Galaxy Z Fold 3 vs Galaxy Z Fold 2 | These 12 Needed Improvements! By GregglesTV

What is going on guys welcome to Gregor's TV in this video we're going to talk about the Galaxy Z, fold 2 and the improvements that I want to see in the Galaxy Z fold 3. Now I don't think all of these will come true. I don't even think half of these will come true in the z fold three, but it's things I would hope they would fix at least some of them. Some of them actually don't bother me at all. Some bother me a little. Some bother me a lot.

So let's talk about these things. First, the display the outside display it's 6.23 inches right now on the Galaxy Z fold too, there are rumors it could be bigger, there are rumors, it could be smaller. It's kind of you know going back and forth. I would assume it's going to be bigger, but the problem with this is its still too small. It's like long and skinny, and that does nothing for me.

I'd rather have her. It is short and fat. That's what she said, but it's just way too small like when you bring up the keyboard. For instance, it's way too small to type at least for me anyway, like look how small that is like it's tiny, like a little, it's like a little uh miniature like people size that would use that, and then my your fingers have to be super skinny. It's like you should use like the tip of a pencil to type on it.

It's ridiculous! Furthermore, it's way too small. Maybe when the s pen comes out for the z fold, three, because that's one of the rumored things that's going to come out to this, then maybe that would make sense to type on, but I just I want it to be thicker and shorter. That would be perfect. I don't think we're going to see that I think you'll see a very familiar design to what we have this year and last year. But again it would be something I'd like to see improve.

The other thing is when you are on the outside display it's only running at 60 hertz. So you don't get this. You know ultra smooth display. It doesn't feel that bad I'll be honest with you. It runs pretty well, but it is something I think most people would like to have that.

Can that familiar familiarity between the inside display on the outside the inside display the big one does run at 120 hertz, so it feels nice and smooth and beautiful, but when you close it is doesn't it's 60 hertz. So I'd like to see that improvement as well, and I think a lot of other people would to just so it just feels like the same on both ends of the phone next up. I don't think it will happen with the three. I think it will happen, maybe in the four or the five or the six whenever they get. You know deeper into the manufacturing of this device, but make it thinner when it's closed, and maybe they never can.

Maybe they will, but it's a fairly thick phone when it's closed when it's open, it feels very thin, which is great. But when it's closed it's thick like real thick like thick, that it feels like a brick when it's in your hand, so I'd like to see it thin out a little again. I don't think we'll see it in the three, but it is something hopefully in the future that we'll get next up is storage, so here in America we only get one version of the Galaxy Z fold. Two we get a 256 gigabyte amount of storage with no SD card support. Now in China, I know you can get a 512 gigabyte version, but that will all leads into the same thing.

First, I think people want, I see it from you guys, all the time you want SD card support, put it in. I personally wouldn't use it, but I know some of you would so add it Samsung. I mean why can't you? Why can't you add a little SD card slot on here, so people can get more inexpensive storage and then the other part of is offer a 512 gigabyte version or even a one terabyte version of this phone. It's the most premium phone that you guys make it's the most expensive phone you make, give the option of having one terabyte of storage or 512 gigabytes, at least everywhere, every place that people buy this and then still maybe have a one 120 or even 256 gigabyte versions of the phone. So it's a little cheaper and people can get that and as well.

Next up is water resistance, so this phone has zero water resistance. So if you dropped it in the water, or you used it in a heavy rain, shower there's potential that this thing will be destroyed and will not work. At that point, we need the ip68 that we've had in all these other Samsung phones and really almost every other phone for years. Now, at this point, I know it's an it's its you know this is a brand-new invention in ways, and you know it's such a marvel of engineering that obviously it's difficult. Obviously it wasn't.

If it wasn't difficult to make this water and dust resistant, they would do it, but it is- and I understand that, but it is something that people want, and I would love to see it in the Galaxy Z fold. Three another annoyance of people not so much me, but I know some people don't like it is you can still you know you can see that fold in there and maybe that's again. It's another engineering thing, I'm amazed by this phone, but I know it's some things that you know people want gone, they don't like it, but to be honest with you, it doesn't really get in the way, but it would be amazing to not ever see that fold and most of the time you don't. But when you do you see it. It might don't really distract me, but it might distract you especially coming from a traditional candy.

Well, I dropped that candy bar phone that doesn't have it so at that point it'd be great to you know. Have that completely removed? Am I right this next one probably will be fixed, at least that's what the rumors are saying and that is the camera cut out on the display? So right now you get this fairly large camera cut out on the Galaxy Z fold too. The rumors of the galaxy z43 is that it's going to completely remove that and the camera would lie underneath the display. The other part of that is when you get something like you know, like a note phone where that camera cut out is actually smaller, so either way, I'd either want to see a smaller one, which I don't know if you can see that, but I'd like to see a smaller one, or it completely removed either way. But it's really really huge.

On the Galaxy Z fold, two so smaller or completely removed is a thumbs up in my book. I use my Galaxy Z fold to a lot and I always have to charge it now. This is and does have compatible 25 watt charging, so you can charge it up fairly fast, but I would love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love off, I'd, love to see 45 watt. But, let's be honest: we've we've done tests on the channel. It doesn't make that big a difference.45 versus 25. I would love to see 65 watt charging come to the Galaxy Z, full 3, to really pump up this thing and make it charge faster than ever.

So I can. I don't have to wait at all. I can just wait a few minutes, but let's be honest, with 30 minutes and like it's basically fully charged. That would be amazing. I'm super hoping they add that it probably won't, but I'm hoping they do next up.

I know they're going to fix this in the galaxy c full 3, but I have to bring it up the cameras. Now. The cameras are not awful. When you take photos, and you take videos, they come out generally good. I've used it on my vlogging channel, my family vlogging channel Gretel's world.

If you want to subscribe, and they come out decent, but improvement is needed when I take a still photo, I still to this day would rather take a still photo of my pixel phone. I think pixel still takes better still photos generally now, when you're outside you know, you can get some great photos with this, but when you're indoors, and it's using like lighting like this or just, or it's kind of dark it just doesn't take, I don't feel like amazing photos, so I'd like to see that improved and then videos, obviously as well I'd like to see 60 stabilized in this when you're walking, because I love 4k 60 video so that just better cameras overall back front. All that, please, I know we're gonna, see it, but just knock it out of the park. My last two ones, let's talk about them, so the first one is s pen, there are rumors, there's going to be coming an s pen to this. I personally don't need an s pen with this, but I know people would love to use an s pen on this huge display, add the s pen and, lastly, price.

The thing is so freaking expensive, it's two thousand dollars. Most people are not going to purchase this phone. We need to at least get down to about 1500 bucks, which is probably years away if ever coming to a device like this, so you're looking at this, probably again for the z, full 3 and that's the rumors anyway, being very similarly priced to this at about 2 000. Now I wouldn't be surprised a little if the maybe dropped 100 bucks, but I don't think it's going to drop any more than that. But again the rumors are sticking that the price is going to be about 2 000.
