Galaxy S20 Ultra Unboxing + 8K Camera Test!

Hey guys its Krystal, and today we're checking out the s20 ultra. So this is a big boy of the s20 lineup, with a 6 point.9 inch display is got all the cameras as everything, including 5g, which it says right on the box and that's actually something that the whole lineup includes. But let's, let's see the inside there, it is I actually got a chance to see this in San Francisco, but now I'm getting to spend more time with it. Oh, this is the cosmic gray wow. This phone feels so big right now. Look at that! Look at all the cameras on the back, so just to break down this camera craziness back here we technically have three cameras and the fourth one is a depth sensor.

We have an ultra-wide, a 108 megapixel wide-angle, a 48 megapixel telephoto, and to ice off the craziness that has a hundred times some in it. Putting that aside, though, let's put this down before we power it on and see what else is in the box. We have our charging brick our superfast charging, brick. We have our charging cable and AKG earbuds and finally, we also have this flap in here, which has our paperwork and sim ejector tool, and that's it. That's all! That's in the box right now here we go and just to quickly show you how big this phone actually is.

I have my 11 pro max with me here and yeah. It's so tall. It's like slimmer or more narrow. Furthermore, it's a longer display. Furthermore, it definitely feels lighter than the 11pro max, but it plays with your mind a bit because those cameras definitely make it top-heavy either way, though I'm super excited to test out these cameras on here and if you want to see it compared against the 11 Pro max drop a like and don't forget to subscribe.

So we're all set up here and one of the big new features of this phone is that we get a hundred and twenty Hertz refresh rate by default. It is set to 6e, so they'll have to go into settings and change that yourself under display motion smoothness high refresh rate, and now we're at 120 now another thing by default. This screen is also set to 1080 the kind of bummer thing about this. So if you did want to bump up to 1440p resolution, you can't do that at the same time with 120 Hertz. If you try to apply it, this little message will pop up, and it'll bump me right back down to 60 Hertz.

So in this case you can't get your Samsung cake and eat it too, and I don't know: do you guys prefer resolution or refresh rate, so where you'll see the biggest advantage of a higher refresh rate screen is when you're scrolling and navigating it's just so super smooth and flowy. We, of course, to have that whole punch for the camera up there. That kind of just highs in the display right now, because of this background, so let's try something a little more colorful to see what it looks like. Let's go for this pink flower set on home and lock screen there we go. This is kind of similar to the note 10, where that hole-punch moved to the middle on the SN I believe it was in the top right corner, but I definitely prefer the middle.

This really doesn't bother me that much, but I'm going to watch a video to see what that feels like with that hole-punch there. So this is the latest cover by my amazing little sister. Gabby is actually uploaded in two to one. So you can't even see that bunch right now, but let's fill that screen and yeah. It's definitely there, but it really doesn't bother me that much also, thank you guys so much for all the love on her last cover that I showed, if you guys want to check out this one I'll link it down below so screen, looks amazing as usual and from there I really want to test out that 40 megapixel selfie camera.

So let's quickly see what that looks like here, we go cheese and let's do a wider one. It's really not that much wider, but it's like subtly wider cool now for the rear. Camera I also took some quick shots with that hundred and eight megapixel wide-angle camera and the 48 megapixel telephoto, and this is an assumed dinner. Anything I'm going to have to go somewhere cooler to test out that hundred times. OOM so definitely say two for that in the full review now quick tip since is not set to 108 megapixels by default.

You have to change out yourself and one of these quick settings on the top. The ratio settings it'll be the first option on the top left, and now you got all the megapixels. The other big feature with this phone is that it shoots 8k video- and you may not know this, but this video that you're watching is actually a 8k. Here we have 8k video. Let me know what that's looking like got a flower here, so you can check out the colors and detail and I will be bringing this outside too.

But this is an indoor quick little initial test, so it's pretty crazy that it can shoot a K. Let me know what you guys: think of the quality of it and yeah. Those are my initial thoughts on the s20 ultra stay tuned for that full camera review. If you guys want to sneak peek at bat, you can check out some pictures on my Instagram, but thank you guys for watching. Don't forget to subscribe, and I'll see you later.
