I bought a knockoff iPhone 12 Pro Max...from WISH! ($170 i12 Pro) In-Depth Review & Teardown

Greetings everyone and welcome back to another video in the Irish series, a series in which I buy things off wish to see if they're any good or not most of the time they're. Not. I still don't think we've had one good item on wish so far, but hey you never know. I basically buy these items, so you don't have to- and this is all in the name of entertainment and basically letting people that don't already know that wish is just complete garbage anyways. There are people out there that do get advertisements for wish, especially on my videos that advertise great products for cheap prices and stuff like that and then in reality you go purchase it, and it's just a hunk of garbage. So this is the same case for this item.

The item I'm about to show you today that I purchased off wish is the most expensive product I've bought off wish, and it is based on a phone that has not been released yet and that my friends is the iPhone 12 Pro max, but except the uh wish version which I'm not expecting much. Now I am filming on the first of October 2020. The iPhone 12 has not been officially announced, yet there's speculation and there are leaks and all that sort of stuff. But it's not concrete. This iPhone 12 Pro max clone cheapo wish thing.

Well, it's not cheapo was 241 Australian, and it's been on wish for about a month, or so I have seen it pop up a few weeks ago and immediately bought it, because I know there's a lot of people waiting for the iPhone 12 and some people may think that the one on wish is an actual iPhone 12 Pro max or whatever it is, but it's definitely not. As always, I like to showcase the listing before we get into the actual device itself I'll display a timestamp on screen and also in the description for you to skip forward. If you want to skip past the listing and the silly pictures and all that sort of thing well here it is the smartphone i11 pro i12 pro max 4g 5g high version 6.7 inch smartphone full screen with 12 gigs, plus 512gb large memory, android mobile phone touchscreen dual card face fingerprint recognition, mobile phone for 231.97 Australian, with an uh supposed retail price of 4 394 crossed out there. The pictures that we have in the listing show that the phone should look like what the iPhone 12 should look like when it's released, except this one's a 6.7-inch full screen, 10, core 4g, plus 5g, plus 512, gigs of storage, 16, megapixel, front camera, plus 32 megapixel front camera and a 5 000mah battery. This claims to have a metal, integrated frame, the wide screen view and the high color reproduction make the screen look very high, and the fine quality is better.

Yes, fine quality is better. You can get it in golden gray and green. I chose golden because I have a 10s max. That's gold and I want to compare the colors another picture here. Claims it has the metal frame we'll see about that.

It does have 32 million HD rear cameras with Rubik's cube technology. That does a bunch of things, including focusing on die its, which I don't know what that is, don't think. We've ever seen that before, but alrighty the 16 megapixel front camera, the phone also packs 16 megapixel cell snap, before allowing you preserve your own smile or precious memory in outstanding clarity. Well, I'm very glad that it's the case then, and also look at the size of that notch. I reckon this thing's going to have ridiculously sized bezels, but hey prove me wrong.6.7-inch full screen like a drop of water on the screen. Each bright screen is yeah.

We've seen all this before, except we've got a 1440p resolution screen on this one. We supposedly have an under screen fingerprint scanner, but my reaction to that is pretty much summed up by this image here: 12 gigs, plus 512 gigs of flash memory. I don't know what the pictures are from here. I think one of them is from PUBG, but I cannot be certain the text here. We've seen on other phones before six reasons for recommendation for the i12 pro max 6.7 inch, it's got a metal frame, that's face I'd fingerprint I'd double wait. A second that says: newbie sim card Debby sim card and a 10 core media attack.

Six, eight, eight, nine ten cores, oh yeah, large polymer battery, allows you to stand by all day long right. Obviously I can't sit down while doing this fair enough quickly. Unlock with intelligent AI unlock, no need to glare in the dark environment. Still easy to read your face. Why is facing? Quotes dual sim plus dedicated micros card slot up to 128, gigs, expandable storage, but we've got 512, gigs of storage, presumed okay, fair enough, and of course we have the strong 10 core processors that can snatch red packets faster.

As always see. This picture by itself will mislead people to think that you're buying a premium product, especially with a higher price tag. But who knows this phone could be built like a tank for all. I know, and of course just here is the description. If you want to have a pause and read all this feel free, but I love the part at the bottom factory.

