So Huawei launched the harmony OS 2.0 developer beta on December 16th, allowing Chinese developers to test the home-grown platform on selected Huawei phones. The company also said that the first harmony OS phones would launch next year, despite the U. S. sanctions, disrupting Huawei's supply line. The company is on track to launch the p50 phones in the first quarter of 2021. So, according to one of the most trusted sources, the Huawei p50 will be officially equipped with harmony OS, adding that the device is expected in first quarter of 2021. In other words, this could be the first flagship Huawei phone to receive a pre-installed version of the home built operating system. It's unclear whether this would apply to all Huawei p50 series phones and whether it would apply to specific regions.

So a smartphone's running the platform is still going to have app support comparable to Huawei phones without Google integration.
