HTC U11 Plus (U11 Plus) versus iPhone X camera shootout

Hi guys I'm Nick gray, the high-tech traveler and welcome back to another one of my smartphone camera shootout. Today, I'm going to be comparing the new iPhone 10 against the HTC. U 11, plus as I've done in previous videos. Everything you see here is going to be recorded on the iPhone 10 and the HTC. U 11, plus they give you an idea of what the video quality is that you can get out of these two devices, so keep an eye on the bottom left-hand corner. Since that's where I'll be showing which device is being used to capture the video Before, we jump into the side-by-side photo comparisons.

Let's take a look at the some specs. The iPhone 10 here has a dual sensor: setup on the back, both featuring 12 megapixels, with optical image, stabilization and face detect, autofocus, there's also a quad LED flash. The main sensor has an F 1.8 lens, while the secondary one has an F 2.4 lens. As for the selfie came up front, it features a 7 megapixel sensor with an F 2.4 lens on the back of the. U 11, plus you get a 12 megapixel sensor with phase detect, autofocus optical image, stabilization and an F 1.7 lens, with a dual LED flash and on the front of the phone you get an 8 megapixel sensor up front with an F 2.0 lens. Now that we're all familiar with the specs.

Let's take a look at some side-by-side, photo comparisons to see how these devices actually perform in the real world and, looking at these pictures- and you probably notice that the ID one's pictures seemed to pop a little more and that's because the processing that Apple uses it seems to add a little more contrast. It's not necessarily good or bad. It's more of a matter of personal preference. Jovan 10 also seems to have slightly better dynamic range than the new 11 plus, but that does come at a cost, since you've probably seen there's a halo effect around buildings. In contrast with the blue skies in low-light situations, though, I think the 11 plus has the advantage it manages to produce brighter images, and surprisingly, the iPhone 10 seems to blow out the highlights a lot more than the HTC phone did when it comes to the front-facing camera.

The iPhone 10 is the clear winner when it comes to taking pictures, so I do prefer the wider lens, that's on the U 11 plus, since it allows you to pull in more of the scenery or more of your friends into the shot. Based on what you've seen here, which device do you think offers a better camera experience. Let me know in the comments below if you enjoyed this video I hope you give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to the channel. Thank you for watching and I'll catch. You guys in the next one.