Direct sales, better quality, but lower price is our target and mission and then, finally, in this one, we've got the specs listed here, including the mtk6889 DECA core 1440p screen, 12 gigs of ram plus five 12 gigs ROM android 10 5000 William hour battery, but we have bands listed for the net work as just GSM and 3g the 4g and 5g bands aren't listed. Have we ever had a phone from wish? That's actually had 4g, I don't think we have and with a shipping time of two weeks, I've got this here according to the customs label. It's an i12 pro max, but the description is tops as in clothing or tops, is in tops, quality. Who knows, as I've mentioned, I buy things off wish, so you don't have to, and I buy off wish because it's a gamble. You never know what you're going to get half the time.

Well, all the time I've just deflated the air bubble inside that's, okay, do we actually have a box? That's got something on it this time, or it's just a white box as usual yep there. It is hanged on a second hang on a second quad camera, nothing else. It's like you're supposed to sign your name there or something like that. You know it's fine, nothing! On the side on the back, we've got stuff uh, nothing there yep on here we've got the i12 pro max, 12, plus 512, and a bunch of writing there. I'm not too sure what that says.

Someone will tell me what that says about 53 times down in the comment section and of course we have the back here, which um HD voice will be available. Only for your service provider supports that's found on Samsung devices. Isn't it that little warning that I think so, but this is probably the most exciting box we've got off wish, and it's got plastic wrap on it. That's exciting! All right! Here we go if we actually have a secondary camera on the back of the phone that'll be the best, but I don't think we will here go folks today, all right, that's a hefty device. I just had a peek at the bottom of it.

It kind of looks good all right inside the box, we have a lightning cable, um. Okay, we also have a pair of earphones, which are the old apple earphones, hey, they're, lightning, though I actually need some of these they'll, probably sound like garbage, but hey at least it comes with one, the charger here, which is just the travel adapter, which has got the Russian writing on it as usual and as always, we'll crack this open to reveal our cheap charger just there. Would I plug this in no, but hey everyone's different? If you want to blow your house up, feel free, but don't blame me, they even tried to print writing inside it. They tried it's basically just the text on here inside it, but oh that's, fair enough, and finally, we've got the case, the user manual and a sim eject tool there. We go that in there uh the mobile manual is probably the usual one.

Yep has nothing to do with the phone. Basically, it just tells you how to basically use a normal phone, the case itself, so I've got my iPhone 10s max here, and the case does fit my phone perfectly fine, but I think it's made for the iPhone 11 Pro max. I believe I've got a free case for this. So that's pretty cool, oh well, no well, the buttons aren't lined up but hey at least it fits there. We go folks, oh, what's that hiding the front here.

We've got this little foam piece just here: protecting the uh side button. Actually, it's more of a bronze color around there. It's also a fingerprint magnet. What's that there is that a fingerprint sensor or something I think, that's a fingerprint sensor. I wonder if it is the mute switch, does move side buttons feel click.

We got the antenna bands actually etched into the frame. We've got our lightning port as well as speaker, grilles, and we've got two pantalone screws holding it together when we tear it down we'll get to see if those screws actually do anything and yeah. On the other side, we've got our sim tray just here, which is a different color from the frame, but that's okay. We've got the side button at the top yeah fairly reasonable. Now the next part is what a lot of people do not like.

I just want to see that's a metal frame they weren't lying. I'm sorry I do that, but I just like to see what material it's actually made of plus this is my device, so I guess I'll do what I want with it, but what's this hiding? Well nothing. So this is glass on the back with like a frosted coating over it. So that's quite unique in regard to the gold of the 10s max and the i12 pro it's close. Even the actual color of the frames itself are very, very close.

We've got our four rear cameras right there, and you go ahead and debate amongst yourselves, which one's the real one out of these four that one the rest of duds. It looks like a single led flash there and what looks like a fake microphone grill just there. I wonder if we can pop this up oops. I was trying to pop that up to see if we could see the cameras, but no I'll just wait till the tear down, but this definitely does have the shape of the leaks. We've seen of the iPhone 12 with the whole iPhone 4, 5 body type go on.

Take this off. I was about to throw this screen protector out until I noticed that little gold sticker that I didn't pay attention to with that being on there. I think we already know what's going to be inside this thing at the top, we've got our front camera earpiece and what looks like just to be a sensor just in there and the bottom. You can barely see it, but the chin is just there before we go ahead and power. This thing on I'll, just pop out the sim tray and just see.

