Hi guys this is vernier and a happy HTC u11 for a quick unboxing. So let's actually see I think the Wi-Fi is a little poor hi guys this is THT Cu Kevin. We have it for a quick unboxing. This is the radial package which is actually going in sale in Taiwan, so HTC flew me in 2000. For this event me and a lot of other journals here in the city of Taipei Taiwan, so here's a radial box and hang on. Let's take a look at the box, so here we have.

It also has a knife here: a makeshift knife, it's actually 12 p. m. or rather 12 a. m. in Taipei and here's the box itself of the device so 2 dual SIM struggles by it variant of the device, as you can see the specs here and oh yeah.

So this is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 5, probably the first phone to actually ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 5. So let's wait for some more of you folks to join, and before we go in to the damn. So this is bad internet here in some actually, the hotel Internet is, so I'm like trying to tether on to my mobile connection now so hope you guys can see the frame now. So maybe it's not hanging any more I've set half line, so let's actually get into the unboxing real quick. So that's pretty much it so yeah, so let's actually get in so waiting for you guys.

So let's open up this box here. So you can see this is a kitchen or a fruit knife I have in this room. So if you guys any, have any questions to keep them very. Don't ask the questions now, while we are actually unboxing it. Let me get out of the plastic and so here's a box, so you can see the specs are on the back and so give me a quick second.

Let me just turn one more light: yeah. So it's middle of the night yeah. So it's a little dark. So this is going to be priced at about seven forty-nine I think euros in the an in Europe. So it's going to be priced.

I mean slightly similar in India. Roughly about fifty fifty-five thousand- hopefully it's better than the s8, so let me stop talking and actually open the box. Hopefully it's around 50 k, so there's a seal on the back. Just me. This opened this up from mostly layout with the IMEI numbers and everything just Hangul that sorry for keeping guys waiting.

It's just that a little too keyed open this box. I, don't have, are you sure knife since just and I thought it will be? It will take some time for us. So here you go so this is the box itself and the phone, the will even sitting on the left here, beautiful, looking phone, you will see more of it once I. Take it out. I am sure you guys saw earlier video of the 11, the hands-on video.

So this is the kind of the unboxing, so you get the new 11 its code named ocean, so the name came about because so yeah it's about. Well, then I am in Hong in Taipei right now. This is the amazing silver color of the device, as you can see here, and it's made in Taiwan. So, let's keep this aside for a quick second and take a look time right now in Taiwan. So the time here is about mm well, 18, but good for you guys up because only nine 48 in that evening.

So yes, the power adapter, is actually supporting quick charge.3.0 I'm, not sure if you guys can see it. Oh, it's upside down, I'm right now in PI, 1, so yeah! So here's the not sure if you can see any of the ratings here. Okay TI says quick charge, 3.0 Qualcomm, so yeah here we go, so this is the USB type-c type, a Type, C cable. The phone is a Type C you'll notice, there's no headphone jack as well. It's beauty, 4.2, hang on to your questions in one quick break for some time. So I'll answer all the questions.

I'll just get done with the unboxing, so this is a Type A to type C for charging with the power adapter, so quick charge, 3.0 Raptor and since it does not come with regular, your phone's, some HTC is doing something fascinating. So they are bundling. You Sonic your phones and these are types earphones, and they also have active noise cancellation, which is interesting, also they're, muddling up your tips, and you also get her type c2 like a converter from type c2. So let's go ahead and open this up, so you have most of you. So you also get a case like a crystal case.

Answering the phone does get magnets. I mean fingerprints easily. You also get a case yeah simple case, which is nice, and you also get an adapter to convert your type C to use a regular headphone, and there is a simple. Let me actually quickly go to the phone and then come back to the contents of the box. So let me actually get rid of this plastic. So here we go all right. You guys can hear it. The plastic can't wait to squeeze the phone.

It's called a squeeze feature if you guys know easy sense. Okay, let me get this out and this is the front I'm, not sure you guys are looking for the front, that's the back, which is most impressive on these phones. This is the amazing silver really amazing. Really so it looks silver. It looks.

Blue looks black Wow, so it's really nice, and it's reflective- and this is the camera on the back, a 12, megapixel, Delta, pixel, 3 camera f1 points and aperture dual LED flash the front. We have a 16 megapixel camera as well, and so, let's actually quickly put up the phone and while it's booting up, it's got a 5.5 inch. Quad HD 2k resolution display and it's got I think Korean Corning, Gorilla, Glass 3 on the front 5 on the front and 3 on the back. It's got 3d curved glass as well on both front and the back. It's got really nice rounded edges all over, and it looks very brilliant.

SPC makes some great products. So, let's get into the camera once we put up the phone, and it's in heading Chinese. So let me change it to English. Hopefully, there's English, okay, it's a pretty cool animation yeah. So let's go Terms of Use.

