iPhone 11 Pro Max Vs iPhone 8 Plus! (Comparison) (Review)

What's up everyone welcome back to the channel dude a comparison. You guys probably didn't even want at least right now, but I had to drop it on you guys. The iPhone 8 plus, is one of the cheapest iPhones. You can actually buy in the Apple Store right now and the iPhone Menace Max is a most expensive phone. You can behind the Apple Store right now, brand new, so I figured I might as well go ahead and compare the two spectrums see, which one is a better value per dollar. Now I'm going to tell you like this right now: okay, I think.

Yes, the 11pro is a better phone in every single way. You look at it better screen better battery. Better camera is pretty much better. Every single way around the iPhone A+ I. Don't you know if you own an iPhone, 8 plus I, don't want you thinking, you have an old phone at all.

This is not an old phone. In my opinion, the design is a little older. Yes, but the speed is still there. The cameras are still amazing. The battery life is still okay.

They really kind of messed up on the battery life. That's my only issue with the A+, but overall I, don't think like you need to go update to an 11 pro max. However, I do want to say that if you are looking to upgrade an iPhone 10s max is a still a very, very good value. You can pick them up used on eBay Amazon, whatever I'll link them down in the description. The cheapest one I find on Amazon I'll be the first one down there for tennis' max, so you can have supported the channel the same time, if you want to do that, but in this video I'm, just going to hit on the differences really the main things to talk about, not every single little tiny thing.

I'll do speed comparison between these as well. I have the same apps on both of them. Furthermore, I will hit on the cameras briefly, but I'll make a separate video talking about these cameras so will keep a lock-down on the channel hit that subscribe button. So you guys don't miss that, but the main thing I think you guys want to hear about is the build quality, and I'll definitely tell you. You guys might find this weird, but I.

Think in the atheist max is the better build. I mean you have that you know a bezel is almost so with the notch. On the front, you saw have the home button on the A+, but in terms of the way they feel on the side, I would probably still give the edge to the 11pro max this one has that I don't know what this is like, aluminum or whatever brushed metal. This one still kind of has that you know 7, plus 6s plus type, feel it's more so the 7 Plus, which doesn't feel bad, but it could definitely feel better in the 11pro. Max, definitely feels better.

In my opinion, now the one when we go to the back now excuse the A+. It is cracked, but the glass back on the iPhone 11 Pro max is a little different, so it is frosted now and what that means is like. It has a frosted material on hand. I, don't know how to describe it, but the 11pro Max's camera now has the glass on this. So, interestingly enough, the 11 the smaller variant, it's like the exact opposite.

It has a glass on the back with the frosted glass on the side of the camera. Now, in my opinion, I like this okay I think it definitely feels cool and interesting, but I think the A+ is glass back feels more premium than this does now. I understand that the same thing and I understand there are some uses for this. You know glass material as well, because you know the durability of it and everything, but I do want to say that the glass back on the A+, in my opinion, kind of feels a little better. You know it feels more premium to me and I said the same thing with the 10r as well as that feeling, even though it's not the most of you know best for me, feeling, glass ever or whatever I do think this feels a little better, but I guess to each own I think you might have a different opinion on it, but overall I think the 11pro Max is the better feeling device and let's probably no secret to you guys now speaking about both of them.

I will hit on the software updates as well for a second before I. Do the speed comparison I'm going to say that the A+ will definitely not last as long as the 11pro max? That's not a secret at all and I. Don't think the A+ is going to get that extra software variant that the iPhone 10 is going to get. If you guys don't know, I think the iPhone 10, even though they were released and announced the same time while they were announced the same time, I think the iPhone 10 is going to last longer than the iPhone 8, plus, mostly because of the design and everything. So that being said, I think the iPhone 11 Pro max will get at least two more software brands than the iPhone 8 plus.

It could be that randomly the iPhone 11 Pro max it's an extra you software variant, but I, don't think so. As of right now, I think the 11pro max will get two more software bearings in the A+. So that's probably one of the biggest reasons to go and update is to kind of future-proof yourself, so you don't randomly, but the A+ still has many more software variants left in it. So I wouldn't even worry about that. Now, on the front, you do have an LCD panel of 5.5 inch panel on the iPhone 8 plus, but a 6.5 inch panel on the iPhone 11 Pro max. This is a super Retina DR display it's pretty much the same thing as a tennis.

Max to display they're just trying to kind of like differentiate the names, but it's the same exact display. In my opinion, this one can get brighter, though so that's perfect, and they can get right in the A+ as well. So, as you can tell this, when I have automatic, brightness on, and I can't find a way to turn it off. So just randomly keeps going up on me, but that pretty much covers up everything on the outside. Let me go ahead and tell you the specs of these phones on the inside, and I'll go ahead and do the speed comparison.