What's in here, oh yeah, that's machined, aluminum! Hang on a second, I just realized. Unless I'm dumb, the SD card doesn't fit on the tray. Did I miss something in the listing? Didn't it say it could? It did say somewhere in the listing that we have expandable memory, but no, we don't just like the real iPhone. We don't have experimental memory, all right, well, I'll, put a sim card that is capable of 4g and 5g in like so, and we'll go ahead and power. This thing on it's a welcome device.

Here we go audio 3 ready set, go, oh, it's silent, mute switch was uh was activated. That's all right. Android is starting, no setup, don't think so. Well, there we go well. At least you can see the bezel's a little better now so the chin just there and the notch up top.

It's not that bad. To be honest, obviously doesn't look like the pictures, but it's not too bad. So um we'll update the sim card. Sure thing- and this is all that's on the main screen- just that's it, and we've got the basic apps YouTube's on here chrome's, not on here, though, what's apps installed by default, we've got android pay as well. If this has NFC I'll use this, as my daily driver, we've got some icons at the top, which sort of somewhat look like iOS.

Just there scrolling down that looks like android 6, maybe seven, what happens if we go ahead and open android pay? Oh well, we'll connect to Wi-Fi soon. I think you can just install android pay on a phone that doesn't have NFC uh. Supposedly we have a FM radio as well on here which we will test, but I just want to go into settings real quickly, we'll go into Wi-Fi and see if I can get both my 2.4 gigahertz and 5 gigahertz networks, and it's 2.4 gigahertz only standard g board there as well. So it does not look like we've got NFC in settings. If we go cellular networks, preferred network type is 3g or 2g.

Okay, then, while we're off to a good start, then could have at least shown fake 5g somewhere. Well, I eventually stumbled across the fake 5g there you go legit coming to display and have a look at the wallpapers. Oh, yeah stolen off the iPhone. Oh, oh there you go. That's the one! We want we're going to have that the rest of them are all just the default ones off iOS stolen here, except we've got some trees and stuff.

Let's have that Apple logo. Why not? Because that um makes it feel a little more authentic, sound notification. So if we oh yeah okay, so if we flip that mute switch hang on a second, if you flip the mute switch down, it puts it on general. But if you flip it up, it puts it on silent or meeting that's completely fine, sound enhancement. We've got best solder and best loudness and best surround as well.

All the usual. I want to see the phone ringtones. Okay. I wonder if there's anything off iOS on here, it doesn't look like there are any sounds of iOS on here, but I'd have to probably check the file system and see if there's anything, let's go into apps and have a look at all. The system apps in here feel free to pause.

If you want, but I'll just scroll through here, I don't know if any of these are going to be dodgy, probably a lot of them. Who knows but feel free to tell me I'm just having a look see if I can see anything, or I can all say, lollipop: no, no lollipop, no marshmallow, no nougat! Oh, no standard system, UI marshmallow! Oh there, you go all right: fair enough storage and USB 512 gigs 17.2 gigs, already used up on what battery we've got approximately one hour and 37 minutes left. Remember: there's a 5 000 William hour battery in this thing: memory: 12 gig, yeah, okay, uh security. So what have we got here in security? Can we actually? Oh, okay? We can't do anything there. Maybe there's no fingerprint! It doesn't look like.

We've got fingerprint and security. Okay, we'll keep going accounts, google, language and input, backup and reset date and time all that sort of thing. Let's come straight to about phone. That's all! We want model number i12 pro max, android 10. Go on, see the Easter marshmallow hey.

We can play the free game, though there we go the Easter egg that you can never get more than two on I suck at that build number kernel version and base band version there. I may as well enable developer options. Why not there we go and, of course we have the usual serial number. Just there zero one, two three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine abide, nothing changes both IMF's are listed here. If you want to look them up, feel free, we'll, try a wireless update and see what happens um.

It says it's got wind 10 on it fair enough, so nothing there will come to system updates. Oh, okay and nothing. I tried I'll just have a scroll through developer options as well. If anyone wants to have a look at this, there's really nothing in here that I think I'd need to go through anyways, except for the window animation scale there we go. The phone feels faster.

Now, it's not! I don't know if you've seen it just there, but in wallpapers it said s health just there, but I had to change the wallpaper because it's not agreeing with my camera, unfortunately, but otherwise the system feels fairly responsive. You know not a lot of lags going on, but once we get into the benchmarks and testing, I'm sure it'll start to struggle. Having a closer look at the display, it's not too bad! It appears to be an IPS LCD as well, but it's not too bad. It's fairly reasonable for what it is, I'm going to call the phone and see what the quality of the earpiece is like. Oh, turns out.

