What once is Chris prints from SlashGear today we're taking a look at the HTC One X, as you can see, we're starting up from fresh here, just to show you how this is gonna work right out of this rent of the box rather or not, and not right out of the box, but right from the start screen pop in this open. What we're gonna look at today is Terra 3 applications, we're gonna look at several games popping out right from the start screen just so you can see how fast everything loads up and how's everything looks right when you start your device up, we're going to start with Riptide GP. This is one of several games made optimized specifically for Terra devices. You know developed with Nvidia by the developers to make it work fantastically on video devices. She could notice for this game. We have demoed it before on a tablet or two.
Is that there's enhanced effects? This game is also out for iOS, but it looks the most fantastic on Terra devices. This version has a few more water effects. Splashing your face eventually you'll see here as well. As you know, when I speed it when I sped through there with the turbo, it looks a little different as well. Let's get some splashes up on the screen there, pretty cool off flashes, random screen there and they must crash there.
We go fun now ready for the next game, actually got pinball HD for Terra, as you can see, I'm not just aren't I'm, not ending the game before them. I'm just gonna. Keep it open there. Now, lets we're got into here, you'll see we have several tables. The only version of pinball HD that has more tables is the iOS version, but that version does not have as enhanced of tables of these three as it does here in Android.
We're going to go to the Wild West table here. Just play it a little. Just show you what it's all about this is this game. This game is made by people like game prom and it by far the most awesome pinball game, you're gonna, find on the mobile platform for any mobile platform. It's just really sweet.
Don't pop around there. You see we can switch views here. While it's going, you don't need to shut it off or anything the day we can switch views like this and works great now, next I'm going to go to the next game without start for that, one as well I go to global. Now global was made specifically by a group to show off Terra once again, but it's made to show off its abilities to render. So you guys see some fantastic effects here, but not just a whole.
Lot of you know, challenging gameplay I want to do here is show you that you go through there. You can see the light changing to see those little uh. You know the shroud change in there if I'm able to hit one of these boxes, I see a pop open shoot me there back up, go to one of these I smashed me on the table there or way these are flipping around. Furthermore, you can also do things like split the screen. Let's see if I can make it putting it like this stove a split screen right there.
Now, what you can see is lighting and rendering being helping this side, but not on this side. At all, so it's pretty cool Wow. Okay, next game I play as shadow gun THD. This version. The game is a layout for Terra Nvidia.
If you did not know you have a bunch of developers on their side working to enhanced games for the know, Terra suite of a advice I want to say. So what you can see here is the slightly enhanced version over any other kind. You've seen iOS also has this game, but it's you know it's not as detail-oriented. So we're going to go in here is we're in a spot. We're going to be able to see a cinematic take a couple of seconds here.
You can see this water effects back their being rendered on flat surfaces. Harris, you can see, we've been right in and out of those all right there. You can see things like fans moving, here's the bad guys up, not bad guys. This is actually some fire that killed me. Of course, let's try it one more time here.
We're going to have to do here is roll through that area, or at least time it better. There we go as you can see. There's also awesome hot areas over here, so I want to stay away from those see the fire rendering there. Real-Time got some area over here. We're going to have to blast through I'll get through, and once you know, once you get to enemy's they're running at your smash, you know.
Looking nice die there, you go and then finally we're gonna look at gta3. This game is not exclusive to Terra, but is enhanced for Terra the people at Rock star decided to enhance the game, but not to release it exclusively for Terra at first, a lot of the people who do work with Nvidia to develop their games work on a deal where they do have it exclusive for Terra for quite a while, and then it's released other places as well. But Rock star went for the gold right away. They just sort of you know using their power to release it on their own. Now we got going on here.
Is the know classic gta3 made for Android? Now it's it works. You know it works on most dual-core devices. You're not going to want to end up playing this game on a single core device. It's going to go pretty slow, but you know it looks the most fantastic in the device like this, where 4 cores are going to really be used. Well, especially don't crash into the wall like that, oh shoot you draw away, I have to get back here.
Hurry up, I, give me that car nope I need it. Let's go. You all normally have a better player at this game. I would say, but looking through another screen here, it's a bit challenging see if we can thread the needle here smash through the hall. Let's make this thing blow up, we can be last thing we're going to do here, especially since we have this pause and take it to the limit.
They keep it going. We're going to go, take it to the limit and smash into the ocean over here, I think there you go yeah, Oh front, flips side flip there we go. Let's just let this blow up awesome.
