Huawei P40 Pro VS Samsung Galaxy S20 - SPEED TEST

What's happening everyone, my name is Alex and welcome back to a new speed test. For today, we have the latest and greatest from Huawei Diwali p40 Pro and the latest and greatest from Samsung the Samsung Galaxy S 20, so the OEP 40 pro it's using the Karin 990 processors and 8 gigs of ram where this Samsung Galaxy s 20 it's using the snapdragon, 865 and 12 gigs of ram. So we do have more ramen on this device. So in this video we're going to do a bit of video editing, so you can see which device does better for video editing. I'm also going to show the score on the end to benchmark and after that, we're gonna start opening the exact same apps at the exact same time, so we can see which device is faster and which device keeps more apps running in the background. So I'm going to start by showing you that I don't have any apps running in the background or not either device so no apps on either and, let's start by checking on the score on the an tutu benchmark.

So here the Samsung Galaxy s 20 gets a higher score. So you get five fifty-four thousand versus five hundred and five thousand just in case you're wondering- and these are the five G versions of these two devices, so we'll close the an tutu benchmark from the background- and we are gonna start by doing a bit of video. Editing and I have the exact same video file on both devices. It's a 4k video file, so we'll open the full video shop, app kind of in the same time, I'm gonna, say so- will import that video file. So it's the first one here, the second one, actually, the 45.

Second one we'll press down on both, so I believe it was faster on the Samsung Galaxy S 20. Here we are going to trim. This video I'll try to make it about 20 seconds. So when the 19- let's try doing the same thing on this one so about 2017, so close, some close enough I guess, so we're going to press the green button, so the Samsung Galaxy S 20, is definitely a bit faster at trimming that video file we're going to press next and share I'm going to shoot it. We have the same setting, so you have 1080p on both, and we are going to save to camera roll, so the Samsung Galaxy S 20 is definitely faster at exporting that video, so wait for the p4 EEPROM will close this ad I guess and this one, and we are gonna, leave that app running in the background.

So we don't have any other apps. We just have that app running in the background, all right, so next we're gonna, open Facebook to see which device is faster, I couldn't tell which one was faster. Maybe this one but they're pretty, pretty fast, both of them next we're going to open Instagram once again kind of at the same time, mom I'm gonna, say so. Let's do that, and we'll leave that one running in the background as well. Next, we have Firefox mm kind of.

In the same time. Maybe this one was a bit faster, we'll open the exact same article I think the test 20 was faster at opening that done article we'll leave that running the background as well, we'll open Spotify, the same time Twitter my couldn't tell which one was faster. To be honest, maybe the s20 just a tiny bit, so Twitter will leave this running in the background as well. Next, we have asphalt 9, so we'll see which device starts. The game sooner.

I think that more so the s20 was a bit faster at opening this game. Okay. Next we have Call of Duty, let's see which one is faster for this game looks like the s20 will be faster, so I guess the s20 was faster at the opening that game as well. Alright, so we'll leave this running the background. Next, we have Snap seed and I have the exact same picture on both devices this one, it's kind of the same time, I would say, and the last app is going to be Canva I believe that the p40 Pro was faster for our data.

Now, let's see what happened to all those apps that we have running in the background, so in the exact same spot same spot, the exact same spot, Call of Duty same spot, Snap seed same spot and Canva so same spot. So I'm going to say that the s20 is a bit faster, at least for video editing and for opening a couple of games, but a bit faster till you have it done. This is the p40 pro and the s20, if you do have any questions, feel free to leave a comment down below.
