Galaxy S9 Android Pie First Look WOW, Pixel 3 XL News | GTV Daily Rewind 17

What is going on guys welcome to Greg Miles TV daily rewind episode, 17 we're doing this for 17 weeks, which is freaking crazy, I can't believe it's been that long so far, but anyways guys. This is my video, where I play all the weeks. Past weeks view videos for tech news, and you can consume it in one single video I make it really easy for you and last week was pretty big. If you're a pixel fan great amount of pixel news with photos and information about the pixel 3 and pixel 3 XL, we also got our first look at what Android Pi is gonna, look like on the Galaxy, S, 9s, 9, plus, and there's some big changes coming that way, plus lots more so watch the episode guys. Let me know what you think in the comments down below. Let's get into the news there is going to be, it looks like a brand-new color, a fourth color for the pixel 3 phones.

Now this comes from the Twitter account of Class van den our, and he says here there's a fourth color in the source code, hashtag pixel 3, and he shows what he found in the source code. And it looks like it's going to be a pink color, because when you look at it, and then you look to the right of the photo, it says body, phone, pink and then over to the left. It's kind of like this. You know naked type, tone pink 2 of the color and that is gonna, be a very popular color, I believe for females, especially with the pixel, because right now, you're looking at white you're, looking at like a black color you're, also looking at a mint color, and then you're. Now, looking at this pink color as well and lastly, is about 1 plus they've, officially come out and said that they're going to be releasing a Smart TV sometime in 2019.

Now, if you don't know who won plus his day, release very inexpensive high quality smartphone so like mid 500s for a really, really good, smartphone, and he's come out and said that his vision to make a smart TV with seamless connectivity to a user's smartphone, he also wants to add the functionality of smart AI assistant, so you'll be able to have probable assistant built-in, similar to Amazon, Alexa or Google Assistant, but with more visual element. Also, OnePlus TVs in early stages of development could be launched next year. It will post release software updates to fully realize its vision of what they want. This TV to look like, and also the TV via 4k, LED, TVs and no OLED. Here it will run someone else's OS, most likely Android and I have built-in microphone.

So you can talk to it directly now, depending upon how they price this TV. It could be a big competitor, obviously, probably won't be able to go to a store and watch at this TV, maybe well, maybe it won't, probably not, though just so they can save cost on. You know having to ship it to stores and have it on display at stores. They'd have to pay the store, a price to have it at the store, so you're. Looking at this one's probably I mean this TV's, probably going to be direct to consumers kind of like the way their phones are right now, but could be interesting if it's well priced and has a timer of specs.

Let's get into the news. The first story of the day is about the Galaxy, s8 and no.8, and if you have one of those devices it looks like Samsung is pushing out an update right now that adds an are emoji. So those little you know, people in little animal things that you can take a picture with to capture your face with it and also super slo-mo video. So if you have one of those devices that no date or the s8 check for that update next up, if you have a galaxy s, 9 or s, 9, plus the unlocked version which I have, which I have basically boxed up and ready to sell that version of the phone has an update that has been pushed out as well for the camera. That adds a feature to the slow motion, video of that camera.

So if you have that phone, it's been a long while, since we've gotten an update on that phone, so definitely again check. If you have the unlocked version of the s, 9s 9 plus check for an update and install it for sure renders of the pixel three and three XL have leaked out from a case manufacturer, and if you look at these photos, they look exactly like. We were expecting in all the other phones from the pixel I'm. You've got that notch on the front that we don't love, you have it on the pixel three XL anyway, not the pixel three. So if you want a non-notched, new pixel, you're going to forget the smaller one but yeah it looks exactly the same as what we've been seeing and there were rumors that Google was reaching out to other YouTubers, asking them there for their beat downs of what they thought on the pixel three XL notch, and it looks like just based off these- renders that it probably maybe did not change still in the back.

