HTC One V Unboxing and first looks

Hi there this is Transit from tech, topaz, comm, and today we'll be doing the unboxing of this new HTC One phone HTC recently has launched three phones by the brand name, HTC One, and they are the Wii, the S and the X, and here I have the HTC One V, and this is the most affordable of the three and let's have a closer look at the same before opening the box. I just want to thank Faisal Communications for providing this unit for testing, and it was just launched here in India. Let me show you the label. It says the MRP of this unit is nineteen thousand nine hundred, but you can get it in the local market for about seventeen thousand five hundred and that's a very good price for this phone, and it says on the box that this HTC One V comes with three 25gb of online storage. Courtesy of Dropbox that'll be available for the first two years, and this comes with Beats Audio and let me just quickly open up the box now, for you and right away, we have the phone itself, it says, and the one you have been waiting for. Let me take it out, put it on the side for now, let's see what else to begin in the box and the box opens, and if we have a pamphlet, let me put it to the side for now.

You also get these two things. That's the safety and regulatory guide, warranty statement, it says contact us, and we get the faults, and we also get the USB charger and the USB charging cable. First, let's have a look at this pamphlet. It says your HTC One, and it gives us the overview of the phone. It says that we need to charge the battery before using the phone and some notes.

So let me leave that to the side and let us see the actual unit itself. So this is the actual phone itself, and it supports a 3.7-inch screen, and it's kind of an unibody design. It's a very different kind of emit material. This looks metal, but this looks rubbery I have to say the build quality looks excellent and this phone comes with a non-removable battery. That's a fifteen hundred mill ampere battery is built into the four and let us try to power on this phone and, let's see if it powers on and yes, it does have some power.

So let's power it on, and it says, Beats Audio and the battery is almost dead according to the same, and this is the HTC one. Let me first give you a physical overview of the phone first and on the top. We have the 3.5 mm headphone jack, and we have the on/off switch over here. Moving towards this side, we have the volume rocker feels very nice, nothing else coming towards the bottom. We have the microphone and again nothing else over.

Here we have the speakerphone at the back and moving over to this side, we have the microUSB slot that will be used for charging and syncing the phone I mean nothing else on this side, so a very clean design and as far as I know, this is right now only available in this brownish metallic color, and it looks pretty nice. Actually, it does have a chin here, and this reminds me of a phone by HTC that was earlier called to the legend. It has a similar chin yeah, but the feel of the phone is very nice, and it is very solid to hold and coming towards the back side of the phone. We have a five megapixel rear facing camera. We do have a LED flash HTC logo and the back cover can be opened to load the SIM card.

This comes out, you just slide it, and this part comes out, and this phone comes with the micros slot, so you can add a micros card to expand the stories. The default storage is just Give, and we need to insert the same here, and I'm going to do the same. Now. You just insert the same as this, and this takes a standard sim, and now I'm going to close the tray, and this phone does not have a front-facing camera and this phone comes preloaded with Android 4, that is the Ice Cream Sandwich and the user interfaces sense, for that's the latest sense, UI and right now the phone feels really snappy. The processor inside this phone is a 1 gigahertz Snapdragon processor, and it also has a dedicated GPU.

Also, the camera is supposed to be very snappy. So let's have a quick look at the same and I hit the camera app, and it takes, as you can see, it can quickly take not so many snaps and like a DSLR, it can shoot quite a few snaps, so the camera is really impressive. I'll be doing in-depth testing of this phone and I will also post a separate video regarding the camera performance of this phone. So this was the unboxing and first looks at the HTC One V, that's it. For now.

This is Randy from techyv. com, and hopefully I am going to see you in my next video.
