I REGRET Buying the iPhone 12 Pro Max - Here is Why! By Redskull

What's happening everyone, my name is Alex and welcome back! So I bought myself an iPhone 12 Pro Max after using the regular iPhone 12 for about three weeks. This is also my first Max iPhone. I've never had the max iPhone before. I usually just get the cheapest iPhone and I'm pretty happy with it. Well this year I decided to do something big and this is big the iPhone 12 Pro Max but after using this for a couple of days I regret buying it and spending the extra money compared to the regular iPhone 12. So in this video I'm gonna tell you exactly why I regret buying this and the real reason why I actually bought it.

So the regular iPhone 12 is a pretty good phone, it's affordable; well affordable for some anyways, it has the same great on screen as the 12 Pro Max, not size wise but the same oled screen, we have the same form factor we have the same fast cpu so overall I was very happy with the iPhone 12 with one exception and that was the battery life. When comparing the iPhone 12 to my old iPhone 11 i'm still using my old iPhone 11 the battery life on the 12 wasn't that great so that was one of the main reasons why I thought that the 12 Pro Max is gonna be the better fit for me and i was right the battery life on the 12 Pro Max is so much better than what we get on the regular iPhone 12. With this one it seems that it doesn't matter what I'm gonna do with it I will always have enough charge to make it through one day; something that I couldn't actually say about the regular iPhone 12 so I was very happy to see that. Now the second biggest reason or actually the biggest reason why I wanted to get the 12 pro max over the regular 12 is the improved main camera. If you've watched Apple's presentation they clearly said that this one has a larger sensor that can capture more light and it will also do better for image stabilization while recording videos and then I got the phone and I have to say there is literally no difference between the regular 12 and the 12 Pro Max for cameras when taking pictures or recording videos.

I've actually done a full camera comparison between the two and if you want to check out that video to see more sample pictures and videos I will leave a link in the video's description or the top right corner. And we are back so size wise the iPhone 12 pro max is big, a bit bigger than I actually expected so this is one of the biggest phones that i've had this is also quite a bit heavier than the regular iphone 12 this is about 64 grams and heavier. Now I have to say that I do like big screens it's so much easier when you watch a video if you edit something on it if you edit a picture on it it's really nice to have such a big screen but i feel that this is kind of like an ipad that you keep in your pocket but without the multitasking that you can do with an ipad so i feel that having such a big screen and such a powerful phone and not having any type of multitasking is such a missed opportunity, I mean the screen is big enough to to have like half of the screen opening the browser and the other half to have your email open.

I'm not talking about playing two games at the same time or anything crazy but i feel that this is such a missed opportunity with such a powerful up device so it's such a big screen it would have been nice to get some more additional features compared to the other iPhones but we don't because this is apple and this is ios also the stainless steel frame on this phone i think this is stainless steel looks really good when it's clean the phone looks super expensive looks super premium but as soon as you put your finger on it it doesn't look good at all and comparing this to the regular iphone 12 even though that didn't feel as expensive and as premium as this one it wouldn't leave these ugly fingerprints every time you touch it so yeah the stainless steel frame even though it looks good when clean not so good if you actually use the phone but like most people i'm probably gonna use the case on this phone because it is expensive i'm afraid it's gonna break if i drop it so realistically i'm never gonna see this frame unless i film another video like this and then i take the case off so yeah i am a bit disappointed about the 12 pro max because of those cameras. Personally i take a lot of pictures with my phone i take a lot of videos with my phone and the cameras are very important to me now don't get me wrong the iphone 12 does really good as well for cameras and it is an improvement over last year's iphone 11 but i literally bought this phone based on apple's presentation and the claims of the camera is better than the camera that we get on the regular iphone 12 the 12 pro and the 12 mini so i am disappointed and that's why i regret buying this phone because the cameras aren't as good as apple claimed that they would be i'm not sure if i'm gonna keep the phone now because that was literally the biggest reason why i got it. Unfortunately I sent my 12 back because I thought that 12 pro max will be the one for me but now I don't really know anymore because this was kind of expensive as well so i do find that presentation that apple did a bit misleading mostly talking about um cameras.