You get the fingerprint sensor which I love and then that amazing pixel camera and the last story of the day- and this is to be expected. iPhone, XS and XS Macs are officially shipping right now. So, if you have one of those phones check, you're shipping, and you're most likely will probably receive it on Friday for sure so again check that because they are starting to ship out. As of today, let's get into the news. The first story of the days about the PlayStation 1 PlayStation 1 came out well in 94 95, that's 1994-95, and when I would, that was over 90s kids and at least my teenage years were, and I was a big PlayStation.1 fan I loved X to play it a hell of a lot, and it looks like they are bringing a digital, PlayStation 1 console to market. That would this up for pre-order right now.

It's $100, and it's coming out on December 3rd, and it comes with 20 games and 5 of those games even announced all the games, but 5 of those games are Final. Fantasy, 7, jumping flash Ridge Racer for Taken, 3 and Wild Arms also included, are two wired controllers, a virtual memory card and an HDMI cable, and it's going to give you the ability to play this PlayStation console it's 45% smaller than the original PlayStation, and you can actually very easily again with that HDMI cable to the TV. So, if you're excited about that console, let me know in the comments down below or if you just like, PlayStation 1 again. Let me know in the comments down below and the last story of the days about the galaxy s: 9s 9, Plus, Android, Pi or Android 9.0 update. It's going to bring some major changes to the galaxy s 9 line of software and the way that you interact with the phone so checking out this first screenshot you're going to see that everything is just a little more rounded I.

Actually like the way it looks. It's very modern and sleek looking I mean starting off from the bottom. You can see the icons for the navigation buttons down there. You see the back button, the home button and then the recent apps button, I, don't know I think they just look I, don't slightly better, more modern, more sleek, and then, if you work your way up on that middle screenshot, you'll see the quick toggles and then right below that you'll see notifications just again more rounded, then, rather than they are now just the word now, they're, just square or rectangular, just kind of you know fit into the style of the phone the way it is now with the rest of the software, and then you see the recent apps button. This is the way I have my Was.

Have my recent apps. Now, if you use good block, if you don't know what good luck is, I did a video on it, and it allows you to do stuff like this, but I already have my apps. Looking like this and I don't mind this way at all. It's a little. It gives you the ability to see the whole screen, even though it's a little window, so you can see that whole window, that's in front of you and see, what's going on in it.

So I like that ability for that the next screenshot we're gonna look at is gonna, show, motions and gestures, and you can see how motions and gestures you get lift awake. Smart stay, smart alert, easy to direct call all this stuff we've kind of had before on here, but it just again. It just gives you a look at the settings and how the settings are gonna look versus what they look like today. You still have the battery optimization and then under display. Then you still have all the really same stuff that I've we've grown, don't know before the other ones.

The last one we're gonna look at is navigation bar. This is big, because this is different on Android Pi already, and if you look at the bottom there you can see, show no of navigation bar and that's gonna, be where you can normally would hit the back the home and the recent apps button, or you can go. You can do the home back recent actions button. It looks like what it does it hide those buttons and for everything you'll just swipe up. So if you want to go back, you swipe up from the bottom left.

If you want to go home, eat swipe up from the top won't open. Every snap should swipe up from the bottom right and that's the way it looks like they're doing it. Rather than doing it. The know general way that google has its looks like Samsung's going to be doing with their own way. So, let's get into the news.

The first story of the day is all about Amazon. They refreshed all their eco products. So let's talk about those. The first is the echo Auto, which allows you to take Alexa on the road. So it'll power by the 12 volt, the cigarette lighter, socket or USB in your car and then from there.

It connects either Avaya 3.5, millimeter, audio jack or Bluetooth, and gives you basically has eight mics built into it. You can talk to it like it's Alexa, I, don't know why you would do this. I would think you'd, probably either use Google or if you're, using an iPhone I would assume you would just use. Siri I was in that I think this is kind of a weird product I, just looking at it. On the on a surface level, I would not recommend it unless you're a huge Amazon fan, but even then I mean you can have Amazon built the Alexa built you know app and onto your phone.

So again, I think it's kind of a weird product. It's only twenty-five dollars, though next up we have the echo dot. The echo dot has been improved, the sound is now 70 percent, louder, still same $50 price tag and all these products are going to come out. October 11th- and this is basically just a smart speaker. We then have the echo Plus, which is a premium sound with built-in smart home hub, so it has the ZigBee hub.

