Google Pixel 3a XL Review

This is the Google Pixel 3a Excel, it's a great phone. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. It's the larger version of Google's new, affordable version of last year's pixel, three flagships. It's got a lot of the same technology as last year's flagship, but it does lose a few of the bells and whistles to get that price cut. So what's missing, the body is polycarbonate, not glass. The display is a lower resolution at 1080p.

There's no wireless charging, it's not water resistant. It's got a less powerful, Snapdragon 670 chipset and there's no second wide-angle selfie camera. Now, in my opinion, those aren't the worst features to miss out on a smartphone, especially when you take into account that Google is attempting to market this to first-time smartphone buyers. Instead of spending upwards of five hundred dollars on a smartphone, users can get themselves acquainted with the Android experience for three hundred and ninety-nine dollars or thereabouts at least that's the case in the U. S.

in India, the Pixel 3a starts from around 40,000 rupees and the pixel 3xl. This one starts from around 45,000 rupees. Now, for that much money, you could consider the one plus 7 for around 11,000 rupees, less or the one plus seven pro for round five thousand rupees more and while both miss out on water resistance and wireless charging. They both do get much better specs when it comes to performance like processor and RAM and arguably better designs as well, but before we write off the baby pizzas. Let's take a look at some of its power points.

It's got the same camera as the pixel 3, which basically makes it the best part phone camera in the world. Arguably, for instance, just take a look at some pictures. I've gone with this one's Google Night side camera. The pictures are pretty incredible and even the portrait shots are quite well done. There's a headphone jack, something that most androids say for maybe Samsung's lineup have done away with completely the battery on this larger pixel.3 XL is actually better than the pixel 3 XL at 3700 mAh, and when you take him to account the lower resolution display and the more frugal processor that adds up to some better battery life, you can even squeeze for Google Assistant, and you get steered speakers I mean sure you won't be playing pop G on this for hours or breaking any benchmark records. But if you want a large screen, a great camera and decent enough battery life to get you through the day, the Pixel 3a Excel doesn't look like a bad deal.

That being said, I still wouldn't recommend buying this phone, at least not in India. Just because of that price point bones, like the OPPO r17 VIVO next and the 1 + 7 are just offering better value for money. My advice would be to either buy it from the US for around 11,000 rupees, cheaper or wait for the new one, the pixel for which is probably going to come out somewhere in October.
