Galaxy S20 FE Software Update - New Camera & Fingerprint Reader By Jimmy is Promo

I have a newer version of the fingerprint reader and also with the camera. Hey everybody welcome back to jimmy's promo, and today is December 14th. It looks like Samsung just pushed out the latest software update for the galaxy s20 Fe. Now this version here ends in atl2. The size is 230 megabytes with the security patch of December 1st. Now this one is not a large update this one's, not the Samsung one UI 3.0, with android 11. That one's over 2000 megabytes, which is right around two gigs.

So with this one being right around 230 megabytes, it's just going to help with some uh device, stability and bug fixes, but I did go through four or five different applications and even the biometrics just to see if there's any newer versions after this update. Now, if you don't know where to find this update, you do want to go to the very top click on your settings. Button scroll all the way down to where it says, system updates. Then you go to download and install now. This one did not.

Let me know that there was an update. I actually searched this one. Yesterday and also earlier today, but I didn't notice it until right now right around 10 o'clock at night. So this is where you want to go through download it. You do mod, you do want to make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi.

It doesn't do it if you're connected to LTE or 5g, just to make sure you have a more stable connection. Now, usually, at this point in the video, I usually state that, if you guys are brand new here at the channel of jimmy's promo make sure you guys hit on that subscribe button, as well as the bell for notifications. So you get notified for all future videos. So now that you have this, one downloaded just go to install now, and then it's going to install everything for you and some of the applications that we will be taking a look at right after this phone uh turns on it's gonna, be the camera, the fingerprint reader, the face, recognition, messages and internet. So if that's something that interests you guys, if you wanted to see, if there's brand-new versions for those uh, they are written down, and we'll take a look here in just a second.

So it looks like the software update is done and complete. So how about we go through just a few of these applications, so the first one we'll take a look at will be the camera. So you just want to go inside the application info and on the bottom. Originally it was 10 5, 2 23. It looks like here it's 10 5, 2 29, so it does look like a newer version of camera is on here.

So maybe something uh, improving the nighttime shots, or maybe the autofocus. But you do have a newer version of the camera. Then I went through the biometrics security patches. So let's go through here. Let's take a look uh so for the fingerprint was five zero? Twenty-one, this one's five, zero, zero! Twenty-two, so it looks like you, have a newer version of the fingerprint reader on the galaxy s20 Fe, but for face recognition is one: zero! Thirty-four one zero thirty-four, so face recognition is the same.

Now, let's move over inside Samsung messages, so originally with this one, it was eleven five, ten, three nineteen, so 11 5 10 3 19. So it looks like to be the exact same and then, let's take a look at the internet uh this one over here was originally thirteen zero. Two nine uh, thirteen zero, two nine so looks like we do have two new app version updates, which would be the camera and the fingerprint reader after you do. This latest update. So now, let's just kind of go through.

Let's see, Samsung Galaxy storage just to see if anything has popped up after this update. Sometimes when you do an update to your phone, it doesn't really do anything to the apps right away that we find you know like we did in this video, but sometimes I do throw in the updates over here. So there really wasn't anything there inside the galaxy store, but we did find two app versions. We only looked at five different things, so you have a newer version of the fingerprint reader and also with the camera.