The iPhone A+ has the Apple an 11 Python ship and hex core CPU and three gigabytes of RAM on all the models. The iPhone 11 Pro max has the Apple 813 Bionic chip, a hex core CPU and four gigabytes of RAM on all the models, so this one actually has more RAM than that one. So the A+ has one less gigabyte of RAM than the iPhone 11 Pro Mac, so I have some similar apps on both of these. So let's go ahead and run a little of a speed comparison. This isn't going to be too crazy.

I will tell you the 11pro max is going to be the faster phone, but you can never know so. Let's go and see which one is a fast one between these two okay, we're back into it. Let's go and clear out all the apps in the background, I totally miss it. Okay, all the apps are cleared out in the background. Let's go ahead and do Facebook three two one and, as you can tell I mean that was quite a bit of difference between those two.

The 11pro max way had SoundCloud three to one, and I hid the camera there a little. I hope you guys didn't see that and again the 11pro max is a faster device right there. Let's do Twitter three, two one and again the 11pro max is so much it's done, so I'm going to try to hype it up, but it is noticeably faster. So far, Snapchat three-two-one the 11pro max almost like instantaneously, open that app where the iPhone a+ just you know it is so lower. But it's not like ways way: slower, Instagram, three-two-one and again.

The 11pro max is the faster one. Netflix three-two-one and again the 11pro max faster than the iPhone 8 plus, and the A+ is still loading. Still loading I don't know what's going on with it, but it might be some app thing. It might be some issue there, I don't know, but I would still give the edge to the 11pro max stoop over 3, 2, 1 and again dude eleven Pro max. This is the first comparison that I've done so far, where it's like every time is faster on the 11pro max before it wasn't really like that with all my other phones.

Sometimes it was faster on one phone, sometimes on the other, but so far the 11pro max is doing pretty well, let's do Temple Run three two one, and you can sell the 11pro max I mean is just flying through, and you know it's just like right. Behind the plus is just right behind the 11pro Max and, like I said we eventually get into it on both, but I don't know like it's. It's definitely a noticeable upgrade and I. Don't want to say, like oh, my god, it's not good enough or whatever, but I, don't know I feel like they could have done more, maybe like additional RAM or something like that. I don't know, but let's do Quizlet three two one, and you can see the 11pro max again was the faster one.

There Dropbox three two one, just like almost instantly into it on the 11pro max, where it's just a little slower on the iPhone A+. Thank you, 3 2, 1, okay, we're eventually into it on the 11pro max, and shortly I would say about you know: big, not a big difference, but noticeable amount of time later. The 11pro mag and the A+ is eventually into it. So I don't know if this game is going to be pretty much the same game play on both it's a very minor game at that big snake versus blocks. Three two one for some reason: I always have a little of glitchy frames, sometimes on the eight plus or a lump Pro max or any phone really when I'm loading.

This game, as you saw the 11pro max, was faster getting into some gameplay. You might see that it might have glitched up on one of these phones, hopefully the A+ and not the 11pro max, because that is a newer device but yeah pretty much almost the same gameplay paper, IO 2, 3, 2 1, and that one was almost a tie, but I think the 11pro max are just like a split second faster than it getting into some gameplay. Let's go and see which one is faster, and you probably will be able to tell the 11pro max is going to be faster one, regardless fruit, ninja three, two one and again the 11pro max the faster device I'm so happy that this one is faster like every single time. I was really scared that it wouldn't be like I was afraid the 11pro would be it's like slower, but doesn't seem to be the case. Let's do Real Racing 3 3, 2 1, and we do get into it faster on the A+, but I don't know what this is.

I think this is one of those games that when you open it on the order, devices or any device more often it I guess it gets you used to opening up, and it has a cache file saved in the back, because on all the devices that brand so far, the older devices that I've owned we're faster than the new one. So I don't know what it is. I'm going to set this as inconclusive, though, let's go ahead and end it off with Temple Run 2 3 2 1 got into that boots wound way lower like the way faster. This one is still downloading content, and then we're already into it on the 11pro max where this one is still downloading I'll go ahead and redo this one, though, even though I ran this on this one so many times, it's always downloading things for some reason. So let's go ahead and redo this one temple 1 2, again, 3, 2, 1 and, as you guys can tell I mean it's way faster than the iPhone 8 plus, and this one is still downloading content.

What's going on all right, we're gonna scrap this one. Let me go and show you guys a benchmark score, which is really really fascinating. Okay, as you can see, 240 1795 on the iPhone 8 plus 450, six thousand eight hundred and sixty-five on the iPhone 1011 Pro X. So what I can tell you are there definitely is a big upgrade you're. Definitely getting a speed boost going up to the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but I really don't have anything negative to say.