I can't even call it. I just went to call the phone, and I've realized that there's no reception on this I'll try the other slot. Then I still don't have any reception. So I'm going to try another sim card and see what happens. Oh, there we go.

I think we've got something now nope still nothing. Oh, there we go. It finally kicked in all right. I'm going to call it now and see what happens testing. Oh, it sounds garbage.

Oh, god there you go! That's what it sounds like. It sounds pretty terrible. So for some reason it doesn't work with Vodafone. It works only with Optus. Telstra didn't even work in this.

It's a bit strange! Well now you can see that it looks sort of very iOS like just there, but obviously there's no iOS functionality. It's all just android. Well, I guess we'll just quickly take a look at the apps, then so email looks like that settings. We've already had a look at gallery. We've got nothing on there play store, we've got to sign in to a Gmail account I'll.

Do that clock looks like standard clock. Contact looks like that. Calendar looks like that. Calculator looks like that. It all just looks like android 6 at the moment, yep 512 gigs.

That means I'll have to connect this to my computer, that's fun! So that means we've got no music on here. No I'll have to put my own play movies TV YouTube, does YouTube open or do we need to update it? Yes, it needs an update. Uh FM radio does FM radio work, let's plug in those um those earphones. You can actually hear the speakers rattling around in those fake AirPods every radio station that I'm choosing is just static. Well, I'm glad that works downloads.

Anything in their nope maps search Facebook, Twitter WhatsApp. What does browser look like? Allow browser to take pictures and record video? No, no, no, no, so it won't open, but it's the usual Chinese one that we've seen before well. At the moment, we have no fingerprint no face unlock, no, nothing, it's snappy, and it does have some iOS icons up the top just there, but that's it. I paid 250 bucks for this. Hopefully the cameras make it worth it all: 32 million HD rear cameras, but that's got autofocus front.

Camera looks like, so it is the bare-bones software, like we've, seen on all the other clones before nothing new here, and we can have as in video as well as having it to find quality. Well, you know what I'm going to take a break for now, because this phone isn't that exciting at all. It's actually quite boring. I think the most exciting thing is when we get to these specs and benchmarking and teardown, but I'll go ahead and take some photos now display them all for you to have a look at and um we'll continue on so testing the main camera on the iPhone 12 Pro max clone thing from wish. Um it's a bit shaky, even though AIs is on it is a bit shaky.

Autofocus does work, it doesn't look half bad from what I can see right now, but when I have a look at the footage later, it'll probably look terrible. There are bees hanging around. So I have to be careful uh. Just look at that, though it doesn't do a bad job of focusing on got to toggle it manually, though, but at least it works, and we'll just pan across the brick wall. Just like that not too bad.

Could this be the best camera on a welcome phone? What do you think Stewart? Yes, no, no, okay, there's some actual lemons and these yellow flowers. Look at these. I mean it's all gone dark now, but it looks very, very nice, just the digital zoom shot like so that's four times kind of looks yeah. No, it doesn't look that good, and it's uh pretty overcast today, unfortunately and windy, but it's all right. We're testing the front, video quality on the iPhone 12 Pro max clone thing um.

It doesn't look too bad to be fairly honest bit shaky, no as going on here. Even though as is toggled on it's uh, it's not working. Does it have any autofocus going on no autofocus, but there you go not too bad. The back camera is a lot better. Obviously, and we are back from the camera test, I will admit that the rear camera actually pulled off some reasonably good photos.

For example, frog01 here has quite a lot of detail in him, so this may be the best camera we've had in a welcome device. The front one is actually quite terrible, but the rear one has actually pulled off some half decent ones, like that's pretty nice as you've. Seen in the video that's kind of another story, though all those photos were taken with HDR off when you toggle that and try to take a photo. It just basically stalls for about 10 to 20 seconds before taking the photo and then, when you go look at the photo, it's just all blurry, because you've moved around a little tiny bit, so that's kind of useless and also with the front camera. I never tried beauty mode, but I assume it would just make your face.

Look a little blurry and that's about it. So camera wise yeah, it's reasonable. It has been a couple of days since I was last filming, and I've basically just been putting all the apps on I've just been preparing to get to the testing phase of the video and pretty much an hour of putting apps on killed the battery. It was dead, it was about at 75 and then by the time I was done with all the apps and stuff. Furthermore, it was pretty much beeping at me telling me to charge it.

