Google Pixel 4a 5G Unboxing

Hey guys welcome back to the channel techno talks here, so today I have another unboxing and this time I'm going to be unboxing. The Google Pixel 4a 5g, so I had recently unboxed the Pixel 4a and that's going to be like the smaller version of this and the version that doesn't have 5g. So google did release this. It's been around two to three months now, since this has been released. So I am a little late, but I finally got my hands on one of these, and I will be unboxing it and basically giving you all my first impressions about the device. So, first up, let's go ahead and talk about some specs on this.

We have a 6.2 inch, full HD plus display, which is great um. You don't need too much more. Usually that is what most budget phones are on. So that's pretty great. We have six gigabytes of ram and the chipset is a snapdragon 765 g.

So it is a lower end chipset, but for this price it is to be expected. Next up battery, we have a 3 800 William hour battery and that should last you around the whole day. If you know the pixel 5 has had great battery life and I believe that the pixel 4 a5 g will have that same great battery life as well. So you're, probably not going to worry about that uh cameras. We have two cameras this time around.

It has the same camera as the pixel 5, the Pixel 4a, the normal one only had one camera, but this one has two: we have a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera, wide angle, camera, and we have a 16 megapixel ultrawide camera. So everything is great um. The cameras are great. As you guys know, Google is reliable with the camera with picture, taking, so nothing to be worried about on cameras next up videos. Let's talk about that real quick! We do get 4k, 60 fps on the front camera.

However, I mean the rear camera. However, the front camera. We have an 8 megapixel camera, which can only do 1080p at 630 fps, which is kind of disappointing um. You should normally, you would get something better- maybe at least 60 fps, but I guess google opted out not to do that for some reason, which is kind of a bummer. So, let's get on with the unboxing, let's check out the box real quick.

The front is what you'd expect. We have the Pixel 4a 5g right here, the front area, the front portion, the top portion, and then we have the logo with the name right there. We have our Google logo on the left side of the box, and we have 5g on the right side. So and then the bottom has hashtag team pixel, which is what we get with most of them and the top part has the Google logo so pretty simple box, a clean design, nothing too much on it. That will distract you, which is a great design.

So let's go ahead and take out these pull tabs. As you know, Google's boxes are pretty easy to unbox. So just pull this one right here, put that to the side, and you pull the other one right here. If I can grab onto it, pull that easy as that, and now we can slide it out boom, so nothing on the top portion. We do have this weird cutout right here.

I guess that's for the camera area, so it protects the camera bump, and then we have like the soft foam. I guess a very thin foam there to protect the device again, let's put that to the side. Let's look at the phone, we're greeted with. It looks pretty nice, it's a 6.2 inch display phone, so it's pretty big, but not too big. It's it.

For me, that's around the perfect size um like the s20. That is a pretty good size for my hands. I really enjoy having this around the six to six point: five inches, which is pretty good, so hold it's pretty comfortable as well for me, so we have the papers and stuff the booklets explaining user manual and whatnot, and then we have our sim ejection tool. Let's put that to the side, oh yeah. Also, we don't have expandable memory on this.

We have a 128 gigabyte variant with no expandable memory. We have our cable and then we have our. I believe, 18 watt charging brick if it writes it somewhere. If I can find it um, I don't seem to see it anywhere, but this is an 18 watt charger. Let's put that back, and then we have our OTG connector to transfer data from other devices which is nice to have I'm not gonna, even bother taking it out, just keep it in there.

Let's put that back real quick, so that's the accessories that come with it. Let's put these to the side and let's look at the main thing we were here for the phone. Let me go ahead and take off this wrapper. Uh, Google doesn't have pretty good wrappers. I don't like this wrapper it's kind of weird, and then it just looks weird when you first get the device.

So let's just go ahead and take this off real quick. So nothing too fancy not all the good sounds that you'd expect from other phones. But this is our screen. We're greeted with our screen. As you can see, we have a punch, full camera right there, a punch, hole, camera cut out and that's about it.

That's an 8 megapixel camera which isn't the best, but it's okay, especially with the software that google has for its cameras. The back is a polycarbonate. It's not like the Google Pixel 5, but the pixel 5 does have a polycarbonate coating on the top anyway, so nothing too different in the feel feels pretty nice, and it is a perfect plastic that Google uses here so nothing to complain about there, especially for the price point of 4.99, and I will be leaving a link down below. There is a discount right now, a 40 discount, so I'm just going going to leave that down below in the description, so you can check it out for yourself. If you're planning on picking one of these up uh with the 40, you could go ahead and buy one of the Google cases, which is what I did, and I will soon have a review for that case.

So, let's get back to the phone overall, pretty nice design feels pretty nice. It's pretty compact, especially with how big phones are getting nowadays, a six-inch device. Isn't too bad, so it's a pretty enjoyable size. I guess my hands are around this big and I don't have too big of an issue with this. I can reach all the corners easily, so it's pretty good size.

Let's go ahead and turn this on real, quick uh. We have our white power button if we can focus right there. Let me go ahead and do that. Okay, so we have our white power button. You just click these just to test out the click the clicks and the sounds, so they're pretty easy to press and nothing too hard about it.

Uh. Also, let's check out what else we have here. We have a headphone jack on the top left. We have our speaker grilles on the bottom, and then we have our USB port plus. Furthermore, we have another speaker right here.

So dual speakers, which is great for audio um- that's around it. I guess uh. We don't have too much nothing else in the box that we haven't seen all the usual stuff that you get. We have our device right here. I will soon be posting a video when I turn this device on.

I will have like a first impression, video just talking about the device a little, so that's it for now um. If you enjoyed this video, don't forget to like and subscribe and see in the next one.
