Samsung S20 FE camera vlog test

Good day you beautiful people welcome to ISA. Does tech where we do tech in your life in style. In this video we're checking out the Samsung Galaxy s20 Fe? Yes, there is a pink version of this that I've been wanting. Unfortunately, I was not able to get it, so we have the second-best thing. We have it in red, and it's such a pretty phone now I know that this phone has been in the market for a hot second, so I'm going to skip the unboxing in this video. We're gonna talk about the things that I like about this phone, and also this is your quick camera vlog test, let's go! First, this is a glorious looking phone and I know I really wanted the pink one, and I'm sad- I don't have that version, but the red looks so good too, though the s20 phones are still technically big phones.

I enjoy the size of this particular version more, it's not way too big for my teeny hands and my teeny pockets. Unlike the note 20 or the s20 ultra, that matte back looks good and feels good. It doesn't feel cheap at all in all, it's a premium looking and feeling phone now. The screen on this thing is flat, and it depends on preference if you like that or if you don't like that, I mean personally, I like curved screens, but I also know that a lot of people don't like them anyway in true Samsung fashion. This is a bright and colorful AMOLED display and that's 120 hertz, this phone packs power in processing.

I mean it's not called fan edition for nothing. Basically, Samsung's reasoning here was to take everything you love in their flagship line and put it in a more affordable device and, of course, people of powerful phones and the Samsung s20 Fe definitely performed in that aspect. I had no issues with all the things I'd be doing on my phone. Definitely it's a flagship experience on the outside and on the inside. Now, let's move on to the camera.

To recap: this thing packs a 12, megapixel, wide angle, camera 12, megapixel, main camera and a third eight megapixel camera on the back in that tiny punch, hole and like literally that punch hole is teeny, that is a 32 megapixel selfie camera right, let's get to the vlog. No vlog test would be complete without the dogs. So for this video I started with the dogs. Wow excited wow, bruce chill why you eat like this, it's time for you to pick one. Do you want strawberry banana pork broth for broth and mint or watermelon coconut, which one she doesn't care? So we have different flavors like pork, broth and peanut butter and watermelon, coconut and strawberry banana chew, which flavor? Would you want to pick one? You just ate everything voil? video, oh my god that rule though okay, okay, not the most photogenic dog.

We love you anyway. These are cute, but also like really, really gross. Oh, my god. Oh my god. I know it isn't new, but I definitely still love the single shot feature on Samsung phones, especially for moments like when you're feeding, ROG streets and there's just so many things happening.

It's such a useful thing. I can definitely imagine even more scenarios where that would have been useful and, like you saw in those samples. Not only do you get nice photos, you also get like nice clips and gives. Now, let's try the selfies' hello. So this is the Samsung s20 Fe, we're shooting right now and the front facing camera can shoot in full HD.

This is 60 fps and well, I'm kidding. This is 60 fps, the other one, the first clip that was 30 fps, but this phone can also shoot with its front-facing camera ultra HD. This is ultra HD in 30, fps and okay before you come at me and tell me that it makes no sense that I'm showing you samples, because I'm not going to export it in the same resolution. Listen up sometimes like you can see a difference when you switch from different resolutions on phones like even just the processing changes. So that's what I'm trying to show you guys um yeah.

Now we are at ultra HD 60fps. This is that this is your sample. I'd be back at full HD, but it doesn't end there. Not only can this phone do front facing video in all those resolutions, but it also has done you notice the difference? Yes, this is live a beauty filter. So, as you can see, it's not so harsh.

This is the maximum beauty filter and I can still see some blemishes, but that's fine. It just makes you look so fresh um again you guys, I like beauty filters, because I use them like makeup, like you. Just use them to enhance the real you, but again being imperfect is perfectly okay, so love the real. You just reminder we're not done yet on video mode. You also still have filters, so you have the different filters here, and you can switch out the intensity depending on taste.

There is always also this really cool my filters option, which allows you to take a certain effect from an existing photo and apply it to your video. Okay. So let's say I want to pick this one. Oh you see, you see the difference, so this is pretty cool like if you have sort of a feel to your Instagram. This will help like to make everything look aesthetic right now, let's see what this can do after shooting, so you have all the basic um edit options here.

Crop mirror! Oh, what's this draw around the area you want to crop snap to shape, let's say my face: oh look: oh the school and then okay, okay, okay, select, okay, wait! Oh, I wanna yeah. How do I? How do I? Okay? Oh, that, is freaky, but also a very cool option. I've not seen this in other phones, so that could be useful. Just not the way I did it wait. Did I save it? Oh! No! Oh! No! No! I do not want this saved.

Let me okay, let's go back to editing now. We also have different filters here and then still the filter that we made earlier. We have different edit settings, brightness exposure, contrast, saturation, etc. Okay, let me say I don't want that. Oh stickers, you have your emoji different cute stickers.

