iPad OS 13.4 TERRIBLE Battery Drain Issue

Hey guys, what's up, it's Alba Critic, some Apple critics. Calm in this video I'm going to be talking about some issues that I've been having with iPadOS 13.4 and that prominent issue actually has been the critical most important part of the whole iPad experience, and that is the battery. So take a look at the battery right now. It's exactly 54 percent, and I've barely been using the iPad, and it has drained all the way down to 54%, and I'm. Talking barely used it, so there's clearly a battery issue, whew an iPadOS 13.4, and it needs to be addressed because it's just absurd that the battery would change so much from one iteration of iPadOS to another. When it's relatively the same now, we can go ahead and break down the chart, so we can go on into settings and then taking a closer look.

You're going to see that you have at the detailed breakdown, as you can see when it was last charged, so is last charged at 1:51. It's currently 929, and then you can see the overall activity. So you can see that the screen has been off for about 11 minutes screen on 3 hours and 58 minutes. You could see that it shows Instagram, Apple, music, home and lock screen FaceTime, and all that, but I honestly I, don't believe these graphs, because I've barely been using the iPad, and it's just not been given me good battery life like it was an iPad or less 13.3 now going to the last ten days, so you can see a more detailed breakdown once you get to the last 10 days. As you can see the battery level and everything like that.

Now you have the 2 hours and 12 minutes and the 3 hours and 50 minutes now. This is actually combining with yesterday and today. So it's not as accurate showing today's. So you can see just like the overall last 24 hours, I've honestly barely been using it and I charged my iPad all the way up to 100% before it got down to 54%, just to prove it now. I also will show some more screenshots about the battery and now in this video right here you can see the last charge level, which was Friday at 151 p.

m. you have the screen on time of 7 hours and 19 minutes and the screen off of 11 minutes now. This still can give you a detailed breakdown of everything about it. So the camera are the photos, and you can see all the percentages that it's been had as well. So you can get a rough idea.

You can also go to a more detailed breakdown of each individual app. You can see how long it's been in the background for as well. Furthermore, you can see just the battery is just not adding up now. My initial reaction to this was that I had the Bluetooth on, and I thought the Bluetooth was a problem since it maybe was connected to my magic trackpad, and it was just draining the battery like that. But that definitely wasn't the case.

So here we have my magic trackpad, and now it does have connectivity in iPadOS 13.4, but that wasn't the issue, because I made sure that the Bluetooth was off at the time, and then you can see that there still is battery issues, so they're just going through all those thoughts. I thought what else to do then just check on Twitter, so I actually ended up checking on Twitter, and then I saw this tweet on Twitter. That said, I finally updated my iPad with the new software and my battery, which typically lasted at least 10 hours, add within an hour. So what am I supposed to do? I've, recharged and the battery just drained. So this is a common issue.

This was somebody that emailed Apple directly and then Apple's response was just as generic as you would think, we'd like to help you get the most out of your battery. Let's start with confirming a few things to get a better view what's happening and his iPadOS 13 point for the exact version installed. Please DM us and everything like that, so that was today at 9:53 a. m. so you can see that this is a common issue and people are starting to realize it and then here's another tweet.

Somebody said getting abysmal battery performance on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPad Pro 10.5 after updating to iOS 13.4 from iOS.13 point three point one: so you can see that it's a common issue that people are now starting to face with this battery drain. So I'm, not the only one having issues with this battery and now just the final tweet that someone else wrote overall iOS 13.4 has been great by the battery life using a mouse on the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is the dismal battery issues have been present for some time on this model of the iPad Pro, but this is the worst I've seen yet puts a damper on the ideal use case of an iPad Pro and below that tweet. There's a joke that says that sounds like a good old plan, Apple obsolescence. So there we have it that basically confirms the battery issues for iPadOS. Thirteen point four and a lot of people are gonna, be facing this issue.

You know I strongly believe that the release of iPod OS thirteen point four is imminent, so it's just upon us within the next couple of days and Apple is gonna, go ahead and start out the bugs and fix the battery life. Most importantly because you can already see that my battery life is draining to fifty-three percent and then 52 percent, and I'm just filming this video all in one sitting. So once again, this was Apple critics talking to you about the battery train issues on the iPadOS in 13.4, pretty sure to subscribe. You smash the like button down below slowly.