So that was fun also. I connected it to a computer, and this is what displayed yeah, that gold sticker on the front was uh was telling the truth. I have a feeling. Well, I think what we should do now is: do the browser, YouTube and speaker test, so I'll start with the browser I did put Google Chrome on here just for the whole simplicity of it, but um. Let's just do allow for everything.

Okay, let's go to google there we go. Okay, that's um! That's that's great: let's search up iPhone, 12 and see what comes up there. We go that's not too bad and uh. We can see that what I hold in my hands is basically what we see in the leaks. Basically without the Apple logo on we have an extra dead camera on the back, which is fine, that's completely fine, but no internet browsing seems to work.

Why is it using yahoo powered by Bing? I don't know, but I did try. Google Chrome, and it was reasonable, as we've come to know, with welcome devices they're, not the most reliable thing ever and, of course, with the YouTube test, we will do the usual Costa Rica in 4k. I will link the creators of the video down in the description below. Please have a look at that video because it's always a nice video test, because it shows a colors b if we can do 60fps or see if we can even do 4k, which that's not going to happen, there's a tick-tock ad, oh god, all right. Oh dear lord, that's in like 140 p, oh dear, it is 720p at 60fps.

All right we'll go on we'll bump it up come on there we go. Oh, it's uh, it's a bit laggy! You know! Oh, we can make it fit to the screen there. You go but um yeah, it's its just a little. Laggy 480p will be fine, maybe even 720p, but not 720p 60fps. The colors do look slightly reasonable, though, for what it is.

I think in terms of the LCD, it's probably about the same quality. As the note 10 clones that I had a look at a while ago, probably about the same, because that was not a bad screen. If I recall correctly, if it can't do 1080p 60fps, you know you might have a slight issue and if it lags on 720p at 60fps, you know you might have a slight issue. So the specs, obviously I wish, are completely false, as we all expected: anyways. Okay, so we'll do the audio test.

So we'll jump straight into music. Where I have BFG division twice. Why do I have BFG division twice because one is a mp3 and one is a flac or whatever they call it? So I'll. Do the mp3 one I just want to see if there's a jump in audio quality, so I'll bump it up all the way that sounds fairly close to a tin can to be fairly honest. There is no dual speaker config thing, because the earpiece is only an earpiece and yeah.

The bottom one is like a tin. Can that's fair enough, go to the FLAC one or flak and that actually plays? We got slightly improved audio quality, of course, because we're playing a flip flak file. Whatever it's called it's its either one and the speaker still sounds pretty crap, and we only got to 101.1, which is a radio station here in Australia. Well, audio-wise. It can't be that bad.

Can it've just plugged in the earphones that came with the phone, and I'll go ahead and see if the button plays it? Oh yeah, it's playing it already. Oh god, no everything's a tin can today and, as I said, the speakers are just rattling around inside the free earphones, but hey they're. Free well, can I say free if I pay 250 bucks. For this thing I don't know anyways uh yeah audio wise average, like on every other, welcome device. To be fairly honest.

I think we've had maybe one device- that's been reasonable, but the rest of them have been absolute garbage. I think we'll be moving on to the gaming test next, but I did jump through settings again and had a look through that, and I cannot find any fingerprint stuff or face ID or anything like that. So no idea, what's going on in my tools, folder, I have a bunch of apps here. I've got a mix of benchmarking, specs and the games. I've got is Minecraft, trial, GTA, 3 and Call of Duty.

The problem was that Call of Duty did not come up on the play store. So if that gold sticker is correct, that says 2, gig, plus 16, gig or just 2 16. Call of Duty should have come up on the play store, but no it didn't see. So I had to side load it on, so we'll see if it runs. I think we'll start with Minecraft trial first, because it's a relatively easy one to run.

Most of the time, I think the part that I'm really waiting for is to tear this thing down to see, what's inside, of it, obviously a motherboard and a battery and all that sort of thing, but I want to see how it's laid out if it's laid out like every other one or if it's different, if there's a hidden SD card slot in here that I'm not aware about, or something like that, I don't know I guess we'll see. Just while Minecraft is loading, I can feel the back of the phone getting pretty warm right in this area. Here, of course, it's all right. It's fine uh! It runs that's a positive, but it's uh. Furthermore, it's a bit laggy.

If only I had some TNT we'd be able to truly test what happens. Minecraft's trial does run well, Minecraft, just in general does run, but it's going to be uh, just a tad bit laggy. It definitely doesn't like those big chunks of land but uh. That's that's perfectly fine. All right, then I guess we'll fall to our deaths and play GTA 3.

