Google Pixel 3a Unboxing By Tekno Talks

Hey guys welcome back to the channel technical talks here, so today we're going to be unboxing. The Google Pixel 3a I'm doing this unboxing, because I thought I'd pick up the pixel 3 since the 4a is about to come out, and I just wanted to see what Google's thoughts on a budget phone would be and what how they made their budget phone. So this is around 400 USD on the Google Pixel 3a and then there's a pixel three AXL I have the 3/8 here with the smaller 3000 William hour battery. It has a snapdragon, 675, processor, 4, gigabytes of RAM, 64, gigabytes of storage and that's all the internals right there. So it's a budget phone, but this budget phone has a pretty well, it's not a perfect chip, but Google has implemented and taken their camera from the pixel 3, which had the best camera of its year and applied it and put it on the pixel 3 a, so that's one of the things that Google did. Normally you see companies that they have like these glass back for their budget phones and then um, pretty terrible camera quality and then the screens not that good but Google they made they put the best camera on their phone.

But they're like the build of the phone it's made out of a poly carbonate. Ok, so that's about it right there! So, let's open this box up. Ok, let me cut this area or take these off. So all this should go out. The box first just has the pixel 3 right here.

The Google logo says Pixel 3a, and then it has the side, and then it just says: hashtag team pixel, and it has a Google logo with a nice picture right there and then just Google on the other side. So let's open this up, so the top portion has nothing in it. So that's empty right. There put that aside and then the phone is in here just took the phone out put that to the side, there's a seal around it, it's wrapped and then let's check out what's inside the box first, and then we'll get back to the phone. So just there yet to keep the phone, what you usually see and other phones, we have manual I, guess sim ejection tool right here shows you nice image and then some Google picture stickers with team pixel sticker as well.

And then what else do we have right here? I? Guess: that's like a set-up, guide or manual. Something like that. So let's put that back in the path to the side, um, so we're greeted with an OTG connector right here, which is pretty nice. It's to transfer your files from your other devices, USB see if I'm able to take it out. Okay, USB see to USA.

So you connect your other phones charger onto here and then connected onto your pixel and your phone. And then you start transferring your files. So that's pretty nice. Let's put this back I, don't want to lose it, and then we're greeted with their cable USB c2c, which is pretty nice. So this phone supports 18 watt fast charging.

It doesn't have the biggest battery, but it's nice that we have fast charging with this phone. It has a 3000 William hour battery, so charges up pretty fast um. So that's nice right there put that to the side. And last but not least, we have the power brake right here. So pretty solid power brake has like a matte finish on it.

If you can hear it, and then it's polished on this side right here, um yeah, that's about it for this right here. Is there anything else, nope I, don't see anything else. So let's take this all to the side, there's a wrap around it. Let me take that off. Really quick, okay, that right there, here's a phone, so the phone first impressions feels really nice in the hand.

You know it might be plastic or polycarbonate, but it has a matte finish. Has the Google vibes going on it, the matte finish and then the glossy top area, the 12 megapixel camera, which shoots one of the best photos you can get I guess since it's brought from the pixel 3 Google logo right there, our flash or fingerprint I'm pretty sure that works pretty fast. If it's the same, all the buttons are on the right side of the phone, so the power button in the volume buttons and then anything else on this side, nope I think there's a sim ejection area right there. If you can see it, that's where your SIM card goes in I, don't think this has a SD card slot. Well, that's pretty unfortunate, but I! Guess that's! Okay! You get 64 gigs it'll be enough and then for your photos, you'll just use Google photos.

We also have an 8 megapixel camera right there, a speaker from firing speaker right there and then a bottom firing speaker right here, but the sound only comes out of one side, so it basically just gives it gets the sound out of one side, or at least it has one speaker in there and then, if the sound I guess just travels into the other one well, I, don't think it does anything when you cover it or USB port right here, you're, not seeing a headphone jack right thing is Google decide to put it on the top. It is kind of weird comparing it to all the other phone manufacturers like Samsung Apple, whenever they had, it was always on the bottom. Oh, it's going to be a different experience when using this phone, especially with like that phone jack on top, it might be better when you're, just holding the phone like this well I'm, not sure if I'll have to test it out and everything. So overall, this phone for the price. It feels pretty nice.

It might slow down over time with the snapdragon 675 processors, but if you're not doing anything heavy with this phone like playing tons of games or like cod or pub G or whatever, um, and you're, just like checking the emails browsing the web going on Instagram Snapchat, Twitter YouTube, just watching movies overall I think it's okay um! There are some bezels right there. If you can see a bezel right there and a bezel right there, they're pretty big bezels um, it has a 5.6-inch screen and then yeah. Overall, it has all that screen, so you're getting the always-on display, which is pretty nice, I love how Google makes their always-on displays, or at least a way, there are looks. It looks pretty clean and nice, so I hope it's the same on this Pixel 3a um. So that's about it.

Overall, this phone is pretty nice I'm going to do some run some tests on this battery test speed tests, all that, and hopefully this phone will hold up against all the other phones that cost way more than this.
