Galaxy Tab S6 20+ Questions Answered

When it's going on guys Greg list. He asked you guys to send me over some questions about the new Galaxy Tab s. Six and here it is, and I'm going to jump into your questions. Let's start right now, the first one comes from new, wonder boy. Hopefully I get that right. Is it ninety Hertz or 120 Hertz, like the iPad Pro he's talking about the refresh rate on this display, and I've got bad news for you.

It's none of those. It's actually sixty Hertz. So if you needed something like, but if you want a display, that's going to be ultra smooth, like those ninety Hertz and 120 Hertz display you're, not going to want to go with this you're going to want to go with the iPad Pro. But honestly, you know from what I've used in the past, with these higher Hertz displays, like the 1, +, 7, Pro and the razor phone I honestly, don't know notice that big of a difference, especially in day-to-day usage, maybe you can I, don't the tablets very, very smooth, so don't be too concerned with that. This is a fantastic tablet with a beautiful display.

Next question comes from angel, Garth, I, saying tab for comparison, and you know I mean like it's such a big video for this, but just to go over a couple of things. This does not have a one of the big things is this doesn't have a headphone jack, whereas the tab as for does also tab, as for at this point is over a year old. This is brand-new, so updates are obviously going to last longer with this in terms of you getting them. So if that's a big deal, especially with Android and Samsung, sometimes they don't support these devices forever. Sometimes they do it.

For you know two three years: if you need the know if you need the longest amount of support at this point in time, go with this one. Also, this will. The tab at 6 also, obviously has better specs. It has dependent upon which version you choose up to 8, gigabytes of RAM and 256, gigabytes of storage, the tab s4 and the tab. S6 both have micro, SD card expansion.

So if you need more storage, they'll both do that and so, and the prices are very similar at this point is what I looked on Samsung's websites like $600 for the best tab: s4, that's the one with 256 gigabytes of storage and this one, the tab s6, which also has 256 gigabytes. Eight gigabytes of RAM is like six 75 or 700 bucks. Something like that. So at that point, with such a small price difference, I would say just go with the Tab s 6, it's your gonna, get obviously again longer support software, wise and just overall you're getting a newer tablet. Next question comes from Bryson Clayton, he says: is it worth it has been searching for an Android tablet? It's actually worth buying I get an iPad through work, and even though I'm not a huge fan of it, I use it because I have it we'd love to invest in an Android tablet.

That's actually worth it without a doubt. This tablet is totally worth it just some short time, I've been using it and overall it's got to be the best Android tablet available currently on the market. Now, why amazing speakers? The speaker sound amazing, there's four speakers on here. The screen is beautiful, AMOLED, 2k display and other than that. The software is smooth and awesome.

You get use of the s-pen here, so if you want to do any kinds of drawings or writings or anything like that, you can do all that kind of stuff on here. You got my little list here still going on. What do I want to add? Maybe I want to add flour. So it's cool. It's you know you.

Can you do all that stuff with this s-pen? You also which I love to turn this into a since. You do a lot of work turn this on to the Samsung decks, and you're going to have the ability to use this like and a desktop operating system to run. Furthermore, you know desktop type apps on here, so it's so cool to have this ability as well to be able to come in here, and you know, control this and do basically whatever you want. I love. If I think it's one of the coolest things that they have, so you know.

Is it worth it totally worth it? It just depends on if there are certain apps, that you need that aren't on Android and let be something you want to check out and also remember you buy this from Samsung. You have like 14 days to return it. They don't charge a restocking fee. Best Buy does charge a restocking fee, but Samsung doesn't, so it's if you're going to buy it. I would definitely recommend you buying it through Best Buy, because they have that no restocking fee, and it's a great Tao of badass think I love.

It super ko Jin 911 six. How good are the Wi-Fi radios? My tab has three constantly keeps dropping the signal matter where I am it makes browsing the web an arduous chore? Also, does it have a drawing app that are at least compact, comparable to apples procreate, the perceived gold standard I am considering upgrading to an iPad Pro 12 point 9. So to answer your first question: I haven't had any issues with the Wi-Fi radios, I have the tab s4 as well, and I've never had issues with the Wi-Fi mat as well. Tab s3 I had that as well. Didn't like that tile, a tablet was buggy, I mean was not so buggy a, but laggy is anything, so I'm glad I cut rid of that one talus 4 was super smooth.

This is even smoother in terms of performance and then, like I, said, Wi-Fi haven't had any issues with it so hopefully, and I haven't heard people having issues with this yet as well either, so I think you're going to be fine in that regard. So, like I, said, I've been using this for a few days since I got it and again no Wi-Fi issues at all with this tablet, so I'm going to say completely fine. As for drawing apps that are comparable to Apple's procreate. I'll be honest, we think I don't use the s-pen all that much I'm, not familiar with a procreating app on here. That's going to be allowed you to do crazy stuff.

