Welcome, my name is a Google Pixel 4a, and today I'll show you how to enable the power saving mode and to get started simply pull down the notification panel. Let's go to the second page, where you should see the battery saver option once you find it simply tap on it. It will give you a message that turn on battery saver text and battery life battery saver turns on dark theme, which basically makes everything go in dark mode, and that is because the display here is an OLED. So anything that is completely black doesn't need to be lit up. The pixels are self lit, so that will save a little of the battery. Then we also have to turn off or restrict a background activity.
Some visual effects and other functions like hey, google, so kind of self-explanatory. Now the only thing that I'll touch upon here uh the background activity. I believe this also touches upon the things like mobile data and Wi-Fi. So when you lock the device- and it basically is idling not not doing anything with it after a period of inactivity, it automatically disconnects from Wi-Fi and mobile data causing you to not receive any kind of updates from applications that will require a mobile connection or internet connection, and it automatically reconnects with them and get those updates. When you actually start to do something on the phone.
So when you unlock it, it automatically reconnects and gives you all the updates. So from here, let's just tap on turn on, as you can see there, it is turned on now and yeah. That's about it and once you're done with it, you can turn it off by again tapping on the toggle and everything goes back to normal. So that is how you'd turn this on, and if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like subscribe, and thanks for watching.