Let's put all s agree, don't even bother all this with all this. Let's actually do all that later, let's actually get into the phone come on oops, okay, let me actually show you the edge sense. So basically, the enchant is a cool feature, so you can actually squeeze the phone to basically do something so that simply squeezing it. You see that, so that's the coolest feature for me in this phone. You can actually squeeze it to do something and X second, so you can actually catch the squeeze level, so you can actually set the level and do it.

So let's do that so next hit, so you can see squeezed to fill the two balloon. So it's pretty cool later done, and this is really crazy feature. Nobody has done it. So HTC is doing some really cool stuff here set census ready is a fingerprint sensor is below the display. So it's only like the home button, like on the s8 which I hate right now we'll be using the s8 shooting this video with BS a lovely camera on it, I mean, but the fingerprint sensor is in a weird location, HTC speed on the home button and also have backlit keys for the back and the menu button, so speak charge 3.0, so HTC, u11 phone China I mean this keeper would need some getting used to oh man. This needs some getting used to so finishing, set up.

It's pretty quick boot and really nice animation as well. So that's the stock keyboard. Yes, I actually prefer the Google keyboard. So that's the reason it took a little time to type and yeah lovely screen. So it's a 5.5-inch screen. You have a 16 megapixel front facing camera, then f, 2.0 aperture. So that's that and, as you can see, this is the HOME key, which is there, and also it's actually quickly walk, walk you through the hardware.

So, on the that's a keyboard, I mean that's the keys here on the bottom, and you have the 5.5-inch screen. You have the squeeze. It's an IPS LCD screen, it's a super LCD. So, so on the right side, you have the power locks, which is a ribbed feel, so you actually textured. So it's actually easy to spot, even if you're not looking at the phone.

So you have the volume rocker the nice antenna bands going around as well and on the left. That's pretty much, nothing on the left top you have the SIM card tray. Luckily, it's a dual SIM card, and also you get a four gigs of storage for India I will be getting a 1 to 2 gigabytes of storage and that solution is coming on sale, Steve, gigabytes of storage in this particular version, and it's a dual sim hybrid SIM card arrangement. At the bottom you have the USB type-c port, there's no headphone jack, as you saw, and also another interesting feature, is that you have four microphones for getting acoustic focus. So it's about 169 grams.

It doesn't feel heavy at all. It's pretty lightweight I, considering its glass and metal combination is a metallic frame. I think this is made of glass in the back. You can see. It's already got some fingerprints I barely used it.

So no reason, that's the reason is actually including this, but in the box. Well, then, it's good that they're actually giving even a crystal case, so that crystal case would save the phone from these fingerprints so looks really gorgeous really nice looking phone and let's actually go in to the phone. So let's check out the software and the free storage and everything. So if you guys can see the screen is trying to focus so yeah it's got. This is the photo over a median.

Those are six kilobyte ram variant coming as well, so there's about 64 gigs of storage. All of it should be. Three is available for you and yeah. So it's cents. So that's the awesome feature, so I'll just show it to you guys, one more times.

I'm actually focus screen is down I'm going to be squeezing the phone and, as you can see it four powers of the camera, and you could squeeze again. It looks a photo. How cool is that seen anybody does that? What HTC is doing it? So black is great I like the blue as well, the top blue, so this can actually program it for anything. So like this, this is camera, so that focuses I mean it gets the camera in click it one more time, I mean squeeze the phone, so squeeze was the main tagline behind this phone, and it's coming to India in June, I, believe and yeah. So, let's see what else is answering the training on Android 7.1.1, with HTC Sense UI, on top of it, as you can see, is Android 7.1.2 1 and what else, so it's got active, noise-cancelling headphones, which is very awesome for traffic and airplane noise, and generally noise around you, I think one of the best companies making noise cancellation headphones is Bose, which is expensive. HTC told that this is probably a $49 worth actually they're bundling in the box, and they also have boom sound for speakers.

The boom sound high-five, so that's making a comeback in this device and what else is cool about the software there's also Alexa in select markets along with Google Assistant, so you can choose to use both and this dual network manager. Considering this is a dual-sim device, and it's got okay. The major story is the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 device I'm, not sure why the capacitive buttons are failing to light up. So let me actually check out the settings. Hmm personalized, sound output is pretty loud.

I did try it out, maybe we'll play something now, if you manage to connect to Wi-Fi, give me one quick. Second I'll just use the phone away from the frame and seem to see it, so there's a setting here which says navigation, button backlight, so I put it as always on just in case somebody asked so here you go, that's the close up and what else so the camera. So the real camera is a brilliant camera. It's a yes! It has boom sound as well. So let's actually see if you can connect to Wi-Fi and play something for you guys, let's check out the sound and so while I'm connecting to the Wi-Fi so yeah.