I'm, actually, really, really happy to say that you know like when you're upgrading to 11 Pro max you're going to definitely be getting a speed boost. So that's definitely cool. Would you be getting the same speed boost? If you let's say you upgraded from an 8 +, two a-10s max, maybe you'll definitely be getting a faster phone, but regardless this is definitely a speed boost going from my 8 + 211 pro max. So let's go in here on the cameras for a quick. Second, as you can see, there's quite a bit of different setup on the A+ and then going to 11 Pro max.

You have a dual camera setup on the iPhone 8 + 2, 12, megapixel, sensors, or on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. You have 3 12 megapixel sensors, so they both can shoot 4k at 6 frames per second. They both have almost the same features, but the 11pro max does have that extra ultra-wide sensor, which allows you to do a lot more with that camera, and having night mode on the 11pro max as well. On the front, we do have a little of a different setup, so we have a 7 megapixel, front-facing camera on the iPhone 8 plus, but a new 12 megapixel sensor on the 11pro max, which actually allows you to do 4k at up to 60 frames per second on that front camera, which is super sick. Now, goofing up the cameras for a second I've, always found these camera setups, especially even on the A+, even from the 7 plus, to be very, very good.

I've. Never really, never really had too many problems with these camera senses. You do have that telephoto lens which allows you to zoom in you know 2 times, optical zoom, whatever it is, but you don't have that ultra-wide angle effect that you do have on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. You don't have night mode on a plus, but you still have a very good sensor. In my opinion, however, the 11pro max is that extra.

You know finesse into that camera. You know you still have that like 2 times optical zoom, so you still have the same exact features as the 11pro max, but you do have that extra. Furthermore, you know ultra light sensor, which you can see my legs down there. Furthermore, you can see. You know: okay, I guess more of the desk, but this is definitely a super cool thing to have, but I just don't know how many people are going to be using.

This like this seems to be a feature that I just don't think a lot of people are going to be using I want to zoom in I. Think you guys are uncomfortable, but I definitely do think the 11pro max will have the better camera, the better camera quality. You know that front camera is better, but I think the A+ is still very good too, so I'll have a whole separate video talking about this camera hitting on it and like once, the time comes, but as it is right now, the 11pro max still has a better camera. In my opinion now hitting on the battery life, this is probably the biggest reason to go and upgrade from an iPhone, a plus 2 and iPhone 11 Pro Max I, don't know what Apple was thinking, but when they released the iPhone 8 plus they decreased the battery size from the 7 plus. So this one had a twenty-six.

Ninety-one month hour battery, which you know isn't bad I guess, but it's like very, very average. It's below average. In my opinion, however, the iPhone 11 Pro max has a 3969 million power battery and almost the same frame. Okay, this is not even like a way bigger device. It's the same as that body size pretty much.

Maybe it's a little thicker or wider, but it's almost exactly the same, and that is a literally so amazing that they were to do that, that they both have wireless charge, and they all have those things. But without a doubt the 11pro max will have the better battery life, even though it's faster, even though it has a bigger screen or even though it's whatever high resolution, this one will have the better battery life, which I'm so happy to say, and ultimately, why I can tell you is: is that if you're, if you're wanting to go and upgrade from an A+ to 11 pro max I would say, go for it? There's a lot of cool things that you're getting with the 11pro max that you don't have only a plus the better battery life. The screen the face idea, if you're into that I'm, not I like touch ID more, the better build quality. Soft rubbed is for a very long time. The speed increases well, but I still think.

Maybe the A+ can get you around for much longer. I mean you can probably use this for many more years and probably not even care, or you can even wait for the 20/20 iPhone, so this is kind of like a placeholder, but it's a very good placeholder. In my opinion, however, if you do want the best bang for your buck, you can, you want to say the same size. You can go pick up an iPhone tennis max in the used market for probably like 800, probably even cheaper than that for the base model. So I probably recommend you to do that, but if you even want the best value per dollar, I think I used iPhone 10.

It's probably the best way to go you're not getting like iPhone 11 Pro max. You know, speed increase and everything, but you're still getting a very, very good phone. That's still going to last you probably as long as the iPhone 10, so I'll leave links to the cheapest iPhone tennis, maxes and iPhone tens that I find on Amazon and only come straight down in the description below. So you guys can help support the channel at the same time. But that's pretty much it guys if you have any questions or anything leave it down in the comment section below.

It's not like bundle me so much, but definitely subscribe button whoops every single subscriber that we got really does count. So do me so much of you guys could hit that also check out the other links down in the description as well. My Twitter, my Instagram, my second channel, all those things, certainly down below I'd, really appreciate, if you guys to check it out, but, more importantly, everything else love every single one of you guys, hopefully I'll catch.