Then I heard something in the back. Oh hello, look coming to GTA 3. I will put everything on max for just reasons. I guess we want the full experience draw distance, we'll put up screen resolution put up, and visual effects will do high dynamic shadows, we'll put on, and frame limit will take off with all that in place, see what happens. It's going to be laggy, of course, but I kind of expected that maxing out the whole thing.

Actually, that's not really that bad I mean considering GTA 3 can play on potato PCs. It should run on this. I still love those audio clips. I don't know how many times I've heard this radio a bit at the start so many times. Well, it runs if this runs I'd say.

San Andreas would probably run as well on here, but I don't know- I probably should get San Andreas on here to test it, but no, it seems to be fairly reasonable. Let's just go ahead and do some sick jump like that. There we go right into the ocean, and we're dead. That was fun. I actually should do GTA 3.

First then Minecraft, then we'll try Call of Duty which, as I said, I've side loaded on here. So I have a feeling- it's probably not going to run, but we'll see. Okay, we'll do that. Yep! Yes, yes, well, the phone's getting really hot at the top. Now all right purple scrap, oh! If it does a purple screen, we know it's not going to work.

Oh, that's! Fine! Our device probably won't run. That's it purple screen yay. I tried I wanted to see if it would run and yeah no and no matter how long you have it at this purple screen it does nothing. It will just hang on here for as long as you want to have it on this. I've only been filming for 20 minutes, and before I started, I made sure this was at 100, and I think it's probably like at 75 now, no it's at 73.

As I said once, I was loading all the apps and stuff on it. It just died like that. So it'll be interesting to see what battery is inside this thing, but we can start to have a look at the specifications of the device, so I want to do the geek bench 4 benchmarks, which is the geek bench 4.3 version. Geek bench 5 wasn't available on the play store, so I just stuck with 4.3 and uh mt6580 android 6. They're still using it.

After all this time they are still using the mt6580. I have a feeling, that's never going to change and coming to compute. We can see it's a Mali 400 mp with a 720p display which a 720p display isn't that bad, but on a 250 device that claimed it had a 1440p screen, yeah, okay, but then again we don't believe anything. I wish uh battery wise, nothing there as well. We can do a battery benchmark, but no it's fine it'll probably die before I even hit battery benchmark, so we'll do the CPU benchmark.

Actually this may even kill it, and we'll see what score we get, and I'll compare it to the other welcome devices. I've run geek bench on if geek bench somehow runs I'll, keep it on life support. Just in case holy holy that took a long time, 412 and 1097 multi-core, so I'll display a comparison just here from other welcome devices that we have tested and scrolling down just a little. We can see android 6, 1.93 gigs of ram, so two gigs CT six, five, eighty-six cores and four calls there. Well, it's only a quad-core and uh yeah the results.

I think that test took about 20 minutes. I also can't run a virus test on this because yeah that won't work either I could slide load an APK, but because mower bites is only a trial. Furthermore, I don't think that would work. Furthermore, I don't know, as we all know, with wish slash welcome devices. We don't trust anything on them at all, and I have a feeling the virus test would come back with some false positives, but who knows at this point in time we'll go ahead and check out some spec applications, so I'm going to start with ants through two first, because I haven't checked that in a while and in their two, we basically see all the fake specs in here, including the storage and CPU type, and all that sort of thing.

Let's do the multi-touch test. Why is that all the way over there for one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine ten yep, that's probably the best one we've ever had and all these sensors that are supported and aren't supported are all there all right, CPU z, go on CPU zed, whatever same thing: uh 1.3, gigahertz, fair enough still showing fake specs show us an 8.2-inch screen, yeah right, fair enough, uh yeah, pretty much nothing in here, so we'll try another one. Try the one that usually shows everything. This isn't device info, android, i12 pro max 6580 android. Six here we go.

This is the stuff that we want yep, six five, eighty ten cores but active cores is only four. It's only a quad-core Mali 400 mp, the internal memory still says 512 or 524, actually ram still shows 12 gigs in display. It shows it's a 5 inch at 720p. Furthermore, it's not 5 inches it's about 6.7 inch, but at least we know that it's an um 10 point multi-touch, that's kind of cool in battery. We don't have anything to.