That's built right into it, priced at 150 bucks, it's supposed to be more powerful, it's a three-inch subwoofer built into it, and it's like I said: if you there's cool thing, what this one is, if you have you know, for instance, smart lights, I knew, have them hooked up via this thing, you can still control those lights. Even if your internet goes out, we then have the echo show which they did have an echo show. That was hideous and look like an old school TV. This is an updated one and there's no front facing speaker grille on there. It's the screen, it's three inches larger, so I believe that brings it up to about 10 inches.

You then have updated resolution. It's now, 720p 5, megapixel camera built into it. Dolby processed, sound and the processor is still the same. The price tag two hundred and thirty dollars, so it's fairly expensive, October, eleventh release date and lastly, they have the Amazon fire. TV recast, that lets you watch and record over-the-air HD TV broadcast, and with this one you'll record, you know ABC NBC Fox, anything you can pick up.

Over-The-Air has two HD tuners, so you can watch one record one, and it was 500 gigs of storage allow for 75 hours of video, but then from there you have to watch the video either back on like another fire, TV device or Android or iOS device, or you can't even watch it on the fire show, which is the mean the echos show, which is that smart display, but anyways. This is gonna, go for two hundred and thirty dollars, or you can get the upgraded model that has double the storage and tutors for two hundred and seventy bucks and our last story of the days about that Samsung. Forex event, if you don't remember, I put a video I'll, give you a week or two ago about an event that was Samsung putting out that said: 4 X 4 times the fun, and now we have a little more information and that's as for extra fun. A galaxy event watch here on October 11th 2018 at 1700 Malaysia time, so it's going to be in Malaysia, and it's supposed to be at least what the rumors are come out is the Samsung Galaxy, a 9 which is a mid-tier phone. It's not going to be a phone that probably a lot of people are dying to get their hands on s9 and known and should still be better phones.

So, looking like the 9 for the 4 times fun, and it will have four cameras on the back, at least that's the rumor anyway. So, let's get into the news. The first story of day is today is iPhone release day all the iPhones, except for the XR, have been released today. So you got your XS in your XS Max, and your Apple Watch Series 4 again released officially today and delivered officially today my wife got. Hers has not opened it.

Last time, I told you guys she was thinking about switching over from pixel back to iPhone she's. Actually, thinking of staying with the pixel after not being too excited about the way the picked the new iPhone looks and she kind of likes to pixel at the same time, especially with the pixel with the reviewers saying that the pixels' camera is still better than the new iPhone. So that's the latest, my wife was switching back to iPhone. Next story is all about the Galaxy S ten I see universe, who is a leaker big time leaker, especially with Samsung things has put out a tweet confirming the model numbers and screen sizes of the new Galaxy S tens, and he's confirming that there are three models. You can see the galaxy s mg9 79-73 and nine.

Seventy-five and four screens looking at five point, eight flat display for the nine seventy, which should be the most inexpensive out of all three of these models. In the five point, eight inch edge displaying the 6.44 inch edge, display that flat displayed at five point. Eight inches is actually going to feel fairly big in your hand, in terms of that screen size, that's a fairly big phone. So let me know in the comments down below which Galaxy S ten- if any of those are you most excited about getting or would you get in? Our last story of the day is about the pixel three XL and the pixel stand now nine to five Google posted this animation that was ripped from an APK showing off the pixel stand. So basically the pixel stand will be a wireless charger for the new pixel three and three XL phones, but then, at the same time it's going to turn your phone into a Google Assistant, kind of dock thing, so you'll be able to see photos or information on the screen.

Ask it questions kind of like a smart speaker built right into it. I, don't know if there's a speaker built into that actual stand or not probably not be cool if it was, but it doesn't look like based off this look of this. That it is the other interesting thing is. Is this isn't always the case? But if the phone looked like this phone I would be super happy, no, not very thin, bezels again, I'd be very happy for it, but I don't think it's going to happen that way, but if it did, I think it's going to make a lot of people excited about the pixel, 3 and pixel 3 XL, and then to contradict that picture that was on the pixel stand of the phone. These are leaked images of the pixel 3 Excel, showing the back of the phone with the single camera and the fingerprint sensor in it looks like a white color and then on the front.

