How to extend the battery life of your Galaxy Watch By more than a day

What up guys, Kelsey, says Cody, and today we're going to be talking about things around the Samsung Galaxy watch the 42 Silverton and how to actually save some battery on it and extend it about up to 36 hours by using these couple of common-sense kind of tricks. So this is just gonna, be a few hints and tips. So if you haven't got the galaxy watch, 42 millimeters, but you're thinking of buying it, then you are gonna. Wanna watch this and if you do know someone that has one of these watches or is going to get. One of these watches then think about sharing a video and subscribing to this fantastic channel. If you do say so myself, but before we got on with the video and don't forget to head over to streaming news or just head over, there set up a little profile if you want to.

If you do loads of things like sharing liking, commenting you'll get points and points at the end of the month, starting at the end of January means prizes real prizes, real Amazon gift card prizes in your local currency. It's the easiest way to give my fangs back to you guys. Well those people on there at the moment, loads of news, loads of downloads, just loads of good stuff, which you like. So let's go over to the Galaxy watch.42 mil extend your battery life because we want a watch to last forever, but it's not going to because it's run off a battery, so we're just going to extend it as much sort of can use some tips and tricks which I personally use that's about. It hopes you enjoyed the video.

Let's go check it out now. The Galaxy watch is fantastic for a ton of stuff, I use it from my Spotify, which have got installed on here and also for my Strata as well, which is obviously using the GPS. Now all the menus are pretty easy. You can just swipe all the way through now. You can set all this up on your phone as well.

It does come with a dedicated app, and you can see my blades of information on the weather on your sports and all whatever you want, or you can just simply set up a quick setting. So I have my Strata, my settings, my alarm and my Samsung fitness as well so, but one thing I have found, is using this watch when I'm out running hooked up to my Bluetooth using my GPS, he does actually consume quite a large amount of battery if we actually go into the app on the phone. So this is the Samsung Galaxy S 10 from the top. You can actually see the watch face I'm using, and you can actually swap all these down here. So we have absolutely loads and a dedicated app store just for watch faces.

Now we can go for the flashy ones, the animated ones, but that also in itself is going to be a massive drain on your battery. So one of the ones I have found actually works really. Well, it's simply just this one, and by clicking on that, your watch is then going to turn into that actual watch face, and it's that connectivity, which I'm absolutely loving about this Galaxy watch. This is the 42 million a case where hasn't got the massive battery in it like the 46 mil, but it's got a sufficient battery to do what I want, but I am finding I do need to change some settings around to ensure that I get the best battery life. I can possibly get out of this watch.

So one of the first things' idea C does come installed with absolutely a ton of apps. Already on the watch as well, it's actually removed a lot of them ones that I don't really need to use, nor what I think I would ever really need to use, and just one it's using up space on the watch, which has got 4 gigs of space on there. So it's plenty and ? I, just really don't need them. I want it for WhatsApp I wanted 4 messages, I want it for phone calls and I want the GPS on there as well. So that's all I'm really bothered about, maybe the weather, yeah.

Ok, that would do and on the notifications as well, because it is vibrating and also making a tone that is going usual battery life. If you are going to get loads of Twitter messages, loads of WhatsApp messages or loads of Instagram notifications, so I just go through here and turn off the ones I don't want to use and the ones down here which have the orange highlight on there. That means it's enabled, and I would actually receive notifications on my watch now, I'm going to show you a massive trick right at the end of the video which is going to give you the best way to actually conserve battery life on this watch and I mean, like you, can add easily a day of life onto this. These are some of the settings you want to do first before we actually get to this extreme way of actually saving battery life on your watch, so I have found if I just go for a nice, a simple watch face like the black and the white. It's going to be using fewer pixels and if I was using something like this, so there you go straight away.

It has actually transferred over to that watch face and so, but I do tend to keep it on this one, an awful lot and another one which is even better for battery saving in just a mo. So some of the things that you want to do we've been through the applications, don't install too many applications which you just don't need. If you want to get the news, just look at it on your phone, there's no point to get it on your watch. Unless it's something like breaking news, which you can then obviously configure fire this application, then obviously by your phone as well. If we go onto the display, make sure the display has a time-out limit on there, so mine's around 10 seconds there we go 15 seconds, and then it will go off.

But then, as soon as you look at your watch again, it will come on and show you the last application which you actually had to open. So I do have my brightness set right all the way at the moment, just for the purpose of this tutorial, so you can see it, but to be honest, one of the best things to do about extending the battery life is as follows. You go on to your watch, so this is for you as well sound because you're going to get this, and I will add already. It is a fantastic watch, so what you wanted too so to get to all the settings and everything all you want to do is just swipe down super easy swipe down. You can see there I have my watch on before brightness now.