Let us know what the actual capacity of it is. Thermal is basically nothing. Sensors are just the three basic ones and the cameras we have the 13 megapixel rear and the front is an eight megapixel one. The rear one isn't too bad, as I said, but the front one isn't exactly the best. That's to be expected all right, we'll come to device info hardware, that's actually showing some fake stuff, but we do have the ram as two gigs and the flash size as 16 gig gold stickers on the front was correct the whole time.

So there you go uh system on shift is incorrect. Marshmallow is correct in there, though, and the ram and flash storage being only two gigs and 16 gig cameras. You can have a look at the specs of the cameras if you want to feel free battery reckons five thousand William hours, but yeah we'll get to that thermal. It's still quite warm at the top. At the moment, it's cooled down considerably from the gaming test, but it's still a little warm and sensors.

Pretty much. Nothing will work because there's only a total of three of them in here all right, one last one is droid info just to see. If we can see anything else, I don't think we need to confirm anything else to be fairly honest.720P display system, mt6580 ram, is still 12. Gig internal is 16 gigs of storage yeah, I'm pretty sure we know what's going on. Why is there an ad I've of wish, of course, of course, get away? Camera features no NFC listed thermal battery and I think that's about it.

Well at this point we know what's running in this thing. No surprise it's not what's described on wish that we all knew that was going to happen, but I don't really want to go into a conclusion just yet, because I want to tear this down and see what's going on inside this thing, I will go ahead and power. This thing off then, because we'll do the teardown and then do the conclusion bye bye. Actually, no, we need it this way. So we'll take the sim card tray out.

The real question is: are these screws actually legit? We actually have legit screws, that's a surprise. Some of them are just molded straight into the frame, but now these are actually screws holding down. I assume the display. Oh yeah, that just pops it right out. This is unique.

Look I managed to switch the device on that's okay. There we go. I ended up managing to do it. I will power this thing off though there we go. It opens just like an iPhone, so I kind of made a bit of a mistake on my part.

I just decided to pull the screen off like so and uh. In doing that, I shouldn't have probably done that because it's not supposed to be taken apart this way. At least we get to see the ribbon just there for the LCD, and we get to see the little notch just there, and we can see the front earpiece and stuff like that, but yeah no there's actually screws holding it on uh, whoops. Okay, that's, okay, I'll! Just put it back down into place, and we'll pretend this never happened. There we go see, wouldn't even know okay, so it does open this way.

I just assumed it would disassemble the other way. Oh yeah, okay got it. That's fine, see wow, okay, 2600 William hour battery in here and there's the SD card slot just there. Well that was interesting. So the question is: can I lift this camera bump out yet or not? Probably not there we go.

Oh okay, it's fine see we got it machined aluminum just there. So we get to see the rear cameras all the duds and the stickers over the flash. Just there we go there. It is just there. Your three rear cameras, all integrated on a piece of plastic, wouldn't be funny if there was like a hidden, headphone jack in here.

No, that's not there's the loudspeaker just there and the sub board looks a little something like that. Nothing too exciting, going on there. After all this time, the frame is actually metal. It's a solid chunk of metal. So that's actually quite interesting.

Obviously, I can't disconnect the battery that's fine. We can go ahead and take the rear camera off. Okay and that's the rear camera just there. It does not have is I'll have to take a photo of the codes on this as well the front camera. Is that tiny little thing just there? That's it.

I love the earpiece of this. They just grab one that uses contacts and then solder wires on it, because you know we need to reuse parts. That's fine! How easy is the battery to remove okay? Actually, I may not be able to remove the motherboard because of this just here I have a feeling these go. Yeah, these go to the volume flex uh. I can pull off the shielding from the back.

However, there we go, that might be a little easier to work on now, but I'm having a look at it all again, just to make sure there is actually a metal frame in here I'll lift the shielding out now, and we'll see. What's underneath here, of course, if I can alright. So after all of that, I did get the shielding off, and we can see the MediaTek mt6580 in there, as well as the Samsung flash module. I did take a photo of the rear camera as well, so I'll have a Google of that and see what that comes up with, but otherwise yeah we've got the big metal frame. That piece just here also serves no purpose.

I thought it maybe would have been a side mounted fingerprint scanner, but unfortunately it's not it's just a cutout for likely a sim tray, because this metal frame is probably repurposed from something, and they just left that indentation in there I've got no idea. I think we'll just leave this piece of speculation, and you can debate about what it's meant to be. It does make sense to hold the screen down with screws at the top, unlike iPhones, where it just sort of clips into place. You know actually having screws kind of does make sense, so that's kind of a good innovation, I suppose, but the rest of it's pretty much garbage. I suppose I think I know what's going on here, so I'm going to go ahead and put it back together.

