What's good, ladies and gentlemen, what just be beenn't today, I can't believe I'm about to say this. I didn't think I ever be doing this, but we here so let's talk about the iPad. You guys are here for one reason to be honest to find out if the iPad is good enough for you to add to your workflow, go into mobile with video editing or photo editing whatever your note. Is this worth it for you this? You know the budget, you know complete, we do the budget review. So let's go ahead and find out. Is this a good budget tablet for you that sounds lame? Is crap, let's go ahead and hit over the specs real, quick, because really the specs don't actually matter, but this is touch one respects a little and I.
Don't even have the space memorized, so don't judge me I'm going to be reading specs off of Apple's website. Let's go, it has two different capacities: 32 gig and 128 gigs. It weighs a little more than a pound. It's a 10.2-inch iPad, which I already know that because I'm pretty sure that's in the title, but the resolution is 2160 by 1620 Lob law I'm, not talking about the camera, because I don't want to see you all doing selfies. Looking like a fool also, this iPad supports the Apple Pencil as well as the smart Keyboard.
The smart Keyboard is like 160 bucks. Don't do that I personally, just got a Bluetooth keyboard, and I'm pairing that with my tablet, but I mean if you want to spend 106 dollars on something out, only costs $250, but all means go right ahead. I, you know I want to do it, you do what you do it, but if you were, if you budget conscious like me, which I would imagine you are since you're watching a budget review, you wouldn't do that. So I'll keep a link in the description below to let you know which Bluetooth, keyboard, I, used and also the Apple Pencil. Is its good? So let's go ahead and just cut to the chase.
Let's talk about photo editing. What we're actually going to do is go ahead. Talk about some programs! I used and how I add this to my workflow and to see if there's gonna, be something that'll be useful for you now, if you don't use Adobe, don't fret there are other programs, you can use that are not Adobe programs that work very well and actually like kind of cheap. Relatively speaking, if you will now edit, Lightroom feels perfect. I will say if it feels perfect like it feels perfect to edit on a tablet in mind.
You don't need to use this when I'm editing in Lightroom, but it just feels good to edit with the pen. It feels nice. However, this is not a multitasking beast when you come to photos and video editing, and why is someone cutting grass right now, Oh Lord, alright, so please forgive the audio quality, because somebody's cutting grass out here, and I just got it. I have to make this video, so I can't if I don't make it now, it's not going to get me so alright forgot what I was talking about turn that lawnmower off what was that? Oh, okay, yeah? It's not the multitasking beasts in regard to editing photos and videos and stuff, like that. You may just want to close all of your other programs and only open your editing.
Software lightly runs great. It does have a little lag after I make an adjustment so, for instance, I'll show you an example here by change. The exposure you'll see Oh drop the quality of the image that I'm looking at, and then it takes about a second I'm gonna, say, and it'll refresh again, and they'll look sharp. So that's one of the things. Okay, that's not great, but it's not terrible.
You know so something to think about. You may just want to have a little of patience when you're editing with this in mind now on to photoshop. Okay. So just like on your PC, if you're editing in Lightroom- and you want to continue editing this particular photo into Photoshop- you can just click. Click boom Photoshop opens up, and it opens the image up for you in Photoshop, I haven't really experienced a lot of lags using the Apple Pencil I do want to talk about that, but pencil.
Just a little um I do think this is a great resource to use. It does again don't like very much. It does have lag. Of course that's expected, but doesn't have a lot of lags unless you have too many background programs open to charging is trash plug this in, so you tap it, but they do I guess come with an accessory that you can plug in, so you can plug it into the wall. Now editing video, so editing, video I used I'm trying to talk about premiere without getting furious.
So you can edit video on a tablet. I use premiere rush. I will advise against using premiere rush. If you can,, it's not the worst editing program out there for video, but is not great at all, especially coming from premiere. It's great like there's so much about premiere that I love for them to have.
For me, a rush just it feels like this was made in a rush because there's a bunch of things which I'm not going to get into today, but there's a bunch of things about premiere rush that I do not like, and I've seen. Lima fusion I haven't used it yet, but I want to get into it because I feel like it gives you more freedom to do what you want to do in Lima fusion, whereas premiere rush is very restrictive, and you just don't, have the freedom really to do everything you want to do now. If that said, go back to the main point in the video. Yes, you can definitely edit high-quality videos on the tablet itself. Now I haven't tested a battery life, but what I will say is I have edited multiple photos and if for at least an hour in video and the battery has yet to die on me, like I, haven't had like from full charge, I haven't had a battery down me.
I wish I had an actual number for you. I know it says: I believe it can keep a full charge for like 10 hours or something like that. I, don't know, I, don't know what kind of taxing things you're doing there, but me personally, I've at least been editing for about 3-4 hours and I haven't had a battery died on me, so it's the battery life is very good. You can go somewhere, live your life edit. Do you think- and you know have donned't- have to worry about losing out on everything? I don't know if that last part made any sense where I'm struggling this is.
This has been hard for me. I'll, let you know this has been a little rough okay, so pretty much in closing I would say if you are looking for a tablet. That's you know for editing, videos or editing photos. I would say this is probably the best that you're going to get before around $300 and less. This is by far the best thing that you're going to find, and I'm, not an apple guy.
So me saying that I think is a big deal, but I mean you don't know me. So you probably don't even care if it's a big deal coming from me, but anyway I don't care about that this. This is probably what you want to do, but I do have a question for you guys so to wrap everything up. Yeah, I think it's a good buy. You should do it if you're thinking about doing it.
Do it now I need some help, Photoshop and Adobe rush or trash. Yes, I'm, just going to leave it at that, but if you guys out there already using Apple products, and you edit photos or videos in a different program, please go ahead and comment down below to. Let me know what you're using cut, so I can experiment and find out what's gonna work out best for me, because right now. Photoshop is not that great yeah, it's great, that I can just move seamlessly from Lightroom to photoshop and if I want to edit it and finish it at my computer, I can that's great and all, but I would sometimes like to just be able to do an edit from my tablet. So let me know what you're using there and the same thing for a video if you've used Lima fusion before.
Let me know what you think, so I can go ahead and have some feedback to help me out and make a decision on that. Alright. So with that said, that's all I really got for you guys today. So please don't forget to MMM. That's not words that none of s words.
So please don't forget to like the video. If you liked the video comment down below and as always, I gave you some tools to create that go, be great peace.