Do you know what they tend to have it on? Just one now do to the actual soft box, which is over this way. It's kind of glaring everything out, so you can't see it as goods, but even on three you can see they're, absolutely fine and all the way up to ten. But you know even on three, even on this video, you can see that it has clear sharpness and excellent color, so you can actually see even in like kind of direct sunlight as what we're getting at the moment, but for the purpose of this I will leave it on a ten. So this is the absolute best way to save your battery okay. So this is it get ready for this people.

This is amazing, so just swipe down, obviously you'd reduce your screen brightness, but you just want to swipe over and at nighttime when you're going to bed. You do not want notifications, you do not want you'll watch pinging all throughout the night, with somebody's retweeted, one of your tweets' somebody's liked, an image on Instagram somebody has added a new playlist on Spotify, or anything like that. So all you want to do is remember to swipe down to get all your settings and then just hit on airplane mode and hit on battery saving mode. So this is telling me that it's going to be disconnecting from my phone yeah. Okay, happy with that, and actually your clock face that you had before is also gonna change, but this is the joy about it.

This clock face and the way that it looks once it is in power, saving mode is decent. It's super, super decent. Look at that. It's a nice, simple black and white, so you're saving on the pixels on the actual colors, but you know that actually works for me. That's ID! You know I like this and to be honest, if I'm, not if I've got my phone on me, and I'm not bothered about the vacations, then I'll just leave it on this and when I go out for a run and I want my Bluetooth I want my GPS and I.

Want me to stream music via Spotify, then I've, see I will turn this off now, for you, new users of the galaxy watch. I would just give you a top tip when it comes to Spotify. Okay, because I was just about to start a part phone and I couldn't get it figured out. Okay, it may sound a bit weird, but you'll understand, and you've probably been there. So what we're going to do? We turn off airplane mode and turn off battery saving modes.

So this is now gonna river back to our watch face that we had before still a nice simple watch face, and you know it does me there is a whole app store ready for you, guys that want to have snow falling down on your watch, or you know animated something in the background anyway. So if we go over to Spotify here we go and one of the biggest things which I didn't realize is there because this is the LTE version. Obviously you can stream Spotify on your watch, and you have to ensure that the settings within Spotify allow streaming via LTE. That was the most confusing thing for me. Five minutes before a park run.

What I'm actually going to do at the moment is just put my phone on airplane mode, so you can see that this is purely from the watch. There we go, and here we have Spotify, so we can go into recently paid. Obviously, I'm not going to pull a because it is gonna, get copyrighted and flagged up, and you know all that good stuff like that. So what you want to do is simply go into settings features your music browse search and there we go. We have settings just click on settings now you can see a playback standalone offline and that's the one there stream using cellular data without that ticking, not going to be able to stream anything.

So that is just a top little tip, because I struggled and didn't know where it was, and it was doing my heading and I didn't have my phone on me. So I was in all sorts of trouble, but I assumed there was something within the same things. I actually went into the water setting first, it's actually from straight within Spotify, so there we go streaming over cellular. So this is completely all on its own. You can go out running and stream.

Your music now one of my biggest drains on the battery I will say is when I am like this morning. Park front and listening to music, Bluetooth, headphones on, and I was running for about 25 minutes per I was listening and GPS in and out for about 45 minutes, and it did use 30% of my battery. So when I finish and my Stafford automatically uploaded obviously too much driver countless this works independently. I then went straight in and then just turned everything off, Bom, Bom turn you know is there was no need to have it on because then I'm going to be back with my phone, so that is it absolutely done fantastic, but my first impressions of this watch aren't there. It is a cheeky little beast.

I went for this size because it just it looks like a normal-sized watch, not one of the massive ones that are like 46, inches I. Think I was 46, inches 46 mil. Think personally. For me, a bit too big. We can see, we've got a thing.

We still stick it in airplane mode as well so begin again ton of battery life on this now, so we're currently sitting at 32 percent. I bet you, with this I'll, get a good another 24 to 30 hours with this. That's it watch apps battery saving, remember check out these hints and tips. If you do find this video useful, don't forget to subscribe, but I'm going to be coming up some more little things to do. With this beast of a watch.

I have obviously been an absolute fanboy of the Apple Watch before Burt. To me, there is no comparison. This looks like a watch this a dozen. This has lasted me a good few years. How do you miss it, but I'm happy with.