There probably is, but it's just a matter of googling it or even chatting with Samsung support at that point. If you guys know in the comments, definitely let him know Cristiano Quintero says: how do you think it's gonna work with the ecosystem watch phone, air phones and tablet? So obviously it's gonna work perfectly fine with a watch I. Don't know why you would use this tablet with the watch just because it's with a watch you kind of want to be either I, don't know you! That's really I feel like a watch. It needs to be connected to the phone, not a tablet, but it would work. All you would need to do is go into their gear, app that you would download from the Google Play Store and be able to go in there and set everything up, but again, I.

Don't think you would want to do that. I think it would be kind of weird, but you totally could do it. As for you know, connecting your phone or your air and tablet. The air phones are gonna work perfectly fine as well. I'm going to do a separate video on that on how to get them set up the phone as well.

I've done a video and that'll probably be up out of time this videos up or shortly after about how you can look at your calls in your text on here. It's very easily. You can make phone calls and text, and they'll come right from your cell phone and be received and sent as well from this tablet. Brandon Baker's asking: can you run full office applications index? Can you sync photos, messages, etc. ? With the galaxy phone like iOS does thanks to keep up the great video so DEX you have the office mobile and I generally.

Don't use this of you honest with you, but you, so you can run off its mobile on here. If that's completely finding them yeah sure, then you can run all that stuff and and and run your mobile apps, and do that. As for syncing, your photos messages. You can do that with Google photos. It's basically in the cloud, so I just use Google photos anyway.

So yeah, you can see Google photos on here. I'm not going to bring it up because my personalized photos, but you can definitely see that on here and look at your photos that way. As for the the know, otherwise you could also look at it through if you sync your photos to your galaxy cloud, but I still like Google photos just because it's completely unlimited Shannon busters asking it does have Kerry support or just Wi-Fi. So currently, just the Wi-Fi versions out I would assume the LTE versions will be out in the next few weeks. At this point, Christopher Sullivan, how is it in comparison to using a tablet from Apple I'll be honestly I do have the iPad, Pro and I haven't been using it for weeks since I've had it I'm going to sell it to cover the cost of this tablet.

I'm just an Android fan I like the way you know the notification system is I like the overall using of the quick toggles and the settings menu and the customizations and everything about it. So much better. That's so to me, if you're really into the iPad, you might not like this, but if you want something new on something, you can really customize and dig your teeth into. You're gonna love this so Darnell records asking which type C headphone jack would work best on this tablet by the official one. If you didn't know this does not come with a headphone jack, it only comes with the USB type-c, so you can either use Bluetooth headphones or you can connect an adapter at the bottom of our USB type-c earphones or get an adapter I'd get the official Samsung one that's supposed to work the best.

It's not out just the moment of me, making this video, but I'll link it down below. If you want to pick one out, Lois Parana saying please more tips with the tab. S6 I'm actually going to do a separate video for that I'm. He means like tips and tricks. So when you're ready for that, I will do when I'm ready for that I should say, I'll be doing a video on that roll Anaheim's are saying: how is the battery life and have you tried sticking the s-pen to the side of the type of stick? So we'll put it here, you can see it stays at the top there, but if you put it, it only stays like certain way so that this part has to be like hitting the top-up here.

I, don't think it stays on the sides, it might stay at the other side, but ultimately it definitely works. There goes it stays that way as well. So there's a couple ways, and then it charges on the back right here, it's a little stick. You just have to make sure it lines up this part to the back and that's how you charge the s-pen really cool the S Pen comes with it, so you get that savings like with the iPad Pro. You have to buy the pencil completely separate, which is like 100, something bucks, so you can get fairly expensive really quickly.

As for the battery life, I am honestly that I haven't used it just straight up, and I haven't charged it to 100% yet at this point either, so I haven't got an amazing battery life. Yet, but they're saying you get 15 hours of video time with it, and overall I noticed like if I once I get a 200% I'll get a few days out of at least I did with the tab s4, so I have just as good hopes are higher with this one because of the efficient Snapdragon 855 Mackenzie make I pad says how well does the keyboard work with the tablet? Can the base version of the tab at 6 alongside the key, would be a viable laptop replacement, so I? Don't that the ordered the keyboard attachment for this tablet? I, just don't have it at the moment, so unfortunately, I can't tell you how great it is or how bad it is I'm waiting for it to arrive once it does, though I'll, let you guys know, and so until then I can't say anything about it, but laptop replacement. It depends on what you do. I mean it does have you saw, it does have office mobile, it does have DEX. So if you want to, you know turn this into a know: desktop replacement.

You kinda can, at that point, with the multi-window function and the ability to connect a keyboard and a mouse and use the trackpad and all that stuff on there. So yeah there's some stuff you can do on here in terms of doing that which I love, I love. This is probably one of the few tablets you can actually turn in from a tablet into an actual desktop environment as well. So I would say yes, it's possible. It just depends really what you need to do on there.

