iPhone 12 Mini Unboxing - We’ve Been Waiting For This! By C4ETech

Hey guys ash here from c4e tech, and we've seen the iPhone 12, the 12 pro the 12 pro max, and now it's time for the 12 mini to get the full c4 tech, unboxing treatment. Now I'll be honest. This is one of two phones. I've been really, really looking forward to the other one being a Sony that you will be seeing soon here on safety tech. Now. The reason that I've really been looking forward to these phones is because you don't get a lot of small flagships these days and this the iPhone 12 mini in particular, it's very special.

It's a throwback to the time uh due to the rams of the iPhone 5 and 5s that kind of design, but with a much more modern and updated everything else. So let's get another iPhone unboxed right now, so this is the tiniest iPhone box. Yet this year nothing new with the external similar branding. The price. Well note that this is 29.99 eyed, that's about 60, 000, Indian rupees, the 12 mini is priced at 69 900 in India, making this 10 000 rupees the lowest premium over global pricing. That you'll have to pay to get a currency, an iPhone.

That's not really saying much right. Anyway, let's cut through the protective wrap and now open that lid. Here's, the green iPhone 12 mini removing the cardboard off the front. This is the super expensive official, transparent case with MagSafe costs about 4 400 rupees. Here, let me turn it on and set it aside.

Next, we have the small insert with the sim tool: there's a soul, apple sticker and regular literature. Finally, the USB type-c to lightning cable. So this is the iPhone 12 mini. I love how compact this phone is now the iPhone 12 Pro is quite a compact phone by itself. After all, it weighs in at under 190 grams, and it's just uh 71.5 millimeter wide most flagships these days. They do weigh a lot more and by that I mean way more now, for example, stablemate the iPhone 12 Pro max weighs in at 228 grams, the Galaxy Note 20 ultra 208, the s20 ultra 222 hell, even the OnePlus 8t, weighs in at almost 190 grams.

Now I can keep going on and on, but I mean you get the point right here, this 135 gram phone. It feels featherlight now. It also feels very convenient to use single-handed and that's because uh, the narrower the display, the easier is it to wield in one hand and the 12 mini happens to be one of the narrowest phones, you're gonna, find today flagship or otherwise. Now, to give you some perspective, the 12 pro max, it's 78.1 millimeters wide note, 20, ultra 77.2 s20, ultra 76, the OnePlus 8t 74.1 and the iPhone 12 mini. It's just 64.2 millimeters wide. That's about that's just about eight percent wider than the four inch iPhone five now compared to that phone.

This one is just 23 grams, heavier note that the screen's much larger. Now the battery capacity is about 55 percent. More, that's, barring the extra camera module wireless charging. Stereo speakers- I mean technology- has come a long way and with all this, the fact that the 12 mini remains almost as compact as one of the most compact iPhones ever it just blows. My mind now do note that this is also one of the shortest phones around so reaching to that top right to pull down the control center or the top left to pull down notifications.

It's extremely easy to do so, and here's height comparisons with the same phones that I've been talking about. To give you guys an idea now apple's not compromised on much here, barring the screen size and battery the mini shares. Almost everything in common with the 12. , oh yeah, wireless charging speeds are little lower uh this one maxes out at 12 watts, instead of 15 via max safe, the rest, the ceramic glass, the IP rating, the stereo speakers, the 20 watt wire charging, the cameras, the mini, is identical to the regular sized iPhone flagship, or rather the iPhone 12, with all of that, the frame it's again metal. It's aluminum like with the iPhone 12 instead of the stainless steel with the pros, but it still feels extremely solid in hand.

We still get ip68 water and dust resistance, dual some functionality with one physical and one e sim. By the way, if you are looking for iPhones with two physical sim slots, they are available in select markets and online. You could get them from the likes of 28 mobile uh. They actually have them in stock and ship internationally I'll leave a link in the description below so the iPhone 12 mini it's a flagship, iPhone in every way. It looks beautiful.

It's got all the bells and whistles as its larger sibling, and it performs very well given it's got that same amazing. Five nanometers a14 bionic at the heart of everything just like on the 12. The a14 bionic here is paired with 4 gigs of ram and 64 128 or 256 gigs of onboard storage, so the 12 mini is also extremely snappy. Io's 14 flies here, uh, just like on the other, iPhone 12 phones. One fun fact worth noting is that the display uh it is smaller at 5.4 inches, but that means at 1080 by 2340. That's the pixel resolution.

The actual pixel density is higher than the other iPhones this year. Making the 12 minutes display the most pixel dense iPhone display. Ever now, that's all theoretical. You know it being the crispiest panel and all because in reality, you're not going to be able to tell it from the iPhone 12 or the pros uh. Don't know that I mean, while this is the same panel as what we find on the 12 uh, it is OLED and uh it's worth noting that it has a slightly lower peak brightness than the panels on the pros.

That's the major difference here. The refrigerator remains the same: 60 hertz there's no change in refresh rate, which is a huge bummer another talking about same the cameras. They also remain the same uh just like the primary is the same as we find on the 12 and the 12 pro uh, even the ultra-wide. It's just that the telephoto from the 12 pro is missing here, so 12, megapixels, f, 1.6! That's what I used to get these pictures. The images as you can see, they're very good uh images uh shot via the secondary 12 megapixel ultra-wide are again excellent and the selfie that's yet another 12 megapixel sensor, no change.

I really appreciated the weight so much when I was shooting, with the 12 mini mounted on a gimbals there's a lot less fatigue when shooting for a long time. The 4k 60fps makes this a great option for creators and this footage you're seeing wasn't even shot with the rear cameras. Selfie camera the optics. Are that good? What isn't that good, though, is the pricing at 69 900? The iPhone 12 mini maintains that apple premium pricing, especially in India. It is much more expensive than in other markets, but that said, this is an excellent phone.

It might even be worth that inflated Indian price for those looking for a small, tiny, little powerhouse of a flagship. This might just be the only choice, so that's been the iPhone 12 mini, and this has been me ash from c4 retch.
