Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2 Rugged Android Smartphone - UNBOXING

The Kyocera doer force Pro ?, let's open up the box and see what's inside detail here, and I'm doing an unboxing, so this in the box is the Kyocera aura Force Pro -. This is this super rugged phone, that's great. If you're a construction worker or an emergency response person or hunter Fisher, if you go kayaking whatever it is, it is so tough that not only is it waterproof, but you can take video underwater with this phone really cool now AT&T is not gonna. Let me test that feature out, but we're doing an unboxing anyway, we'll figure out what we're going to do when I get to the full review a little later down the road. Now, let's give it a look so first off. Thank you, AT&T, for sending this phone for me to check out.

It is a pretty tough and rugged phone, so I do have the protective film on the display. Let's take that off. So, let's see if I can get this thing to power on there's a lot of buttons here and let's see this might be the power button. Let's see or this one of them is gonna power on this phone. Here we go okay, so this is deed.

Like I said: Kyocera aura Force, Pro ? powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.2 gigahertz, outscore CPU, and should be booting up. What's going on here there we go, you just took a little while, let's see 64 Gig, ROM, 4, gig of ram 4G, LTE or GSM, and the screens actually pretty interesting. This is a 5-inch dragon trail pro display, which means it's extremely scratch and impact resistant. It also is not exactly the highest resolution, it's 1920 by 1080. So that's just your regular 1080 HD TV images.

A lot of the fancier phones have much bigger display as much bigger density, but you know I'm sure you need it. This is still at 443 pixels per inch, so it's still pretty dense, as can look very crisp. In fact, this already looks pretty crisp. It is a smaller phone. If you look on the back, though it is clearly tough and rugged, there is protection and impact protection on the edges.

There's not much I'll be able to do this phone. That's gonna. Make it get hurt right, so that's great I can probably check this out of my car on the highway and if I'm assuming I could actually go back and find it probably be fine right, it is actually built to mil standard 810g. So if you are tired of your phone breaking because they're so fragile right well, this is not a fragile phone. This is not the latest iPhone.

This is not the latest Samsung. This is a whole tough, different kind of phone from Camus era. Now it is powered by Android, but there's not much. I can tell you about the software, yet because I want to actually demo it and take pictures and videos and everything. But let's talk about the microphone, that's awesome.

They do some neat things. They have four microphones built into this phone so that they can cancel out ambient noise if you're using it as a speakerphone or a regular phone, and it also supports what they call push-to-talk, which is kind of funny. Really push-to-talk is basically, let's pretend it's a walkie-talkie, even though it's an actual phone, but it does enhance push-to-talk, and it even has a dedicated button just for that task. So all you need is to get some software and again for, like an emergency, responder, very, very helpful, very useful. Now, camera wise.

There are two rear-facing cameras. The 13 megapixel is the big one. There's also a fork. A rear camera gives you a super wide 135 degree photoshoots. If you want that and like I said it's all completely waterproof it's this is particularly the camera is protected with what they call a sapphire shield.

So you can actually take this in the pool, and you can make videos while you're in the water super fun right, no extra case. No, nothing just take your phone and use it in hot tub. Whatever no problem, the front-facing camera is a five megapixel camera. That's going to be plenty enough for those critical selfies, while you're rescuing people at the top of burning buildings, I mean hey. If there's no photo, it didn't happen right.

Battery Wise has a 30 240 William hour battery, which gives you 21 hours of talk time, and that gives you wireless charging and fast charge and what I'm not doing is unboxing. So you know what let's unbox the darn thing top display. Nothing, then we got this. Flap opens up comes with a little booklet. That gives you everything you need to know, even though I probably just told you half of it and then what else is in the box all right.

Also in the box is let's see this is, should be a USB charging cable, so I can get it open. Apparently, not only is the phone rugged, but the packing is right. Yes, USB-C charging cable because on the bottom, under the waterproof protective flap, if you can open it up opens from the side, you have a USB-C charging port. It also supports Wireless. So of course you can just drop it on a wireless charger, but if you are going to use that, then, let's see it also comes with very handy- comes with a wall plug to go with that USB-C charging, cable, it's gonna, tear all this stuff.

Apart, even the plastic stuffer right, it's great so wall plug USB, C charger, the phone and I think that's literally everything that comes in the box. It is otherwise completely empty, so what it doesn't come with is it doesn't come with any headphones or earbuds? It doesn't come with an SD card, though I believe you can put an SD card in to expand the memory I'm, not exactly sure where you do that. But if you actually are these probably on this side, let's see so if I pop this off, that's I might require a screwdriver to pop off, but I think on this side is actually space for it, my probably a micro SD card or something, but that would you more storage, space of 64 gigs isn't enough, but again the real feature of this phone. Obviously you know this is a pretty bare-bones phone, but it is tough and rugged, and if you need a phone, that's going to be tougher than you are. Then this might be your phone.

So, let's talk about the price, but before we get there, let me ask if you can subscribe to my channel, really appreciate it. I get a lot of gear from a lot of companies, and I'm super honest with. What's good and bad about all of it and put with this particular Kyocera, I will definitely be reviewing it, so you want to come back, and you want to check out the full review with sample photos and videos and everything now price wise. This is the Kyocera aura force pro 2. Let me say that differently: Kyocera aura force pro 2 and It's for $49.99 at AT&T comm. If you want to just buy it outright and this couple of the carriers that have this, but I work with AT&T.

So this is the AT&T version and here's the thing is: AT&T has payment plans. So if you can't drop four hundred and forty-nine ninety-nine for a new phone totally understand that you can pay $15 a month for 30 months and that gets you this phone in your hands and an incredibly small bump on your cell phone bill. So definitely a cool phone fascinating. I love that it's just you know who doesn't like doing this with devices, because we're so worried about how precious and sensitive and fragile our devices are. This is not that device really looking forward to trying it out and testing it and with that I think I'm going to try to figure out where you put that micro SD card before my next video, it's tricky when you're doing an unboxing, because you can't really spend a lot of time digging into the components because you want to have it be fresh and new right.

Let me know in the comments, if that's how you look at unboxing reviews, so appreciate that, and I'll catch you in video.
