Hello people and welcome to be tech David here, and it's probably going to be my last one from Eva I've, had a few deliveries today, so we're going to crack on with some normal reviews very soon, but for now, I'm going to take a look at some mid-range and smaller brands to see what they have in store for us in the last part 2018, but first I want to say a big thank you to our sponsors, Direct Mobile's, for supporting Tech. These guys are experts in phones and have over 23 years of award-winning customer service, plus a great selection of the latest and greatest handsets to choose from check the description below for a link to their website or search therapy mobile co UK. So the BlackBerry key to LE was launched at a finish year, a more affordable version of the 2018 flagship. The key to, if you saw my review of the key to you'll, know that even though the Isles was never a fan of the physical keyboard, I went in with an open mind and actually enjoyed using their Benchley. It's a nice device, but probably not worth the asking price due to it, not really having 2018 flagship components. So a cheaper version sounds like a good idea right.
Well, theoretically, yes, but going through respects I'm worried that they may have cut too deep physically. The key to LE is smaller and lighted in the key to make sense. Given that it's a budget version, the body has a plastic construction instead of the aircraft grade, aluminum that featured in the key to, but it still has a nice feel I like it in the hand, but I did find it a little less comfortable for typing with my pecans, but I. Don't think that will be a problem for most people. The key to LE is running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, with 4 gigs of RAM and 32 gigabytes of storage.
A 64 gigabyte version is also available, so a slight downgrade in speed from the 660, with 6 gigs of ram running in the key tooth. But if the 6 3 6 can keep things moving swiftly, then I don't see a problem. Less Ram shouldn't be an issue. Eva has 4 gigs of RAM Z's, really plenty for any smartphone to be getting on with they trim back the camera as well. Instead of 2 12 megapixel sensors, now opting for a 13 megapixel main that by a 5 megapixel for portrait style, shots again, I don't really have a problem with that nobody ever bought a key to for its camera.
You still get the same 4.5 inch, IPS LCD screen and the excellent blackberry security features and apps the BlackBerry Locker allow you to save photos and documents directly to a secure part of the device, but the part that I wish they'd downgraded from the bigger key to is the battery. It's now a 3000 William hour cell in the key to early, given that one of the big draws for the key to is the 2-day battery life. It would have been nice if the LE could have made the same claim. Having said that, with the slower hardware, it'll be interesting to see what kind of battery performance this phone is offering, I might not be as critical of this phone if it wasn't priced in the bracket. That's in the key to early cost 349 pounds.
Yes, a good deal cheaper than the key too, but it's still up against some serious competition, such as the Nokia, 7 plus, or even a Nokia 6.1 450 pounds less. You can get hold of a Nokia 6.1 with very similar specs 5.5 inch, IPS LCD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, four gigs of ram 16 megapixel camera and a 3000 William hour battery, or you can go for the new HTC. U 12 life now I'm a fan of HTC phones. So are these I'd probably go for this one? Here we get a 6 inch, IPS LCD screen with Full HD plus resolution and an 18 by 9 aspect ratio, 6 gigs of RAM, with a Snapdragon 6:36 128 or 64 gig storage options, plus expandable storage up to 512 gigabytes, not to mention a 16 megapixel camera with depth, sensor, 4k, video and a very nice three thousand six hundred million power battery I. Like the look of the HTC, the bezels are not a problem for me and I like the laser etched, the texture cut into the shiny back.
It looks like glass, but it's acrylic, so it should be hard wearing the selfie camera has a 13 megapixel sensor with an F 2.0 lens and a LED flash expect the camera to be very good on this device. Given the excellent camera system on the flagship you are plus and HTC's history, that's probably why I'm a fan, so I hope this one doesn't disappoint. If you're a fan of the physical keyboard, then I can see why you'd be interested in spending. The extra the key to LE doesn't have that touch sensitive keypad, but if you're most comfortable with the QWERTY keyboard, then this is the cheapest way to get one. But for me that week a battery could be a deal-breaker, but we'll have to see how it stands up in a review.
I'll be looking to get both of these phones in the studio for four reviews very soon, and let me know in the comments below. Are you a fan of the physical keyboard, and would you pay over the odds to get one, but then I? Guess there is the security features to think about as well. Personally, I'd rather have a big screen and a good camera. Okay, that's it from me for today, if you like this, video hit the like button and subscribe hit, a notification bell to get more videos on the latest phones, I'm David, one man- and this was beat.
