In Depth Review Of The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9t - 5G And Battery Champ

All right people: this is my in-depth review of the Xiaomi Redmi. Note 90. , please like subscribe and share. If you like what I do cheers so last year I saw the Redmi Note 8. I made an appearance and one appearance it made. In my opinion, it had all the right ingredients to make the number one budget choice, and it didn't disappoint.

Now, they've just released this, the follow-up, the note 90, but this time there's a 5g chip inside. So here is my review of this handset. I paid 149 pounds for it um, so just to let you guys know that's what my review was going to be based upon the fact it was 149 pound and the fact it's the cheapest 5g phone currently available so going offline. It's amazing for what you get at that price point. First, I'd like to talk about the feel of the device.

The phone feels light at 189 grams. It's got a plastic back and frame. It doesn't feel as premium. Let's say the 10 tea light with its glass back, but the 90 also has a nice rich feeling back, and it does actually make a lovely noise I'll be quiet for a second. So you can hear it lovely reminds me of my mere 20x to be fair.

There's currently, two colors on the market knight fall black and the Abrahamic purple. I've got the nightfall black here. The DBF purple has just been released at 179 pounds. I'm enjoying my UK so check that out. It's also on Amazon as well.

If you fancy that most prefer Amazon anywhere follow this video, it's got a 6.53 inch, IPS lcd it's 60 hertz, which isn't really a dealbreaker for me, but it may be for some uh as I'm more about battery life than anything. So if you want a high refresh rate, I'd recommend the Xiaomi meet 20 late and if you're after I like an AMOLED. Obviously I've just said this is an IPS LCD. I'd go for the 10 light and there's also a gorilla glass 5 on the front as well, which makes it nice and tough glass there. The camera me at the back is standard now for Xiaomi smartphones.

All look along the same at the minute, with a triple camera in the middle. The circular ring on the outside exactly the same as the mate 10 tea light, and it does look good if a little CME, in my opinion, there's no official IP written, but it does offer protection against splashes. So that's Connie. It's a Georgie word for you. There Connie there's a side mounted fingerprint sensor which I'll show you now it's very quick as you'd expect one.

Two three bang try that again, one two: three bang, almost instant, there's a front facing selfie calm with a little of light bleed, as is always the case with these budget devices. I'm not complaining this latest because, like I say it's budget 149 pounds, it is what it is uh so this year for the processor, they chose the MediaTek dimension chip, which is a 5g chip which I mentioned earlier clocks at 2.4 gigahertz and there's UFS 2.1 in the 64 gig wall, which is the one that I've got right now and there's UFS 2.2 in the 128 gig. If you need or require the extra speed, the processor feels good at this price point I'd say a perfect chip for the phone. The kind of snapdragon 690 5g chip gaming feels okay, the worst part is opening ups. In my opinion, which is always the worst part for me having multiple Chrome tabs open at any one time.

Looking see, I've got 14 opening at the minutes. Usually more um makes apps run a little slower and open a little slower. It takes longer than I would hope, but again at this pace very acceptable. I did some benchmarking for fits and giggles, and it came out in comparison to the 71 in single core and the same as a yoga f1 and multicore. It's not bad at all.

In my opinion, in fact, I'd say at this price: 149: pound, ear, 71 being over 300 pound company, pretty amazing, actually um battery life. It's probably the one that stand no point for me. I bought the phone, I'm going to be honest on the basis that I wouldn't be impressed at all and in my initial testing I wasn't getting along with a phone. I was telling friends I wasn't getting on with it felt a bit too slow, etc. , but over the course of the last eight or nine years, I've grown to love it and the battery was the key to that love.

It's got a 5 000 William of our battery. Remember yeah. I've taken me some out look just in case. I get any texts or anything. You don't want to say any of that, but uh there's a few screenshots on screen.

Now it might battery in a typical day and the first screenshot you'll see, has got at 9 00 a. m. I wake up at six o'clock every day, and I'm a very, very heavy user, so my screen is vertex on all day and the phone was at 93 percent. Second screenshot shows 12 pm which at that time was 69, which again is bloody brilliant, in my opinion, final screenshot at 9pm. Just before I go to bed like I say, I'm up at 6 a.

m every morning, so don't call me sad um it was on at 42 percent. Heavy use would take me into the afternoon the next day I reckon so simply brilliant battery it prob, possibly from my use, one of the best battery life I've ever had in a smartphone. If battery life is your one, one thing you need in a phone. I'd suggest this on a budget, and it comes equipped with 18, more fast charging, there's a 22 and a half watt charger on the box from flat. It takes around an hour and 45 minutes to charge the full which isn't bad at all.

Now I'll, I'll speak about the cameras, we've got an 48, megapixel main camera, two megapixel macro and depth sensor, and it's it hasn't gotten override on this occasion, which is a weirdo mission. In my opinion, it's a big grape from myself, because I take a lot of photos in a wide mood. So please show me and read me: please bring that back! I'd so appreciate it. The main camera is good, not great. The sensor needs a lot of light to take a good photo I'll, I'll put a few folders up there.

They don't look bad, but compression in video probably makes them look worse. Actually, um colors are pretty much flat. In all cases. Dynamic range is poor. Money manually trying to focus the 40s doesn't help, but accepting the price means accepting the middle income mid-range camera.

Sorry, I'm messing up there and, if you're thinking about taking nighttime shops, they're pretty I mean, I wouldn't say pollen, but they're- pretty poor and virtually non-existent really, but the main sensor does give good bulk effect with good edge detection, and basically I think that in every single journey you come across, you always take a good before a portrait photo so yeah, that's the cameras pretty good overall, but not for the photographers out there. Obviously, the main focus of this form was 5g, that's what they created the phone for that's what all the marketing buzz was about the dual 5g. In fact, it supports 5g and band 78, which is the main 5g band used here in the UK, the phone holds two sims, which are both 5g. Obviously I'll, put a little photo here. I'll show you in showing you the sim card tray, and it also holds a SD card which is nice for expandable storage.

Unfortunately, I couldn't test the 5g speeds that I couldn't get a 5g signal on or 2, even though I'm in a 5g area, which is funny well. That just shows how far we've come. There's USB type-c on board. If you can see it there, there is also a headphone jack. If you can see that there focus isn't there, we go USB type-c headphone jack.

It's got stereo speakers, one, two one infrared sensor, quite new is: if you lose your remote for your TV, it's got no notification later. Unfortunately, the phone is running me y12 with android 10 on top, and it's currently on the December security patch, which is good considering February. Now we should be getting the January patch very soon, uh again, there's plenty of bloatware pre-installed apps, if you like, which is annoying but easily hidden or removed, they make it pretty easy, the likes of Facebook and stuff you can delete, which you couldn't in the past right guys. So who would I say this form was for if you're after 5g speeds, if you have to steal about your life in NFC, I say: go for it, especially if you're on a budget tune upon well, 180, pound or under, but I'd say as an overall package. It's good 149 pounds is probably at the right price, in my opinion, anything more than that.

No, I wouldn't suggest in this latest I'd say if it's enough a faster phone, you want with better cameras, I'd, say, look to the mate 10 t late and, as I said earlier, if you're after a nice AMOLED display I'd, go for the mate 10 light. So that's it guys, thanks for watching stay tuned for my next video, comparing the note 9 t to the Poco f1 in a newer budget versus older flagship for a video thanks again for watching and please like subscribe and hit that notifications bell and share my channel thanks people bye.