What apps are important to you as well Samantha boys does the Samsung Galaxy Tab SO come in Exodus and Snapdragon version like the Samsung phones do, and if they do then is the Snapdragon version. It's still faster I'm assuming you live in the United States, so there's only going to be the Snapdragon version. I haven't heard of the Enos version. It probably is I guess in Europe, but regardless I haven't heard too much about it. So I don't think it matters either way with that Brent browser saying.

Is it worth getting over the s5e, if not worried about the s-pen I'm totally happy with the s5 II I get if all you're doing is media consumption. I would tell you just stick with the Tab s5e, because I don't think you're going to see huge gains with this over that one I mean it does. Obviously it's a better spec tell tablet I'm you have the s-pen if you're, not using the s-pen and all you do is consuming media stick with the tap live you, but if you need more of like everything in terms of you need more storage, you need more RAM, you need a better processor. You need DEX I, don't remember! If the tab 5, you can do DEX I, don't think it can get this one I mean there's, there's, there 's's there's all that you might need, but if you don't need that, then just stick with you top five e. All the boosted clinic is asking I'm waiting on the LTE version and probably pick it up, I'm tired of my iPad Pro.

How do you like it so far? Is it worth buying I love? It is like I, said I. Think it's a fantastic tablet. I keep saying it. The speakers are amazing. The screen is beautiful.

The software is fantastic from decks to just using regular Android it's smooth. It's easy to use the s-pen works. Great I have no problems with this tablet at all. It's its like I said it's been awesome this far and I. Thank you, if you get it, you're gonna, absolutely love it.

It's its! The there really is not much anything to not like about this tablet. My Close is asking. Does the note 10 S Pen work with the tab s6, he said I know the tab. S6 has gestures, just like the note n S Pen does. Thank you well, first, here's the two pens right next to each other, completely different sizes, also completely different connections.

With the note pen, you have to plug it directly into the device to get it to sync to that device with this one. You have to do the same thing, because it's well similar this one's going to connect to the back of the tab. Essex right via this little part here and the note 10 pens does not have that. But you can write with this, and you can see you can see like I, don't know if you can see on the screen the little market it sees it, but there's no way for me to do the gestures like I'm. Just you know, pressing and holding it is just you can't.

You can't connect it in that way. You can still control it and do all that kind of stuff. But you can't do any of the gestures. I can't bring the camera up or do anything like that with this unfortunate, because there's no way to sync this specific pen to a tab, s6 zoom Maggie is saying: can you plug a USB, C, pen drive and transfer files from into it? I, don't currently have a USB-C pen drive, but does it work? Furthermore, I know it's worked in the past with the tab. S4, it's worked in the past with galaxy phone, so you shouldn't have any problems with doing that.

If you need to transfer files to and from is the greater majority going to do that? No, and what do you mean is basically, is you literally plug in, like a USB, see thumb drive literally right here in your ear transfer files from that drive to this? All you would do is just download a file manager app, or you could even use the files app on this, which is right here. So you would just open that app and be able to download it from there, and you could, you know, use your ability to transfer files with this app and last question of the day comes from Howard Osborn. Can you pair a PlayStation controller to the tablet scene? One about the Xbox controller. Haven't personally tried this, so let's try it together. In my bat, my light died that I had point in this.

That's why it's kind of dark at this point and I want to get the video done and whatever, let's just try this, so basically it says to press and hold the PlayStation and share buttons on my PlayStation 4 controllers, to put it into pairing mode. So let's do that PlayStation and share button alright, so it looks like I have this in pairing mode? You can see it blinking right there now. What I'm going to do is swipe down I'm going to go into Bluetooth and let's see if that way, it looks like it's right there, wireless controller. Yes, let's type, what let's hit wireless controller, and it's connected, that's how you connect the PX station for control. It's connected right here.

Let's see if I can control the what's going on here, hit the home button. That's not working! It's probably gonna just work with games. Yes, not really it doesn't. Let me use the operating system with it, but it's definitely connected just to show you wireless controller, and again it's not there. So yeah you can connect con truck.

You can connect the PlayStation 4 controller to this anyways guys. That is all the questions. I got, and hopefully I answered them all, and that was all about the Galaxy Tab at 6. If you want to purchase it, it's linked down below an awesome tablet. Great speakers great display.

It's fast, the apps work, fantastic I. You know a lot of people, you'll read reviews and be like. Oh, the herbs or the zoom they're, not good and be honest with you. I have had barely any issues with any apps on this tablet in terms of like them not working properly on here, I can, I would put money that basically any app that you use for the most part, if not all of them perfectly fine, when you need to use them, I, don't think you're going to have any issues so don't be too concerned with that guys. Thanks for watching, don't forget to subscribe, see you down the road peace.
