Galaxy S7 Active vs. Galaxy S7 Drop Test!

(clicks) (air escaping) (several switches click) - What's up guys? David here, and Samsung is saying the new Galaxy S Seven Active is their most durable phone yet. So in this formal style of drop test, we're gonna be dropping it right alongside the regular S Seven to see just how much tougher the S Seven Active really is. Let's get to dropping. Round number one, back drop. Three, two... (thuds) (thuds) (slow motion thuds) (techno music) The S Seven Active suffers from a few scuff marks on the back, although most of them wipe right off, while the regular S Seven's back just completely shattered, easily giving the S Seven Active the win in this first round.

Round number two, bottom drop. Three, two, one. (thuds) (slow motion thuds) Both phones sustained about the same amount of damage after that drop, with a few scuffs here and there along the bottom, so we have to call this round a draw. Round number three, side drop. (thud) (slow motion thud) (techno music) Neither phone came away unscathed after the side drop, but the S Seven Active's damage happened only to the bumpers completely protecting those side buttons, giving it the slight edge in round number three.

Round number four, face drop. (thuds) (laughs) (slow motion thuds) (techno music) And the S Seven Active survives the front facing drop, making it the first to ever do so here on the channel while the regular S Seven's glass not only shattered, the internal display cracked as well, knocking it out here in the fourth round. Bonus round. OK, so since the S Seven Active handled those first four rounds with ease, it enters the bonus round where it'll be dropped over and over again until it can't technically make a phone call. Three, two, one.

(thuds) Still good. (thuds) (laughs) That was like a perfect plant. (multiple thuds) Oh shit. Oh, it still works. (multiple thuds) It just doesn't look like it's getting any worse.

(multiple thuds) You're ruining our block, Samsung. (multiple thuds) Yo, I'm gonna be sore tomorrow. (multiple thuds) OK? (multiple thuds) Will this be the moment? Nope. (multiple thuds) Dissin' our machine. (multiple thuds) This is freakin' amazing.

(multiple thuds) Final one? 50? In for 50? (thuds) It can do 50. So, after 50 drops and no cracks or shattering anywhere, we decided to call it quits. The S Seven Active handles drops like a boss with the only real damage to report are its scratches to the screen, but considering that we dropped it over 50 times, the S Seven Active becomes the most durable phone we have ever tested here on the channel. Anyways, that is it for me and this video. Thank you guys for watching, and as always, I'll see you in the very next episode.
