Interview with IQOO - Exclusive First look of yet to launch iQOO Z3 #Fullyloaded By Geekyranjit

Hi guys this is transit, and this is going to be a different kind of video. I got a chance to actually interview one-on-one Gadara, who is actually the director of IPO India, so I recorded the interaction and guys your current situation. We have to do it actually online, so it's not super high quality uh, but nevertheless uh we got some surprises. I was not expecting that so here it goes so guys. Here we have uh who's. The director of ICO India with us- and I just want to thank you first for taking out the time and doing this one by one interaction.

I know a new smartphone from you guys will be launching soon so, but still you took out time so again, thanks for that, so I'll quickly. Just jump to the first question that I have. I know it's a silly question, but I always wanted to ask this because guy uh, you guys uh, started this uh ICU three first in India, that was in 2020. Now in 2021. That's in April we got the IPO 7 series, so I'm very curious what happened to the ICO 4? I could 5 and the ICO 6, so thank you transit first, you know thank you for having me here.

I really appreciate that uh, and thank you for giving us chance to interact with followers to answer your questions. Uh. The first thing is that, yes, we launched our first one iq3 in last week, 2020 and after that we took a small amount of break to understand. You know what consumers are looking for, what are their expectations and we spend our time very extensively on understanding these things and obviously with heavy research. It took us time but uh, I'm very happy that we came back with iq7 series, which has proved to be a success for us uh, so I can see that time well spent and for IQ four five and six uh again, I think, with iq7 series we have tried to compensate that: well, okay, fair, fair, fair, okay, so uh.

Let me talk a little about asking questions about the iq7. That's the reason that you have launched so how's being the response to the IPO 7 series, uh Jumanji, the response for iq7 series. I can say only one thing: it has been stupendous: uh iq7 series has been a success and just to tell you about it, uh iq7 series was the highest selling 5g smartphone on day one uh. That is true for all 5g smartphone on Amazon platform. Second thing: i27 is the highest rated 5g smartphone uh between 30 and 40, 000 uh on Amazon, so again in terms of being loved by consumer and tech, community uh.

It is ahead of the competition, and we are really, really happy about it, and I can also tell you one thing with great success comes great responsibility, so I think the onus is on us now to how we, how do we improve consumer experience uh? How do we take this success forward? So we are working continuously towards that. Personally, I would say I also like the ICO. Seven. You got a lot of things right: the pricing, the performance, the camera. So yes, I like that.

Okay, now, let's move to this uh next question, and I've been getting this uh similar sort of question from a lot of users. So I was curious to get an answer directly from you uh. So I get this question a lot about the service from ICO, as ICO is a relatively new branch. I know you guys have said earlier that some VIVO service centers can be used for service. Can you elaborate a little on this and service and warranty of ICO, uh, smartphones, sure engine so past 12 months gave us many valuable lessons, and we are implementing them at full pace right now, uh, just like manufacturing, IQ smartphones in shared facility with Vito? We have decided to extend this synergy across to other areas also, and one of them is after sales service, and we have currently approximately 30 service centers, newer service centers, where you can go and avail services for ICO smartphones as well and uh in the coming months.

We are as on ground situation, improves. Furthermore, we are going to expand this number aggressively and customer experience is really, really important for us, and it's going to be a top most priority uh as well- and this is where we are allocating most of our resources right now: okay, interesting uh, so uh. This is a question that I have so you guys have been mostly launching sort of flagship, spec phones for even iPhone 3, now the iPhone 7 series, but uh recently, I saw some teasers on your twitter handle about this new smartphone. That is the ICO z3. Where will this smartphone fit and what kind of user base you guys are targeting with this new ICO z3? And can you tell a little more about the ICO, z3 sure, transit uh? You need only one phone per category to redefine the performance, and we did that with iq7 series and uh.

Now we have set our eyes on a new category, and this is where IQ z3 comes in and uh to add on to that we don't intend to flood the market with undifferentiated devices. So let me tell you more about uh who does uh this IOC series serve too so IQ z3 is made for all gen, z, audiences and when I say I gen z, they believe in no compromises, and this is where IQ z3 promises to be a fully loaded device, and it is going to deliver on all fronts uh. Similarly, you know when we talk about gen z, uh. They are the ones who are looking for. You know a great experience.

They don't want to cut corners on anything. They need a great camera to upload their images on social apps. Furthermore, they need fast charging capabilities again uh, which does not stop their fast-paced lifestyle. Similarly, uh this device has to be good, looking too, to complement their style quotient. Also, so again, and all you also saw that these are about snapdragon 768 also that'll be the first in India.

I guess you guys are bringing the first smartphone with that soc in India right so iqc3 is going to have. You know the greatest power in its category to tackle anything you throw it at so again for unconventional consumers, gen z, consumer who wants something future ready and just made for them. So as you're saying it's gen, z, uh, so young audience, I'm pretty sure mo many of the young audience like to do a little of a lot of gaming, in fact not a little of gaming. So any gaming specific features that you have on this uh z3, so transit as you uh for AIK the gaming, the gamers are really, really important part and gaming capability has to be top-notch and to enable that the first thing snapdragon 68, which we just discussed - that's gonna, be there uh. Second thing is gonna, be the 55 watt charging capability so that you have to take minimize break in between your gaming session and what charger you're telling right it supports this right.