You see that fairly big notch at the top, which is now very exciting, but maybe you'll learn to love that notch on the sides of the phone. You can see that one of the buttons is that lime green button, the power button and I like that, like the accented color for it. So overall, that is what you're looking at for the pixel three XL. Let's get to the news. The first story of the day is about T-Mobile, 5g, home internet now, they've come out and said to the FCC that if Sprint and T-Mobile are officially able to merge, they obviously want to merge those two companies.

But it's now it's up to the FCC regulators. To allow this to happen. It looks like they've given out some details on what their 5g home internet would look like. So as for how many people that actually reach looks like it would reach 52 percent of the zip codes total in America, which ends up being about 68 percent of the total blanketed area that Comcast currently serves, and then from that you're. Looking at speeds of 100 Meg's, all the way up to speeds as high as 500 Meg's, whereas with Verizon 5g home internet, which currently only release reaches I.

Think about three cities: you're looking at three hundred Megs, although we up to one gig, so Verizon's is still looking like it's going to be faster. They didn't say anything about pricing or anything like that. They said they would like installation to happen by the consumer rather than sending a tech out to the house. I guess the way Verizon's work Verizon needs to send a tech out to your house, so they can do something outside your house in order to receive that 5g signal. I think Verizon will eventually be able to have people do their own installation because they'll have been able to do it inside their house instead of doing something outside.

But that's the plan so far for T-Mobile's, 5g, home Internet and the last story of the day is about that 4x event that Samsung's are going to be throwing in Malaysia on October 11th, and we have some rumored specs about that phone first. This should be the Galaxy a 9, so the cameras on the back one of them supposed to be a 24 megapixel primary sensor with an 8 megapixel, wide angle, sensor that has 100 20 degree fields of view and then the other to one of them. She will be a 10, megapixel zoom and then a 5 megapixel zoom, as for reported specs on the phone you're, looking at a snapdragon 660 with a six point, three eight-inch full HD plus resolution and then a battery of 37 20 Williams, and then it should have a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone for a story of the day, and I'm back see. Both stories of the day are about the pixel three and three XL. This photo came out maybe two days ago, and I didn't really cover it at the time, because we had another photo of the pixel three XL at that point.

But this is from Evan Class, who was a leaker in the community of leakers, and he put out this photo said just in case. You needed to know what the phone looked like, and again it's just more confirmation, more incriminating evidence of what the pixel three and three XL will look like and, as you can see, you've got on the left hand, side the pixel three with just a very traditional looking pixel phone, two speakers at the top and the bottom. And then you get the two cameras in the top left and then on the pixel three XL you've got two cameras at the top, with a notch cut out and then at the bottom. You have that speaker now. You might not like the way the phone looks, but I read a couple of comments, and it's true: it's the the phone basically is made for people that want pure Android that maybe aren't huge into design, but maybe like a little of design and basically just want a great software experience and I think the pixel 3 gives you that nice, clean Android experience and the last story of the day is also about the pixel 3 and 3 XL, and it's the live wallpapers.

Furthermore, you know wallpapers that actually move. These wallpapers are actually kind of interesting, and they're, interesting because I guess they move, meaning that which is normal for a live wallpaper, but they move. When you get notifications, when you move the phone, you like you tilt it or turn it also, they move when music plays I. Think that's kind of interesting. You know it's gonna.

It makes your phone seem more lively. You could probably do this with any phone with some software. Obviously I, don't think it's going to be just to the pixel, but I think that's that's kind of an interesting thing to have that built right into the phone built into the wallpapers that you can enable very easily to have that stuff going on. Basically live wallpapers I, like it, I think it's a good idea. So there you guys go that's your news for today, thanks for watching, don't forget to subscribe new videos every single day.

My question out to you guys is: what is your favorite wallpaper app or I? Don't you just use the ones that are on your phone? Let me know in the comments down below thanks for watching, see you down the road perks.
