Gaming on iPad Air2 in 2020 ( ft. iPad Pro)

What's up guys now here hope everyone is doing well, given what is happening right now around the world David the past few weeks, I spent quite a lot of times on mobile gaming, especially Call of Duty mobile version on these two iPads to my left is the iPad Pro 11 inch 2080 model. Am I right is the iPad Air 2 air 2 is running about five and a half years old now, so it's still holding up pretty well. To my surprise, both iPads handle the game rate really well in their own ways. What I surprised most actually is this iPad Air 2 is 5 and 1/2 years old, iPad Air 2, even when recording the game and play the game at the same time, so the gameplay is pretty smooth right. First, let's talk about this iPad Air 2 now granted the quality or the setting. You can only go up to mid-medium in the graphics settings so because the limitation of hardware is the CPU and the graphics performance in this instance is the metal performance simply is showing its age a just bit too old, so the game and cannot take advantage of the hardware or hardware.

It just simply cannot cope the high settings by saying that the overall gaming experience actually is very, very smooth even on the medium settings, although occasionally, or sometimes you will feel jittery during the game, especially when you're panning on running or shooting at the same time, and if especially when everything has happened at the same time and lost also even a lot of graphic goals and trees and the gun, fight or other player is around you. So that's where you feel a jittery on the medium setting, but in the low setting everything works as expected, quite smooth, but obviously the actual graphical quality. It won't be as good as on a medium setting. Now, what surprised me most on this air 2 actually is I could play the game and a record game at the same time. Now that actually is impressive to me.

I didn't realize that occurred. I recall the entire game just by using the screen recording. Now, if you see here now, there actually is the screen recording. Now that will take away a lot of a CPU performance, let alone this five and a half years old. The tablet now the game play their game recording on the low settings.

I didn't really feel any lag any de tree. Only if you have a again, if you have a lot of things going on in that scene, that you may feel a little jittery, otherwise very, very smooth. But if you recall in the medium setting, and then you will feel a lot of jittery, quite often, you will see when you're panning, when you're running so suddenly stop and start. So, if you do play a lot of I, don't know fast shooting game in that particular setting you might want to avoid it, and also, if you're on the high setting the Partridge oohing will be quicker as well. I have all the game plays from these devices I will leave the link down the description.

If you guys want to check it out and yeah to see yourself and what is the quality of the recording now, on the other hand, the 2011 iPad Pro it handles everything really, really well even on high settings. Now it actually is not surprised to give this more updated hardware on these 2018 iPad Pro, although now it's about two years old now still handles everything really, really well. Having said that, what I love to see is better CPU performance for fast recording conversion. So right now, if I record a 20 minutes gameplay, so it takes about 4 to 5 minutes to convert videos and save it. So if I do that time, a recording and playing at the same time that actually will affect the performance, especially the settings, are very high.

You probably see occasional or jittery doing, but after the game has saved a finished conversion, so you will not experience any lags at all right. Intimacy controllers support a supported, PS4 controller, Xbox controller, and also you can buy the controller from the Apple Store, as well of that will work and are very mind. Xbox and PS4 controller always put in game play so, which means when you actually want a game start, and you can use controller. You can't really use that to navigate within the games or within the iPad within the system. It's security for game I.

Personally, not huge fan of this, because the experience is very smooth, so especially the joystick, as still rather prefer. The touchscreen on the tablet to me is a lot easier for me to use it now. Let's talk about the battery performance on the period ?, the battery dropped from 92 percent to eighty-six percent. After about 15 minutes of gameplay on the low graphic setting, everything is low now bear in mind that from 92 to 86% is also what iPad was recording the gameplay as well. Now, if you didn't record the game, simply just play it, and so the battery maybe last longer and on the end hand, if you increase the graphic setting to medium and that also will impact the battery life as well on the app tab pro the budget choked from 30% to about 24% after again about 13 14 minutes gameplay.

So the actual the battery consumption roughly between those two in terms percentage for rough, the same amount here of time actually perform roughly the same, bear in mind. The settings are different, so on the Apple Pro, the setting is high. Everything is high at the same time recording so that, naturally, will consume a bit more power. A bit more battery compared to the iPad Air 2, but regardless on both iPads I am very, very surprised. The battery actually lasted pretty well and also the performance on both, especially that idea to the overall experience actually is really, really smooth.

Alright guys. That was my personal experience on a particular game. On this particular two iPads now I understand. There are a lot of games, simple controllers, a lot of game you see, or take advantage of the hardware differently and also the battery drains differently on different games and also on different settings. These ages focus on just one game and my personal experience, if you guys, have different experience on different games or different the battery drain or tippet different performance.

Please leave the comment down below, and we can all share alright. This is it see you guys in the next video stay safe.