That's cool you can scribble. There is text, there is oohed still some beauty mode. Okay, I don't want to do anything here. What can oh there's spot? Corrector? That's so cool, so there's an option here where you can actually like single out the spots you want to take out. Okay, I like this.

I can't believe that Samsung has this built in because most of the time you use a separate app for this nice, okay, nice and then, what's this oh blur, okay, okay, I want a blur. Did it blur? Now did it blur? Let's do eight, oh, remove red eye. Okay, let's see how much of a difference this made from the original. So this is what we edited, but this was the original. Do you see how my pimples disappeared? Amazing? I, like that beauty mode better than the automatic filter, because I can just pick out the pimples that I don't want on my face and then what we have is a single take mode for selfies.

Now we try this with the rear camera on the dogs, but this will be especially useful if you want to take your own Instagram photos, but you're a little awkward like I'd. Imagine Food shots would be nicer this. So all you need to do is take the photo and then land like do stuff. Let's see what we got. This is a nice photo and see they already put filter for you um.

This is a quick video, so that's going to be nice for your stories or something and yeah they stylized everything nice yeah. This is most definitely the best. They even pick out the best one for you right this time around. Let's try vlogging with the rear cameras. Let me show you our plans, hello.

It decided it's me again, we're still here. Okay, we're gonna start out the plant tour in my room because I do have a couple of plants, but first off this is ultra HD, 60 fps and from here you can do 1x up until whoa 10x. There is no wide on here. So it's looking like 60fps does not let you do white. This is now ultra HD.30 fps, and it allows you to do y. This is wide 1x, 3x and 12x.

Finally, full HD 30 fps. We have wide one x, 3x, 12, x, okay, let's get to my plan, so I have a couple here. I made sure that they were beside the window, so they can get enough sun. I have a oz plan, a piece lily. Furthermore, I don't know what this is, but I forgot the name, but it's sort of pink.

This is 3x by the way and sort of pink in the middle. So I like that and then one x we have, of course a pathos. I don't know what this is either. I for I don't know the name, but my mom has a very nice garden, so she has so many plants. Furthermore, I like okay, let me zoom in, so you can see the leaves.

This is 12x right now, wow, look at my thumb, yeah, look at the middle of the leaves, they're red and so pretty and sorry those are the dogs again and finally, I have my pink Antonio, my little pink baby. I love them. Okay, so when you keep plants indoors, make sure that you rotate them, so they don't sort of like bend to one side trying to look for the sun anyway, let me take some photos. Oh my gosh, you guys, so I was taking photos supposedly in my plan, but then I ended up selling like doing a mirror selfie, and then I ended up finding this mode. This is live video mode.

So, yes, you can do video with the both. That's nice! I like this mode. I always like this mode. Okay back to photos of the plants, but first, let's take a live, focus, mirror selfie all right. Let's move on to the lanai on the left is normal.

Video on the right is super steady mode. Now, obviously, this mode needs like a lot of light. Now we're shooting with one x of the super steady mode as you can see, it's significantly like cropped in, and it also needs more light. This should look better if it's like the brightest of the bright, but if you have less light well, you're better off, not using it all right we're on wide, and this is the lanai right now we have a host of plants, two one eggs. We have a couple of auteurisms a fortune plant more potholes, and you know what I can't even explain, but there are a lot.

So let me take nice photos what's going on here, we're shooting this vlog. So I'm thinking for me, and I'm super excited. Okay. I don't know why there are pillows there, but ignore that so, okay, that's my mom ignore, but yeah something came for me. I'm excited! Let me show you these are from my friend Vera, and she makes really nice jewelry follow Vera metals.

You guys and I ordered a couple of rings. So, let's open it up and also this is gonna- be a great opportunity to test out like macro mode capabilities. Finally, we go on to the night mode again, I'm not leaving this house unless absolutely necessary, so we're just turning the lights off in my room. Let's go so the last and final part of this video would be the night mode now, like I said, I'm not going out, but I do have that lamp on, so we're going to test it by turning the lights off. Oh, I'm purple! Okay.

So this is video right now wide three x, one. Let's take some photos, so I have to say this, and I did not expect that because this is what I've been taking samples of, but yeah the night mode photos they look so good. Ah, okay, so selfie video in low light is not looking good at all. Wait. Let me check it's just it's really dark right now, so we're going to try to take selfies.

There are three options we can try here, the normal selfie, and then we have the automatic flash selfie and then night mode selfies, let's go, and that was it for our vlog test with the Samsung Galaxy s20 Fe though it may not have all the bells and whistles like the ultra Samsung phones. I feel like this is still a great device for vlogging for photo taking. Basically, I think of it as the Goldilocks of the Samsung phones, it's just right and also very pretty with those different color options, plus the price tag on this thing also isn't ultra that's it for today you guys, let me know what you think about this vlog test. Let me know if you have any questions about this phone.
