iPhone 11 Pro: Unboxing & Detailed Review!

Ladies and gentlemen, it's iPhone 11 season me fly in their Ford right. So this is it guys the moment when the keyboards go wild and the comment sections are set ablaze because love it or hate it. Apple has just released their brand-new iPhone range, the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max I've managed to get my hands on all three in this video I'm going to be focusing on the iPhone 11 Pro I'm going to be doing an unboxing and my overall first review there will be a more in-depth review coming after a week or so. Zeus I will also have lots of content coming on the standard, iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro max so, depending on when you're watching this I will leave links to those videos in the video description below just below the like and subscribe button right, let's crack on with the unboxing now. The first thing you'll notice is with the iPhone 11 Pro. We have a matte black box instead of the more traditional white box that we see with a lot of Apple products and, to be honest, I'm really digging it.

Now, when you lift the lid, you are actually greeted with the rear of the iPhone, which is a little different, because usually we see the front of the device I think it's possibly because they want you to focus on what's new this year, because of course, nothing's really changed on that front design for the last couple of years. This is employ Apple tend to use on their devices. They tend to kind of recycle design, ideas at least four three, four or five years before updating its one way to maximize profits. I guess now, we'll just quickly take off the screen cover it's one of the most satisfying moments on a new purchase, delightful and two key new things are, of course, the camera setup which we'll get to a little later and, of course, that new look to the rear design. That sort of frosted matte finish, which to be honest, I, think, looks really, really classy, and I prefer it to the glossy that we've seen on numerous smartphone devices over the last few years and in the space gray version that I've got I just think it looks pretty sick, can I, say sick, I call enough to say, see I'm going with it.

So we know in the past couple years the front design has got quite a bit of flack, but also this year it's the rear design. That's been getting quite a lot of heat as well, and that's mainly down to that camera setup and, while I can't necessarily say it's the best implementation of a camera array, I don't hate it, but I do wish they continued the frosted matte finish on the bulk of the rear design. All the way through the camera lens setup as well. I think that would have helped the camera setup blend in a bit more and look much more aesthetically pleasing now, apparently, that camera array has been giving certain people a few issues if they've transphobia after I didn't even know what that was until the iPhone 11 range was brought out. But if you have that, then maybe steer clear from the iPhone well, so now we're going to move the phone to one side and see what else is inside the box and next up the first thing: you'll notice is the small package underneath small package and inside.

We have, of course, the traditional Apple stickers that you get with pretty much most products and underneath that we have a charging plug the charging, cable and some earphones now, two key things here. One thing, you'll notice is the earphones have a lightning cable and the charging cable has a type C two lightning as well. So the iPhone, of course, still has that Lightning port, a lot of people were expecting them to jump to type C and I. Personally think that would have been a smart choice. Pretty much all of Apple's.

Other products have a type C port now, yet their main big seller, the iPhone, has a lightning port. It's just a bit odd and a little frustrating if you have a MacBook, for example, and you want to carry both with you if you're traveling, you have to carry two cables, it's not the end of the world, but again when Apple pride themselves on this, probably the best ecosystem. There is around it's a very odd choice. Being freely able to move between devices within the ecosystem starts, in my opinion, with using just one cable. So that's one negative I've now got a positive for you, and that is of course, that the charger that comes in the box is finally something worth the money that you pay.

We've got an 18 watts fast charge now and yes, you could have bought an additional charger last year with the iPhone, tennis and tennis max, etc. To give you fast charging for that sort of money you shouldn't have to, and yes it's not the highest wattage we've seen on smartphone charges, while way with 40 watts, for example OnePlus with 30, but I will have to run some charging tests to see how it actually performs compared to those devices, because, of course, what it is just one factor and I will be running a comparison test on that, so stay tuned for that this standard, iPhone 11 still just comes with the 5 watt charger I did it last year, and you get it again this year, Apple right. So, let's quickly run down the specs. We've got a 5 point.8 inch newly named super Retina DR OLED HDR display it's 24 36 by 1125, with a PPI density of 458, and for those of you out there that just heard noise, then it's a great display. It's certainly going to be one of the best.