So it's powered by a Qualcomm, Qualcomm, Snapdragon, 835 processors, and it's probably the first device to ship like I'm, holding one right in my hand here, and it's called an 835. Why it Sony announced a g5 premium which sadly isn't on sale until next month, or something like that, but luckily getting even they are coming out now soon. So let me actually enter my Wi-Fi. So regarding the camera, so somebody asked about the camera. So the camera is a 12 megapixel, ultra pixel 3 camerae with an F 1.7 aperture, and it's a 6 element lens and HTC claims that DXO mark the independent company which you guys might have heard of the eczema. Creating separate e like much an industry standard now so 0, so max is given a rating of 90 for the HTC u11.

The other device which had got great rating was the Google Pixel, which got 89 the Galaxy S7 edge. I guess got 88, not really sure, but the funny thing is HTC is the one which actually is the hardware on or ODM for the Google Pixel, so that the reason the Q 11, and it's kind of I'm I'm kind of curious as to how it is. Luckily, though, I have the Galaxy S8 right now with me, and the iPhone 7 plus, and also I, have some friends who might have the Google Pixel. So I am definitely going to be making a test about all these devices and I will definitely report back as to how they fare in comparison, so, okay, luckily I'm on Wi-Fi. Finally, so I can actually play you guys some audio track and let me see if we can bring any audio clip.

Tell me some loud music, maybe not perfect into music, so you guys must give suggestions as to what do you want me to play to test the audio any suggestions guys when I'm searching for it? That will be probably the best way to test the phone's camera I mean the sound speaker.

So let's try. Let's check the volume as well as any volume setting for the King Tom doesn't seem like it's a good question about the fingerprint scanner. I think. If you set it up MMM we go to the fingerprint scanner and fingerprint pen. Okay, let's set it up.

Okay, let's see, if you can yeah, you can do lots of customization on the settings. You can even make it probably call your girlfriend or call your home or something about that. If you can squeeze it, I can change it. I'll just see if I can don't begin to. Settings HTC told us that there will be a software update which is going to be coming, which will improve and optimize the camera on the HTC.

It senses. So now the fingerprint sensor set up yeah. It seems to be active, it's not a passive fingerprint sensor. It seems to be an active one, so yeah the camera is OAS as well as E is, which is electronic image. Stabilization OAS.

Is there the back camera, and it also has some amazing features ever done yeah. Another good thing you brought up Avinash is that the phone is ip67 certified, so it can actually go into water and handle some dust, splashes and dust as well. So I'm missing the back of the box. You guys can see all the specs, so you have it's a snapdragon 835, so it's an F, 1.7, ultrapixel, 3 camerae and HTC told that told us that the focus because of New lands arrangement is ultra-fast, and also it's got a new feature in the camera called like ultra boost HDR boost and there are no wires on the front. Camera I.

Don't think so, and it's got ip67 water resistance, 3d, audio capture and boom sauntering up in sensor, Qualcomm quick charge, 3.0, and it's got kick a bit LD because of that I'm going to be actually doing that now, I'm going to be putting in my Taiwanese SIM card in this device and see how fast it goes. So, let's actually quickly open the camera because you guys seem to be interested in that so damage. Let me try, so, let's actually take out some Chinese text, which you can actually surely not read unless anyone from China who knows Chinese is watching. So here we go. So that's the camera.

So you can see the click. Sound I mean that's pretty common for an HTC device you can see is HDR, auto yeah on the left. So that's the HDR auto. So you have multiple modes for the camera. You have photo panorama pro mode which gives you ultimate control, manual, controls, raw capture and everything in control.

The white balance ISO and pretty much everything hyperlapse slow-motion selfie photo selfie video selfie panorama and all that, so you know to turn off the shutter sound. If you don't want it and all that stuff, so h23 format, you can shoot in raw and JPG and all that stuff, so pretty cool. You can shoot the scene, it's 9 Falls to 3 that so let's actually go into video. So you can also capture video in 3d. I mean 360-degree audio.

You can turn it off as well and turn it on. So you can actually change the quality. Ah, removes the settings here. It's 4k acoustic focus, acoustic, focus on and off, 3d audio high-res audio quality mm SQL ft, if f, HT, f, 4k, so slow motion, audio main video. Let's see what the settings look like for that.

There seems to be no settings for that, I'm, not really sure what is it seeming to be only one default setting for that. So that's pretty much it so in terms of the front camera, let's actually try, although and just so drowsy and actually with the s8, as you guys can see, yeah and let's see Galaxy S8 shooting this video. It's got 3d audio on the front as well. Selfie video quality, full HD, there's no 4k I, think it maxes out at Full HD the and selfie photo mode. So that's that, so you can do time or up to 10 seconds 16 MP, so I'm not sure about the frame rate should check out the spec sheet.

Maybe so you can just see the set to second timer so and that's the photo which we capture now, let's see how good the front camera is not too bad. We are in dimly, lit room and seems to be doing a good job, not sure if it's actually better than the pixel bar. We will find out soon, let's put the phone down for a second somebody asked about the headphones, so let's actually open it up. So you can see this is Type C headphones and these are Kenya, and these go in here you get tips as well and yeah. We also saw a converter lying somewhere along with the phone for the yeah, so this is a converter for converting a normal headphone.
