iPad Mini 2021 Release Date and Price – Worth the wait for this Reason… By Matt Talks Tech

Our new iPad is way overdue to be refreshed, and I want to share with you the expected iPad Mini 2021 release date and price today, as we're expecting an a14 chipset put inside this iPad Mini model. What is worth the wait for this reason alone, but there are many other reasons as well. Let me share all the details of this and a summary of everything we know so far. Hi it's mat there. So, let's cut to the chase here it has been over two years since we've had a new iPad Mini that came with the a12 chipset inside that's right. The last time the iPad Mini got updated was in March 2019.

So recently, we've just had the apple spring, loaded event, where we saw the new iPad Pro new air tags and the new iMac m1. In fact, if you want to know more about those other apple products and brand-new reviews and perspectives are coming on here, so check out my other videos on my channel and make sure you subscribe and hit the notification bell because, as mentioned I'll, be giving my full review and tips video for all the new apple products when they come out. But anyway, with the apple spring-loaded event, it did not show us a brand new iPad Mini, and many of us, including myself, were very disappointed to see that apple did not upgrade this iPad, as it is way overdue to have a new design and a new chipset. Well, the good news is, we are very likely to see a new iPad Mini before the end of the year and most likely at the end of summer, at one of apple's new virtual events. We expect by following history of previous iPad releases that do not happen in the first half of the year that all other iPad releases generally are released at the end of September or beginning of October time.

So we're expecting the new iPad Mini to have a release date of around this time period, when the exact release date is leaked or leaks, are pointing towards an Apple event date. For this time we can give you the exact date. You'll probably be able to get your hands on that brand new iPad Mini now, I would normally go on to the price next, however, this next lake is a bit of a blow for the iPad Mini in design. It is looking likely we won't get an iPad Mini pro with a full new design this year, but an update the current iPad Mini design has been around since the start in 2012. These pictures have been provided by Sony Dixon, and it looks like for the iPad Pro models and the iPad Mini.

The main design body is unchanged from the last generation, so this does mean we'll be sticking with a touch I'd button at the bottom, and it's very likely that the screen size will be staying the same at 7.9 inches. Well, it's the same size. We've had since the first generation iPad Mini back in 2012. , so for the iPad Mini price that leak has kind of thrown things up in the air a little, and it's a bit more tricky to work out what the next model price will be, because we don't know if it's going to be a pro or a standard mini model. At the moment you can get a current gen 5 iPad Mini for 399 us dollars.

If you opt for the basic 64 gigabyte model. Now this is a good benchmark, but the likelihood of an a14 or even the slight possibility of an a14x chipset inside the iPad Mini if it becomes a pro model, is that the price could increase ever so slightly. But at the same time, remember. The newest iPad, 8th generation that came out in late 2020 is actually just as fast as the iPad Mini 5 with an a12 processor inside it, but it also features a larger screen and is actually cheaper than the iPad Mini 5th generation by 70 us dollars. What is really bizarre at the moment, as this is something apple needs to correct right away.

We believe the starting price will be again the same 399 us dollars, especially if we just get an upgrade in chipset to maybe an a13 or even a 14 chipset, of retaining the same design. Just quickly, though guys one thing I love to do on this channel, and that is doing a giveaway and in fact, I'm doing a giveaway right now for this, it is for an iPhone SE in space gray and a 64 gigabyte version. If you will be the lucky winner in an upcoming video now, another leak about the screen is rumored that we could be getting a mini, led makeover. These new displays would replace the CDs in the product and would offer an experience more like an OLED that we currently get in the iPhone 12 Pro models.

But if we are retaining that design, it is unlikely. It is likely, though, that the iPad Mini 6 will also feature a new chipset inside it. Like I already mentioned, and most likely, it probably will be the a14 bionic chip that we get in the iPhone 12 models, but ram size will probably be the same as the normal iPhone 12 and the 12 mini, and that is around about 4 gigabytes Apple Pencil support was added to the iPad Mini 5, and we expect it to stick around possibly with the sport for the second generation Apple Pencil a keyboard photo accessory would be nice, though, whether it would work with a smaller tablet. That could be a bit of an issue, so I don't think we're possibly going to see a smaller magic keyboard for the iPad Mini. Another rumor suggests that the iPad Mini 6 might stick with the lightning port rather than jumping to USB, as the standard like what you find in the iPad Pro range and also the iPad Air apple gave the pro and recently the air and USB-C port as a pro and air is targeted to be more of a laptop replacement device and also to work with high-end to pro apps.

So the ability to import media on USB is needed. Well guys at this stage. This is the latest. We know about the new iPad Mini 6.