It'll be interesting to see if this does all still work. It still works, that's kind of cool and finally, we'll just stick the back glass on like so done. I thought I would have killed it, but nope it's uh. It's perfectly fine! Okay, well um Ben test wise. It survived.

It is slightly bent now, but you can just do that. Uh! Oh, hang on! Oh, there we go there. We go that's better. The positive is it does have that metal frame, but it's fairly weak. If I apply just a bit more pressure to it, I reckon it probably would snap, but I'm not going to do that, because I need to keep this device working for scientific purposes or something if you would like to read the specifications of the i12 pro feel free to have a look here to see all these specifications listed, I'm fairly confident with all of that listed, but yeah mt6580, two gigs of ram 16 gigs of storage, looks pretty much what the iPhone 12 Pro max is going to look like, but otherwise it's just a run-of-the-mill welcome device, nothing different from any other one.

That's on wish at the moment, they're all basically the same one gig to two gigs of ram single rear camera running an outdated version of android, with probably a bunch of viruses in it. Who knows no advertised fingerprint or anything like that, which is disappointing. I wanted to do that a couple of times, and we could have unlocked it with your wrist or wherever, but now overall 250 bucks on this. Please, if you want to keep your sanity, do not purchase this or any mobile phone tech product or whatever off wish. It's all garbage they're made of random cheap-ass parts thrown together, and you know I've paid this premium, so you don't have to I've, went through the torture of having a look at this.

So you don't have to I've showcased everything I can with this device, and all I can safely say is I reviewed a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 for 150 us dollars and that's about 20 million times better than this thing. But I suppose, if you wanted to have a phone, that kind of will look like the iPhone 12 Pro max and have it before your friends actually get the real iPhone 12 and go hey boys. I got an iPhone 12. Looking thing here, you go, it's got four cameras. It looks perfect.

You could do that if you wanted to, but with the launch event on October 13th. As far as I know, it's confirmed for October 13th, please just don't go and wish thinking. You're actually going to get an iPhone 12 off there for 250, Australian or about 200 us, or something like that, because it's just not going to happen. While this still is a welcome device with the crappy, specs and stuff, the camera wasn't bad on this, and the notch and bezel size isn't bad, and the construction isn't bad, but the rest of it is pretty bad. This might rattle some bones, but it's kind of like the guys who are making this are taking away features as well, like the fingerprint, the headphone jack they're, taking everything away, they're following suit of apple.

What are you guys doing? We want more features, even if they're fake, it's still funny to point at them, and also we have a FM radio which was also a positive, even though it didn't work, but it's still on here and also just a full disclaimer. For this whole entire thing, I do not endorse these sales of replica products, knock-off products, whatever I am just showing you not to buy crap off wish, because this is what you will get in saying that if you are curious, you can have a look at them on wish. If you want just type in i12 pro, and they'll uh they'll all come up for you to have a laugh at if you want to, but otherwise I think I've shown what I need to show. I think I've talked about what I've needed to talk about. The main purposes of these videos are for entertainment, but as well as letting people know that just don't trust anything off wish as tempting as it may be.

Sometimes it's always too good to be true. Thank you very much for watching this full comprehensive review of the i12 pro max thing from wish, and I hope you did thoroughly enjoy this video for what it was. I was very intrigued when I have seen this, and at least next year, we'll be all looking forward to seeing what the i13 pro max thing looks like. That will be exciting. It'll be interesting to see what the actual iPhone 12 range will look like and if it's anything close to this, so we'll just do a little of this, and we'll just do a little of this and a little of that I'll.

Do that and that, and we'll do perfect and there you go. It is more legit than ever all right! Everyone thanks very much for watching. I really do appreciate it. This was a fairly fun video to do and if you want me to buy something off wish, so you can all have a look at it and have a laugh at it. Let me know down in the comments below, and I'll check it out and see what happens.

But once again I really do appreciate the support with the channel, and I am still working on a bunch of projects, so hopefully I'll get them out as soon as possible. All right everyone is good. People, take care, stay, safe, and I'll, see you all in the next video. It's real man, it's legit where'd, you buy it wish how much 200 bucks? Oh sweet, that's cool! Yeah! I customized it see nice if you like, this content feel free to leave a like or a dislike. If you didn't thank for watching, and I'll catch, you all in the next video.
