iPhone 12 mini blue unboxing + set up By Real Ray

Hey guys welcome back to another real way: vlog hey guys, so today we're going to be unboxing, the new iPhone 12 mini. Now I've been waiting for this phone to come out for like forever, because I've always wanted to have a tiny um iPhone. So we've finally done it here is the iPhone 12 mini in blue um. So we're going to be taking a look at it. What do you think about it? I think it's gonna look perfect, I'm really excited. So this is what the box looks like.

It's got the blue wallpaper on it. So now we're going to open it up. Okay, I'm gonna, try and do it. So you guys can like to hear the really nice sounds. That was a really nice thing.

Okay, so um here is the box. I'm trying to be really careful, because I don't want the phone to fall out, so now I'm going to open it up. So let me just I'm going to do it here, but I'm going to try and be careful. We all know what happened last time. Okay, oh I just realized it's like raised.

I don't know if you can see on the camera, but there's like a bump here: that's cool, okay, so time to open it now wow. This is a really nice blue. Oh my gosh, that blue is so cool. Look at it! Oh my god! Oh my god, Irene likes it. I like it.

This is such a cool blue, a lot of videos on YouTube that I've seen the blue looks a bit off. But what you're, seeing in the camera right now is exactly the color so like. If you're wondering what color it is, it's exactly what you see in the like what you guys can see now, oh wow! This is incredible. I've got a case and a screen protector, because I do not want to break this phone, so the case is from Amazon. It's from this company called Torah, but this is not sponsored and this one by goodness vegan.

Okay, we're gonna, take it out of the box. Now. Can I help you? No okay, let's, okay! I really don't want to get fingerprints on this. Oh wow, okay, so I'm just touching the sides and whoa this is really light. I didn't think it was going to be this light.

Wow, okay, be very careful, don't touch the back, don't touch the back. I don't want to get any fingerprints on it. Okay, okay, okay, wow, you guys. So this is it, so I was expecting the plastic thing on the front, but it's actually paper now it does actually feel kind of plastic, but it is paper, so I'm going to peel it off. I don't know if you'll be able to hear it, but wow that was really so here.

It is, I'm trying so hard not to drop this because I dropped the previous one. I'm going to put the case on oh yeah, so we're actually going to be doing all the YouTube videos on this. So you guys will get to see what the camera is to be like um, so yeah we'll probably do some camera testing as well. So here is uh. Well, it's not in here yet so here's the case.

I just got a clear one because I love the color so yeah here it is. I want this gets a lot of fingerprints. What's the first thing, are you gonna um? You are gonna, get on there, oh yeah, so the apps I'm going to get on here, uh, probably Instagram and YouTube, and among us okay, so I got it in the case wow. This is a really nice color. So this is the front of the phone.

This is the back like that's so cool okay, so this is an iPhone 5s box. So if I just get the lid to this box, so this is the size of the box they're, like literally the same as. If I like, bring it like. Okay, the 12 money box is a bit bigger only a little bigger. This is the 5s box like how thick it is, and this is how big the 12 mini boxes like look at that.

That is. That is a difference like if you look at that this is so much thinner because they actually took the charger out like the plug. So you don't get that anymore. So, apparently the phone is actually it's got a perfect, like layer of glass for smashing, but for um so like. If you drop it, it won't crack.

But apparently it's not that good at scratch, resistance, which is why I got a screen protector because um I do not want to scratch this okay, so this is what else you get in the box um. Of course, we know there's no power, brick, which I kind of wanted another thing to plug in but yeah. This is what else you get the like instructions, there's a mini apple sticker, there's a sim card tool. It looks like you know, a MacBook, oh yeah. It looks like the Apple logo on the MacBook, and you also get this charger, but the thing is the plug bit.

Let me just take it out this part which you plug into the power brick. It doesn't there's no like bricks, there's no like plug thingy that can fit in here. So you have to buy one. So it's not an USB connector. I think it's an USB type-c connector I've got my old charger from my old iPhone that I can use with it.

Speaking of my old iPhone. So, as you guys know, I have a Samsung at the moment, but before my Samsung I used to have this phone, this iPhone 5s. I still got it, but I don't use it, but this is the size they're pretty similar, but yeah. These are very similar size like, if I like, show you like from there like. These are really similar.

If I get the 6 out the 6s. So if I get the iPhone 6s yeah, this is the six oh yeah. So this was my mom's old phone, so um yeah, just comparing the size, it's pretty it's pretty similar. These are like very similar in size, but it's just a little smaller, oh yeah, but I'm going to put the screen protector on first, okay. So the screen protector.

Okay. So we give you this little thing to apply the screen protector, which I'm going to need, because I'm awful at that. So I've wiped it down now something good yeah. I did yes, I did it right guys. I did it right.

Furthermore, I I I installed a screen protector. It's powering on it's powering on. Oh, we got the hello screen. So, let's do this English, United Kingdom. So now it's setting the language set up manually.

Okay, so we got this data and privacy thing continue face ID. Yes, we're going to continue. Let's do face ID. Can I do these ideas? No. The face ID won't work outside with your mascot, but there is an option to do alternative face.

I think which you can like to have the mask on, so we'll, we'll try that, but let's go and continue. First gun complete: okay, oh my god. It's I'm trying to get inside. Okay, I've done it. I feel like I did that too aggressively.

Okay, so um I've got started so here it is it's on the home screen now. So these are the apps that we get on here. So I think it's like the standard iPhone app. So, like camera photos calendar face time so yeah. I need to put my sim card in um, but here we go.

Oh, and we've got the app library okay. So this is where, like all the things are. Oh, oh and we've got the widgets here, which is cool so yeah. This is the home screen. The things that are new with this phone is it has so on the back.

The camera is a 12, megapixel, wide angle and an ultra-wide angle, 12 megapixels as well and on the front it's a 12 megapixel, and also you get this flashing dot, which is actually the face ID. So it's trying to detect my face. It's also got the flat edges, which means I can like to stand it up, maybe not with the case on it. It doesn't work with the case on, but without the case you can stand it up, which is cool, um, so yeah. This is, and I just love this blue color guys its amazing, because a lot of YouTubers when I've seen the videos I was like.

I wonder what the blue is actually going to look like this color is the exact color. It will be because, like some cameras take it differently, but this is the exact blue. It's very dark, but yeah I love it so yeah can we play a manga yeah? Okay, so when I download all the apps, because I still got to set up my Apple ID, so that's all for the iPhone 12 mini um, but before we go, I do have a shout-out to okay.
