iPhone 12 Mini vs Huawei P30 / Simple Comparison Review

How's it going guys today, I'm going to compare the Huawei p30 against the iPhone 12 mini. I know the p30 is a very, very old phone but, like I said before, in a lot of my past videos, it's still a good phone for the casual and normal users, but as of right now, I wouldn't really recommend it for the heavier smartphone users for hardware. I think the p30 is still one of the best, looking phones that I've ever used, whereas on an iPhone 12, it did get the new edgy design look, but for the color it's still too basic for me now back then, when I held the p30, I thought it was a perfect size and compact phone, but not until I held the iPhone 12 mini now for the size of the iPhone 12 mini. It's so compact to the point where I could reach anywhere on the screen and I would have no troubles, so I do struggle less trying to text and just reach on a very top of the screen reaching to the very top. So it's just more comfortable to use overall. But that is because I do have smaller hands now.

If you do have medium or large hands, then this phone is pretty much going to be too small for you. So even if you're viewing content, obviously the p30 is the better one because of the bigger screen now for the pluses on the p30, I do like the button layout, because everything is on one side. It's just much easier to press also, it does have a headphone jack for the ones that still uses it and, of course, USB-C which all my devices are pretty much USB-C now the plus for me on iPhone 12 mini, is basically the wireless charging. The max sleeve is something that I've used like every night and I really start enjoying using it for performance. It's obvious that the iPhone 12 is the better one.

It's newer, faster trip. Everything about it is faster, so performance is gonna, win there for the iPhone in terms of for casual users, I would say the p30 is still good enough for everyday use, as I'm scrolling around and watching videos on the p30, everything seems super smooth nowadays. I do see some lag or jitters, but it's not enough to the point where I need to tell myself. I need to get a new phone now for battery life. Furthermore, I would say both will easily last me throughout the day, even a day and a half.

If I want to push it, the p30 is getting old on me, so I do notice that the battery life doesn't hold as long as it used to be. So that's a sign of me like starting to look for a new phone. It's not the worst thing, but it still works now in terms of bloatware. I do have a lot because I use Google everything, so I try my best to uninstall and hide all the Huawei and Apple apps. So it really depends on this.

In this situation, I would say it's different for everyone now for camera. I'm going to go with the iPhone 12 just because it does have more that neutral and natural looking colors. Yes, it's not the best in terms of like a lot of saturation, but you can still go in and edit it yourself. The p30 is just easier to use. You can just take the picture, especially in portrait mode or even in aperture mode, where you can point out anything, and you'll.

Get that like blurry background, look on the iPhone you would have to move around until you see it registering on your screen, and then you can take the picture now for video hands down iPhone. Is the winner there's a lot more modes? The quality is just better, I would say Huawei, that's the weakest point is the video, but as a camera as a whole, p30 does offer a lot of different modes for you to choose from. So if you like options, p30 is the better choice. In the end, I think the p30 is still going to be a good phone for the casual user. I would say: stick with this until the day it dies, especially because it's the last phone that has access to the Google Play Store and for the iPhone 12 mini if you're planning or want to get that one out.

The thing that sticks out the most is the size. The downside of it is just the shorter battery life, but if you're a casual user most likely, that's not going to affect you too much. So that is my comparison between the iPhone 12 mini and the p30. I do have the links down below if you're still interested in getting the v30 or even iPhone, 12 mini, don't forget to like to subscribe and follow me on Instagram.
