Ios 14 customization for ipad / iphone + how to customize and organize your ipad | Easy & Aesthetic

Hello everyone welcome back to our channel and today, in this video we are going to be showing you guys how to customize your iPad with iOS 14. So we got this update on our iPad, so we thought to customize our iPad, and then we were like you guys, will love that video too, because everyone else is searching for the INSP to customize their iPad. And yes, so we decided to organize it and to customize it, because this iOS 14 is allowing us to really customize and really like to organize our iPads and make it a lot more aesthetic than it was of course. So, yes, today we are going to be showing you guys how we did that and how you can do it so first thing: first, how to update your iPad to iOS 14. So what you have to do is to go to settings, and then you'll find like system update and everything like that. So you have to go there and see like if you have any update or not, so you'll check.

If you have any update and then click on update and your iPad will start installing or downloading the iOS 14. , it will take a while, and it will be patient and you're charging should be like 100 to 50 percent like less than 50 percent. It will not install the iOS 14. So next thing next, that you need to know is that you have to like to have storage like enough storage to install the new update, and everything like that. So now that you have updated your iPad, it's time for us to do all the stuffs.

So first things first, you need to remember is that iOS features on iPad are a little different from the iPhone ones, because you cannot drag your widgets to the home screen. You can see that if you are um in the vertical position, you cannot access the widgets until you swipe left. So yes, but when you are in the landscape mode like this, you can see the widgets will automatically appear, but they will not appear on the home screen. So they there are a section right here for the widgets and you cannot move so another thing. You have to keep in mind that if you want your widgets to be permanent on the landscape mode, you have to click this option right here by tapping the screen for like few seconds.

You will get this option right here, and you have to turn it on and when you'll turn it on, the widgets will appear permanently on the landscape mode. And if you will turn this off, you can swipe to get the widgets, and you can swipe back, and it will be your normal iPad without the widgets. So for the customization, you first have to select your aesthetic and for that you have to go to Pinterest and choose why you want your iPad to be so. For us, we are a combination of a Soho and cottage cover, so we wanted our aesthetic to look like something like this, and so we have a really nice pastel, cloudy vibe, going on right here and peachy and brown and pinky tones going on in our iPad. So what you have to do is to go to Pinterest search for the certain aesthetic pictures, and you have to save a lot of pictures because you have to change your apps into the pictures too.

But it's completely up to you. If you want to change the apps and customize them, and if you don't want them, you can like to leave them as they are. So yes, so first thing: first, in order to customize your apps, you have to go to the shortcut app, which comes pre-installed in the iPad after the update. Now you have to go to the shortcut tab and on the left top corner, you will see a plus sign, and you have to click that, and you will see a search bar right at this right side, and you have to search open app, and you will see this colorful icon appearing. So you have to click that colorful icon, and now you have to choose what app you want to customize, of course, and we are choosing camera right now and now in the center.

You will see three dots, and you have to click them, and now you have to type in the name you want to create so right now, I'm typing camera, and you have to click the add to home screen button. And now here you will have a window, and can change the picture from here. So now I am writing camera and this will be in the name that will appear on the home page. So, yes, you have to type the name and after that we have copied some symbols, and this will like to give our iPad a little more like a static look. So yes, you have to go to google search for the symbols and copy them.

So yes, now you have to click on the icon, and you will see the option called choose photo, and you have to choose the photo and from your gallery so yeah for the camera. We decided to go with this like aesthetic camera, and we are going to use it and add, and this will add your icon to the home. So now it's turned for us to customize our widgets, and for that you have to install an app called tinsmith on your app store. So after installing the app you have to open it and do some certain stuff which we'll show you guys in detail. So yes, so to add these small and really nice, aesthetic widgets.

You have to go to the app widget smith and after that you can see there are so many options, so you have to click the all add a small widget option and then you guys can see there are default widgets, and you have to click that again and you guys can see there are so many styles day and date. Styles that you can choose. There is weather, option, clock options, so many options. So after that you have to choose whatever option you like. So next you have to click onto the font option to choose what font you have to like to apply onto this widget.

So if you are choosing like the New York font and next you can choose whatever color you like. So, in the background color we really love the pastels, and we were really leaning towards them. So we decided to use the pastel colors you guys can see. There are actually borders that you can apply to. So only for this tutorial we are going to be using the pastel blue because we have already like chosen our widgets.

So for this video we are going to be choosing like the pastel blue one just to show you guys and the black font like color. So yes, that is it for the widget and you guys can see it looks nice, and now we are showing you guys how to make the aesthetic widget like the simple picture, one. Nothing like the words and anything like that. So you have to like click onto the add widget, again, click onto the default widget and you guys can see there is an option called like photo. So you have to click that option, and then you can see like select photo option, and you have to click that and custom photo and you guys can see your photo.

Album will open. So you can, like literally choose whatever. Like picture, you want, so you have to like to choose the photo and save it. So you guys can see. The widget's name are small, six and small seven.

So you have to like to keep that in mind so next step. Next, you have to like click onto the edit button plus and search for the app called widget smith onto this thing, so you can see there is option called small widgets, and you have to add this. Now you have to click on to the widget and you guys can see there is an option called edit widget, and you have to click that option and select the number of the widget that you want to appear on the screen. So there is like a number called small six, which was the number for this widget. So, yes, you have to choose the number for each widget.

So another thing I want to tell you guys is that the aesthetic widgets that you guys can see like with the pictures are non-functional, so you guys cannot like to see any date or time on those widgets, so these are like just for aesthetic. So yes, so now we are going to show you guys how to add the medium widgets and the process, for this is almost the same. You have to go and click the default widget, and you have to select what widget you want to choose so for this particular visit. We are going with the reminders and make sure you have the reminder app and now we are going to click to the to-do list and select it, because we want our to-do list to appear on the widget, and now you have to select the font color and whatever you want after you are done, designing your widgets. You can also tap and change the name of the widget, so it will be easier for you to search so for now we are typing mad one, which means that it is a medium one.

Now there is another option: if you want to delete the fidget, you can swipe towards the left, and you can delete the widget too. So when you are organizing the apps, you should keep in mind that you cannot hide, or you can not move the app into any library. So what we did is to drag the app and made a separate page for the original apps. So after all of this stuff, this is how our iPad looks like and you guys can see it looks so aesthetic and if you guys want the pictures and all the stuff, so you guys can go to our Pinterest, which will be in the description box down below, and you can get the pictures from there. So that was it for today's video hope.

You guys enjoyed it and if it is so make sure to give it a big thumbs up and also subscribe to our channel down below turn the notification bells on, so you'll be notified.