This year it's color accurate, it's vibrant, it's bright, even outdoors in sunshine, with 800 nits, max brightness, typical and 1200, it's max brightness HDR and whether you're gaming or viewing media. It looks really, really good. If, of course, you can avert your eyes from the dreaded notch which I might add, has a faster face, ID apparently this year, and it is pretty rapid, it's ip68 water and dust resistant and there's also a kind of fingerprint resistant coating on the device. We have. The new, a 13 Bionic chip expects an unreal performance.

The appellate chips tend to be right up there each year to the point where even some flagship Android devices released early next year will struggle to match it. There are, of course, a lot of advantages of Android /, Io s and iPhones, but that's for another day. I, don't think we're going to be able to fit that argument into this video now on to the cameras- and we have an overhaul here as well and some key new features- we've got a triple 12 megapixel lens setup, consisting of an ultra-wide lens within 120 degree, field of view, so not quite as wide as the Samsung s10 range, for example, but wider than the 1 + 7 Pro, for example. So it's kind of in between a lot of the flagship around right now and that lens has an aperture of f2. We've got a wide-angle lens with F 1.8 a picture and a telephoto lens with F 2.0, aperture 2 times optical zoom here and digital zoom up to 10 times. I wish that they'd upped that optical zoom, especially considering other flagship devices, have already been released with the likes of five times optical zoom and speaking about while we here a hybrid zoom of up to 50 times, and it's really, really impressive, and I feel the Apple have been a little safe here, but I don't think it's necessarily a deal-breaker for me personally.

I don't really use a telephoto lens that much, but some of you might- and you might want to know that information we've also got a 12 megapixel front camera with F 2.2 aperture. Now it is early days in using the camera, but so far, I'm pretty impressed. The wide-angle lens is a must for me now, so I'm really happy that that's there and the color temperature, while still slightly too far on the warm side. For me, it does help create photos that are vibrant and really pop edge. Detection in certain portrait scenarios could again be improved, but it seems to have got better, and you can now use, which is a perfect thing, a wider shot for your portraits as well.

So it just gives you an extra option like last year. You can also adjust the depth of your portrait shots after the event, which is still a really handy feature. So if you want to make the subject really stand out and blur that background a lot, you can do that, or you can have it slightly. More subtle. You've got 4k 60 video on the rear and 4k 60 on the front, which is incredible.

Slo-mo includes 1080p at 120 frames. A second, so no crazy, high frame rates that we've seen on some Android devices this year again, I feel Apple have played it a little. Safe could have done more here in this department. It's where the slo-mo is important to you or not, but certainly in terms of video capture, the iPhone 11 Pro and some of the latest flagship Samsung devices are probably your best bet. There is a new feature called cinematic video stabilization, but I am still in the process of testing it and I will have more information on that in my full review.

Also, a really handy feature within iOS 13, which they launched alongside the iPhone 11 range. Are you can now edit? Your videos like you could with your photos, which is a really nice touch and I, think it will please a lot of people. You have, of course, an emojis and memo gee, it's not something that I would personally use, but if you like that sort of thing knock yourself out, not literally and in terms of battery, this has been a huge overhaul for Apple this year. iPhones generally are plagued with poor battery life and, while I haven't been able to test this rigorously and I will have that information ready for my full review. Apple states that the iPhone 11 Pro will give you four hours of extra battery life from the iPhone 10 s, so four hours better than last year's model.

Now we touched on iOS 13, and it has brought in quite a few new features like dart mode, for example, but I'm going to save all that information, probably for another video, so that is the unboxing and first review done if you did enjoy it. Let me know by hitting that, like button and subscribe, if you're new to the channel and want to come, get involved in the tech train, what that's an appalling into a video I love! You leave us in no denying what I talk now I got now my kayak.
