Google Pixel 4a vs Realme 7 Pro | ULTIMATE Camera Test

Yo, what is good people Ben from lover of tech? We have here another mid-range camera comparison. This is between the real me, seven pro and uh, that is the Pixel 4a, and again we're going to test everything. Man, daylight, low, light video front facing rear facing. So that way so much time, man, let's get into the camera specs. Now here's a quick rundown of the main camera specs, starting with the Realme 7 pro, which has a quad camera system on the rear, a main 64 megapixel camera sensor with an 8 megapixel ultra-wide, a 2 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel depth sensor with a 32 megapixel selfie camera. Now, switching over to the pixel 4 here, which is much simpler.

It has one main camera sensor at the rear at 12.2 megapixels and an 8 megapixel selfie at the front, but the main camera specs will be linked in the description below. So if you want to see that go check in the description below, let's get back on to the main camera comparison. Let's kick this off both the front facing camera on the room e7 pro and the Pixel 4a. Only shoot up to 1080p frames, a second I'm gonna check how the color rendition is the dynamic range and the image quality stabilization as well. So quick run now we're on the main camera and both the rear cameras on the room.

E7 pro and a Pixel 4a record up to 4k UHD 30 frames a second first limitation. You only get on the main camera. You can't shoot that on the ultra-wide angle, camera on the re7 pro and now the sun is out. Thank goodness. We can really see how to behave with exposure and dynamic range within the shadows and the highlights and the mid all right, quick, run stabilization.

This is just a quick test of the zoom capabilities. Both do not have telephoto cameras, um, so yeah we're gonna. Do digital zoom times two fancy digital to see how the quality looks like we're going to stop, then the roomy goes up to times. Five digital and you've got times five digits on the pixel and back to the main. Now we're testing the 1080p frames to second video recording mode, see how the image quality looks like, and now you can actually shoot an ultra-wide on the Realme 7 pro quick test stabilization.

Now this is the ultra-wide angle. Camera in 1080p frames a second on the roomy seven pro. As you know, the pixel 4 only has a single camera lens, and one limitation is that you actually have to stop recording to be able to switch the ultra-wide angle focal length, because, when you're in the main camera recording in 1080p it blocks it out. Bear that in mind I like to state these limitations quick run. Now we are in the low light on the main camera 4k UHD frames.

Second, on a Realme 7 pro and the Pixel 4a just seen how they perform in low light. Now we switched over to the 1080p 30 frames, a second video recording mode on both the main cameras and again, you can record with the ultra-wide angle, camera on the 7 pro from grow me, but you do have to stop recording, so we'll, stop, recording and see how the ultra-wide looks like. In now, we've switched over to the ultra-wide angle, camera on the realm 7 pro. As you can see, it takes a big hit still in 1080p frames. A second we're still in the 1080p frames, a second video recording mode, but this is with the ultra knight video mode in 1080p30 on the room e7 pro.

Let's see how much of a difference it to makes night mode, and again it's only for the main camera, and we are testing the 1080p frames. Second, video recorder mode on the selfie in low light to see how it performs now, let's start with some daylight shots and as you can see, some of the selfies that are flying in front of the screen right now. The Realme 7 pro versus the previous x55g, has improved so much when it comes to the selfie, but man it still doesn't hold a candle to the Pixel 4a, especially when it comes to how it holds a dynamic range in shooting modes like selfie portrait mode. The pixel 4 is still a beast color accuracy that contrast look and that highlight exposure on your skin as well, so much better handled and the dynamic range it just doesn't blow the highlights around you when you're in portrait mode- so I would say so far with the selfie is looking great on the Pixel 4a. Now again, when it comes to the main cameras at the rear, I would say that the pixel definitely is again much more color accurate, great dynamic range on there, but it still has that character.

With that contrast edgy. Look that you really! You really tend to see from pixels that really draws people in when it comes to the roomy seven pro it is going for more saturated kind of pre-edited look, but it's not overdone, and I actually like it and in some ways it can draw you in even more the advantage that you have with it is that you do have that flexibility of the 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle, camera, and it works really well, there's less lens flaring on it as well, and the dynamic range is greatly improved, especially the shadow details. It looks perfect. I think they've done a perfect job here, good detail without looking too over sharpened, which is something that you found a lot previously on the x55g I'm liking, what it's doing there, the other two camera sensors with the macro and the depth. I think again it's a waste of time.

It's something where having just the dual cameras with the main and ultrawide is more than enough, and in case that was something that was there, the two megapixel and two megapixels. I wish they just kind of added it to the ultrawide and made it a 12, megapixel ultrawide for even better detail, but again that's the decision that they've gone for, and that is one advantage that you'll find on the room. E7 pro having an ultra-wide angle, sensor versus the main, it's really improved. It's improved a lot better compared to the x50 than I expected, so I'm liking. What I'm seeing here overall portrait shots, look good on both one advantage.

You do get with the really seven pro does give you a live preview of the background blur which we don't get on the Pixel 4a, the biggest four way you just kind of have to trust it and have faith that it will blur the background properly. Sometimes it does struggle with edge detection on the Pixel 4a. Overall, they look perfect. I think just the advantage you get with the pixel is the highlight roll-off, as well as the dynamic range looking so much better in portrait mode and the color accuracy with the contrast look really works well on natural detail as well, so yeah definitely for stills. I think it holds up a bit better, but the Realme seven pros improved so much now when it comes to nighttime shots when you're.

Actually, looking at the pictures of myself, the normal nighttime photos, the Pixel 4a low-key struggles, it looks very smudgy and soft, whereas the Realme 7 pro really holds great detail. So I would say that I'm more impressed with the Realme 7 pro, that's until you switch to the night mode and again, the night mode is still perfect on the 7 pro, but man, the Pixel 4a the night mode on there is it's its it's next level good. So definitely you want to take advantage of the night mode more on the Pixel 4a, but the standard low-light pictures from the Realme 7 pro sharp detail, and it really holds its own. I was surprised, but that's really a good look on a room e7 pro now. The last few shots are of some extreme low light situation where it's near enough pitch black, and it goes back and forth.

I think they hold their own differently for the standard shots, but when you activate the night mode, the Realme 7 pro does perfect. But man put some respect on the night mode on the Pixel 4a, it cleans up the image and when it's standing still on a tripod, you see the macrophotography mode, activate, and you're getting a two and a half minute exposure and how it pre-edits it and cleans up after, oh, my goodness, it's so good, so so so good, and even then it translates to the same on the selfie. So when you're moving over to the selfie, both are decent, the pixel 4 is still definitely better in the normal selfie night mode. But when you move over to the night mode on the pixel, 4a wow again put some respect on the night mode on the selfie for the Pixel 4a it's strong, and it holds up really, really well here's my conclusion, the Realme seven pro has improved so much compared to the last time when I used the Realme x55g the fact that you're getting stabilization at 4k UHD. Finally, is such a good look.

The dynamic range has greatly improved the colors, a lot more punchy, but you know still subdue where it's not too overbearing the selfie camera actually for video the detail on there with the color rendition. I actually prefer it over the Pixel 4a, but the problem is the audio is not that great. The Pixel 4a audio with the microphones is phenomenally good way better and even then the stabilization, although it has improved a lot on the Realme 7 pro, it still doesn't come close to the Pixel 4a. The Pixel 4a video stabilization across all video shooter modes is on point and I have to say I'm very impressed with what I'm seeing here. So that's my conclusion.
