Google Pixel XL vs iPhone 7 Plus - Speed Test By Redskull

Good everyone, my name, is Alex and welcome to a new video in this video I'm, doing a speed test between the iPhone 7 plus and the Google Pixel XL, starting with the iPhone 7 plus. So we have a 5.5 inch display the resolution of 1080p. This phone has 3 gigs of RAM, and it's running iOS 10.0 3, the Google Pixel XL, has a 5.5-inch screen as well, but this time around we have a quad HD resolution, so much better resolution than the iPhone this device, it's running the Android 7.1 and has 4 gigs of RAM and I figured they might as well start with some benchmark scores so on the geek bench for the multi-core score on the iPhone. It's about 5500 and the multi-core score on to the Google Pixel XL. It's about 4000, so very big difference again for the single core score on the iPhone. Furthermore, it's about 3500 and the single core on to the Google Pixel XL.

Furthermore, it's about 1500, so realistically on the iPhone. Furthermore, it's twice as much so very, very big difference for benchmark results. Now, let's start by doing a fingerprint test. So, let's see which are not opens the screen faster and then to open a couple of apps, we'll see which one opens the apps better. We'll do some apps that are running in the background.

So if you have a better idea how each phone works and how the RAM management goes. Ok, so, first try the fingerprint test with a screen soft, so I'm going to try to touch this in the exact same time, so I believe the Google Pixel was faster. But let's see how that looks in slow motion and for the second test for the fingerprint scanner. I'm just going to have the screens on both devices, and we'll unlock them from here. So realistically, it's going to be a bit faster with a Google Pixel excel just because with the iPhone, you have to actually click onto that home button.

Once again, so it's going to be a bit faster on the Google Pixel Excel, with the fingerprint scanner, and now that we got that out of the way, let's close, all the apps in the background on both of these. So we don't have anything running in the background for either and let's start by opening the same app. So let's start with this one right here so even though that one kind of open it the first corner it actually loaded faster on to the Google Pixel. The next one is gonna, be this game here or real racing, so that one took a much, much longer. So this one already started that or not it's still loading out there so again leave this in the background as well.

The next thing that we are going to do it's open on the YouTube app. So let's see how fast that opens so kind of in the same time, but let's open this video and see which are not starts faster, a bit faster, so we'll leave that in the background as well, the next one is going to be Twitter. So, even though that one started a bit faster, I think this one loaded just slightly faster. So let's go home on both of them. We'll leave these in the background and next I'm going to open the browser for each one of them, so I'm going to use Safari on this one and chrome onto this one, and I think that one opened just a bit faster, and this also has the website through here.

So let's close these from the background and then let's open a website on both of them, we open the same website on both and let's open all the same article on both them so kind of in the same time, which runs a bit slower for some reason. So we'll exit this as well. The next thing we're going to open it's the calculator so the same okay. So we'll leave this in the background as well, and the next thing we're going to open its Instagram, so they kind of loaded. In the same time, let's open my account here and open a random picture, so it loaded with that one faster, we'll leave that in the background we have another game here, so I have that racing game.

So let's open the racing game. So again, it started a bit sooner onto the iPhone, but let's see which one loads faster. So I guess this one started this game on a bit faster, so we'll leave these in the background as well, and I do believe. I have temple runs somewhere here on to the one. Yeah, I do have it here, and we also have it here somewhere.

So let's try that one as well and let's see which one loads faster. So are the iPhone definitely faster on to this one. Now, let's check out the camera apps so on to the iPhone, the only way of actually opening the camera is to do this, and this so a bit slow on to the Google Pixel. We can just double tap the home button that so, let's see which one opens the camera first good. So basically, in the same time, if the screens on to this one, it's a different test, because it's very difficult to actually do that on to the iPhone while holding this one now in the other, half alright.

So now, let's see what happened, those apps the tour rub running in the background there. So let's open this again, so they're still open. Let's try the trail racing game, so I think this one actually has to load the game. Once again, yeah I think this one had to load the game once again, or maybe I didn't give it enough time at the beginning to actually start again so yeah a bit disappointing on the nexus there on the pixel I mean, and this one keeps turning around okay, the following game or the following: app is gonna, be the YouTube app, and they're both turning around. So let's open the YouTube app on both, so it definitely started on to the iPhone um faster.

So, let's move on with another thing: let's open the browser again, so this one! It's still here, let's see what else we have you have the calculator, then you find a calculator on both, so there are both still open. What else do we have temple run? Let's see what happens if we open temple run, so it's still running the background for both of them. So that's what happens with the iPhone and the Google Pixel Excel, so yeah the iPhone. It's definitely faster for certain things, but comparing those course the Geek bench for scores.
