here, because I'm too excited about it. So let's do that there we go.

We have it in the case it looks so good. It feels great. I love the way this feels I'm still surprised at how light this feels. It feels a lot lighter than I was expecting it to feel, which is very exciting about six minutes left five minutes, I'm really about to sit here for five minutes and do this little countdown thing. I want a POV of someone just watching me.

Do this little countdown! I just sit here and like three minutes. Four minutes, three minutes, two minutes, one minute and finished, and now there's another loading screen. I've never seen such a big camera. I'm going from this little guy to this Instagram pictures are about to be next level. By the way you can follow me on Instagram, it's just at lyric walker.

It just doesn't have the widgets I'll have to add those again, and I have a few other apps, but I'm going to go ahead and move those to my app library, because I don't want to see those ugly bright, colors messing up the aesthetic I have going on right here, so everything is now transferred onto this phone. I have all my pictures and everything I'm so excited, and now I'm going to test out the cameras real quick, because that is a big reason that I wanted to get this phone. I'm going to take a picture of my little polar bear right here: okay, wow, I can already see a difference.

Furthermore, I'm going to put my iPhone XR picture right here and the iPhone 12 Pro max right here. That is a little comparison. The colors and everything are so much brighter on the new phone. That is amazing. It even looks like there's more depth.

If that makes any sense, it's like you can see the shadows and the layers more clearly that is so cool, okay wow! I am so excited for this. So little recap. This is what my phone looks like now. I have the case on everything is set up, how I had it on that phone last thing we got to do is put my screen protector on, oh, my goodness, so here it is. I only have one so no pressure at all gotta do this perfectly.

First, I'm going to take this little packet. That came with my phone case and clean off my screen so that there are no little dust particles on it. It literally has a dust absorber. What is that even? What is that just a sticker? Are they trying to play me right now? Dude, it's literally a sticker, we're going to use this. It actually is really absorbing the dust.

I don't even think I need to use the cloth. I'm just going to get the screen protector on okay, peeling off. Furthermore, I can do this. Oh, I'm so nervous. I could have pushed it a little higher up on the phone, but I think I did a pretty good job.

I now have this all set up. Everything is transferred. Everything is on here. I have my screen protector on. I have a nice case on tested out the camera and everything, and it looks amazing, I'm so thankful that I was able to get that phone and that I get to help pay for it as well, but yeah that is going to be all for this video.