But are you going to get that charger in the box? Yes, for sure we are not going to skip out on that. Okay, okay, it's going to be there. The third thing is extended ram feature uh. What it does is that with 8gb ram of variant you're going to get 3gb virtual ram or extended time in your phone, so total of 11 GB ram. So you can imagine you know how your gaming experience is going to be like so, at least by this.

We know that there'll be one variant with eight gigabytes of ram. Will there be any more variants, or we have to wait for those announcements? We had a lot of debate about that uh, but I cannot disclose much of details, but you know that with 11 GB of ram, the gaming experience is going to be next level. Yeah, okay, and it's going to be fully loaded again. I'm going to ask this question because I have to ask uh what is the expected pricing that consumers can expect for the z3, because you guys have been very aggressive with the uh. What do you say is seven, so transit uh I'll tell you one thing: uh with iq7 series we created a lot of ripples in terms of pricing and IQ? Z3 is not going to be any different in this one.

I can give you certain some amount of hint one is that it's going to go under 25k for sure uh second thing, with amazing uh platform offers with Amazon along with bank offers it's going to be super sweet in terms of pricing, so uh, let's wait till 8th of June, and you will get to know full details, but it's going to be great. Okay. Okay, okay, uh so uh, so these were the same of the questions that I had and government also said that we have some surprise or something and for us what is the surprise? So a total of two surprises. The first one is the first glimpse of the IPO z3. So this is the first time anyone is seeing this one right.

First time. Yes, yeah, I guess the title exclusive right. Yes, you can write. The nation wants to know also, okay, so guys this is the back of the haiku z3 that we are getting so interesting thanks, uh, thanks again for showing this one sure I hope you had a good glimpse of this and uh second surprise. So again, thanks for that those two surprises uh. Now I just wanted to ask you before you go quickly, uh some questions, because I've been getting a lot of questions. I asked on Twitter, so I know we can't answer a lot because of the limited time you have, but I'm going to ask three questions. The first one- and this is a generic question- that a lot of users had in the mind this was specifically from Aditya he's asking what different ICO is doing for the Indian consumers. Let me answer this question in multiple points.

Uh. The first thing is that we have a clear and a very razor sharp focus on performance right from day one uh. Since our inception, you know we have been uh churning out smartphones, which are the highest performing in terms of introduced core in terms of ram in terms of multiple uh parameters that you know which clearly proves that IQ has very high standard for performance and experience. Now, second, thing is: you know, right from day one also, we have been bringing 5g devices and all of those devices are made in India, so we are committed to 5g. We are committed to made in India, and we want to bring consumer the kind of experience the consumer want which has been generated and made in India for me for Indian consumers.

The third thing is that uh we learned a lot about consumer experience and expectations. Also and right now we are aggressively expanding our footprint in terms of after sales service network. Besides, so in the coming days, you know you will have differentiated experience in terms of uh, both uh after sales and product as well as uh OS. Okay. So that's how we are trying to you know differentiate ourselves in the market.

With these three points, which I just highlighted- uh, uh next question- I have again this is a question. This is from uh Gandhi, and I know many of the other users also had a similar question. So I'm just going to quote what he said: uh, yes, definitely a question for Mr Baroda. What he thinks uh for the OS on the future ICO devices is the same fun touch OS, or it may get better with some other variant or whatever sure, with iq7 series. We have introduced one touch OS, and it has come a long way.

You know that you know fun touch OS a lot Santa was a couple of years ago and this one completely different yeah. So today it is much closer to stock android UI. If you see default apps and notifications, they are quite close to you know in terms of look and feel to stock android uh. Similarly, to increase productivity and efficiency, there are some custom elements, but that's that has been kept to minimal, and they are quite intuitive also right. Similarly, uh.

This is a direction we will intend to keep for our UI uh for IQ smartphones. Also, so right now I can say that fun touch course is the way for us interesting. So, okay, last question: I know I will have limited time uh, and this is a question dragon that I got from so many users, and this is regarding uh android sub uh software updates and android security updates on IQ smartphones. So our policy is very clear on this one I'll give it in one line is that for our all IQ smartphones, we promised two major android upgrades and three years of security updates, so that has been a policy and that's true for uh all IQ series beat number series or read the z3, which is coming up. Oh interesting, so uh Gavin, thanks for interacting with us and taking out the time and looking forward to this z3 launch uh just curious uh.

Will this be an of course it's going to be an online launch? Will users be able to actually uh see that will how is it uh? Can you share some information, so transit I'll? Tell you one more thing about the launch event. It is going to be online, yes, but it is going to be in a very different format which has never been seen before.
