HTC U11 Plus Review - 24 Hours Later By Tech Zilla

Hi guys this is Godzilla, and today I'm going to be doing my 24 hours. Impressions and first thoughts of the new 11 plus I've had the phone for over 24 hours as I'm a little late with this video, so I apologize for that, but I was trying to test the battery out, believe it or not, which is crazy, actually wait in the battery to run down on this thing and some give you some feedback. So, let's start off with my impressions of the build quality of this phone now I've got a case on it and there's a reason for why I've got a case on this phone. This thing is as slippery as a wet bar of soap. It is so slippery to hold I'm, not complaining, a Chosen as a bad thing, but just be aware, you will need a case I, don't like the case that came with it, the hard shell, because it's got this funny. Look when you put it on the phone.

It doesn't look quite right, and it's quite that hard feeling it I, don't like it. I bought this cheap, cheap case as a temporary solution. It's just a cheap CPU case from Amazon. If you want to leave a link in a description, this is a sort of mate new case. So I'll tell you a little story.

This phone actually put it on my desk, which is about let's say four foot high. It was about four foot off the floor and I put on a box which wasn't seat was just slightly tilted, but I didn't see that, and there wasn't a case on this, and it just slipped off and bang onto a hardwood floor, hit the floor bounced into the wall bounced off to the wall into the chair leg. That was sitting on my heart stopped me. Yes, it hit, and I'm happy to report, not a single scratch. Dink scuff mark nothing.

So pretty good, pretty good, so bill quality is phenomenal. It is phenomenal with this phone I really like it. So far. Next thing cameras now using the cameras out, I've got to say I'm, pretty impressed a solid camera. The camera front and back are very good.

The camera still has the audio focus option which I don't believe correctly from wrong other than the 11 I, don't believe, there's any other phones that have that ability which is great I've, taken some photos in dark conditions. With this. Just a couple with this, the note 8 and the iPhone 8 plus, so I'll put them up right now. I want to go quiet, just have a look with the three photos next to each other, and you decide which one, you think is better. So what do you guys? Think of the six photos are up there from the iPhone 10.

The note 8 and the HTC you 11, plus one thing I noticed is with the new 11 plus and the iPhone 10 the front facing camera. The screen acts like a flash which I didn't have seemed developed under the note 8 strangely enough, and what do you think of that outside shop and these are shots- are talking very, very dark conditions? They're, not the average kind of locations I mean literally there's virtually no light, it's middle of the night and stuff. So let me know you think of that, and I forgot to mention at the beginning, the video the phone is quite heavy as well. We just bring in it is its more comfortable with the CPU case, so the case that comes with it, it's quite a heavy feeling and balance wise I would say it's a little top-heavy because if I show you this in my hand like this, you see how it tilts back and that's about 2/3 well, roughly about 2/3 of the way up, just be a bit clumsy attempt here. You can see its just day if I've turned my hand a little.

This is quite a top-heavy device, so if you hold it, you've got to hold it pretty far up on your fingerprint sensors, perfect location, you know perfect location of that no issue at all. So here's a quite heavy device screen quality is excellent. Aim. I would say it's not quite as bright as say a note 8, it's not as bright, but you're not missing much, and it is an LCD panel. So you don't get a lot of color shifts.

There's no blue tint or red tint when you tilt the phone and viewing angles are very, very good. They're excellent, in fact so screen is I would say, spot-on and some people are going to go always got. Bezels are called bezels shut up, not learn about bezels HTC have listened to you, guys, they've, given you what you want so stop moaning about it. I have no issue with these bezels the pixel to excel to or to Excel was meant to be this phone. Google, your nuts, you should stick with this and not gone with LG's.

This was a better option for you, guys I'm, sorry, but it's the truth. You should have come with this Google. You should have you made a big mistake. So let's talk about next speakers, it obviously is dual speaker top and bottom very loud, really, nice quality. Now there are two options that you got: music option and theater option music option.

It's a little more bass than the theater of holding a theater I could be wrong in it. I'm pretty sure spring. Is its a bit more bass and less clear? It's a little more muddy when you're going to use it. When you put on the other option, it's a mop. It gives you a much for Clara, vocal, sound, but I like it.

You can tell because it's an ip68 water resistance. They have. It has compromised a little on sweetness, but not bad at all. Really, nice speakers up this phone is really a surprise phone of the year. I'm telling you right now.

This is fingerprint sensor extremely fast. I mean I'll. Show you that here three two one see it's pretty, but it's not the fastest. It's not as fast as a make 10 that I would say, but it certainly sounds a's faster than a Samsung device and unlocking the phone I've never had an issue with HTC fingerprint sensors in the past. Let's talk about headphones, headphones phenomenal! That's what I'm going to say at this point in time about the headphones they sound great I will test them further.

Then I'll test Bluetooth headphones with this as well, and I'll, give you guys feedback and what I think of us of the bloop when using Bluetooth this, but remember because it's got Oreo 8.0 onboard now, you have got me higher codecs, so u4l DAC you've got apex HD as well, which is all positives they're much higher L DAC is the one I'm gonna really test out with this phone with Bluetooth. One surprised I really, really like. Is this the always-on display I forgot this phone has an always-on display, I, really, really like it. Now you can have it set up two different ways: you can have it where it stays off until you pick up the phone, or you can have it so stays on permanently and the bear in mind. This is an LCD panel, LCD, 6 I believe so really nice option.

That is, is amazing. Really loud sounds crazy, but HTC have really thrown everything at this phone, including the kitchen sink. My favorite favorite favorite feature of all I love the squeeze thing, but my favorite thing is this: this launch wheel the way I've done it is I've got half these apps and shortcuts to settings and half is contacts, so people are ring and text often so, for example, here I've got the call option, and then I've got the text option for each person as you go across. So that's probably my favorite feature so far. Battery life on this thing is insane.
