Galaxy Note 9 vs Galaxy Note 10 lite (Full comparison, analysis and RANT) Which one to get? 🤔

Hello everyone welcome to the channel. My name is Alexei, and this is NATO tech in this video I'm going to compare the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 versus the Samsung Galaxy note in light I'm going to go through all the specs give you my own opinion regarding certain things and also take this opportunity to have a little of a rant at Samsung for some decisions taken in recent years. Of course, this will all be my personal opinion that could well be very different from yours, so feel free to comment about it. In the comment section below. Let's start with the days of release, the Galaxy Note 9 was released in August 2000 18 almost 2 years ago, and the Galaxy Note penlight in January this year, 2020 next, a screen size, type and resolution. The Galaxy Note 9 has a six point: four inches Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 by 20 960 pixels in a 516 PPI density.

The Galaxy Note penlight has a six point: seven inches also Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 in a 394 PPI density. The Galaxy Note 9 has an uninterrupted screen with two Bessels top and bottom on the top bezel. We find the front-facing camera. The iris scanner face unlock a scanner which combined gives you what Samsung calls the intelligent scanner, which is very fast and reliable. Also, the earpiece the Galaxy Note in light has this whole punch for the camera and the face unlock sensor, and here comes my first rant this whole punch.

If you have seen a couple of my previous videos, you already know what I feel about this and that I've never really digested this. For me, this shooting exists, and it doesn't make any sense all for this nonsense, quest of a baseless phone full of compromises that the average consumer doesn't really care about. Once again. Yes, I know that this is much worse, but it doesn't make it right with this. You are compromising the integrity of the screen for no real gains.

So when you hide this whole punch, this is what you get a top bezel, which is bigger than the top bezel of the note 9. For me, the whole punch serves no purpose at all, and you can see that, for instance, when searching the web, there is no real gain in terms of a screen. Size. I can basically see more here on the note 9, with this six point, four ancients down what I can see here with the six point, seven inches, and it is even more noticeable when you go into the website. Let's see check this out, I can see.

So once again, you can see more here than here. You can see for article here in only three here. The thing happens when you're watching videos, let's say YouTube once again, despite this screen being 6.4 inches, it is actually a little bigger than this one, which is six point seven inches. Even if we zoom in this one still looks about the same and completely clear and clean, no hole punch once again, no real gains. This phone is narrower, so this is for a mini gain on this side of the screen with the hole.

Punch doesn't really enhance the view. Experience the same when watching videos on Netflix, see by yourself, and let me know why you think it is all an illusion and a commercial stunt. That's all you'm just shocked and disappointed to see and hear so many of tech reviewers, many of whom I really admired just ignoring or downplaying this some even pressing it seriously. Samsung should have come for something like this, with an even thinner top bezel and kept all the necessary sensors like on the note, 9 or even add, 3d phase, lock, plus maybe another ultra white soft lens, and leave a clear and clean screen with zero disruption. Not even this silly hole punch.

Fortunately, a lace Samsung got rid of this pill, shake her out on the screen, which is even more annoying anyway. Let me know what you think in the comments down below okay: let's talk about the mentions. The Galaxy Note 9 has a height of one hundred sixty-one point: three millimeters and width of seventy-six point: four millimeters and a thickness of 8.8 millimeters, anyways 201 grams, the Galaxy Note and light is a little taller with one hundred and sixty-three point: seven millimeters height. It is narrower with a width of seventy-six point, one millimeter and a thickness of eight point: seven millimeters and it weighs nine 199 grams I would have preferred the Galaxy Note 8 light to be as wide as the note 9 now build quality. The galaxy no 9 is made of glass back and aluminum frames with curved edges back and front and the Galaxy Note.

The light is made of plastic back in aluminum frames, with a flat screen and curved back. They both feel basically about the same I. Don't buy into this nonsense. That glass is more premium when it is actually more fragile. This one has far more chances to survive a drop, so it's more durable anyway.

I always use the case mainly to protect the camera lenses at the bottom. You can find the headphone jack on both of them, which I still value, and I really appreciate the USB type-c charging port and the speakers next to the s-pen slot, which, in the case of the note 9 works together with the earpiece for stereo sound, it's not the case for the Northern Light, which is just a single firing speaker the position of the volume keys in the case of the Galaxy Note 9 here on the left. In the case of the note and light here on the right which I would have preferred on the left. The power button is on the right on both phones, software updates. Both phones are on the latest ecosystem and Samsung's update.

They are on Android 10, with Samsung's 1 UI 2.1, on top, which is excellent, especially for the Galaxy Note 9 in 2020 IP certification, the galaxy no 9 is ip68 water and dust resistant. The Galaxy Note in light is not officially water and dust resistant certified and, as I have said in previous videos. Apparently it can withhold some splashes of water without getting damaged, but once again I wouldn't risk it next unlocking methods the Galaxy Note 9 has few unlocking methods it has. The 2d face unlocks the iris scanner, which combined form the intelligent scanner. It has the pattern, the password the pink number and at the back, the capacity fingerprint reader in the case of the Galaxy Note and light it has the 2d face ID here in the hole punch.

It has the pattern, it has the pink number, the password plus the in displayed fingerprint reader next, the battery size in capacity the Galaxy Note 9 has a full thousand million battery capacity. He has wireless charging, and he also comes with 15 watts fast charging. The Galaxy Note and light has four thousand five hundred million battery capacity. It doesn't come with wireless charging, but it comes with 25 watts fast charging. Now, let's talk about internal memory and RAM.

In the case of the galaxy no night, it comes with two configurations: 128 gigabyte of internal memory, with 6 bite of RAM and 512 gigabytes of internal memory with 80 gigabytes of RAM. Now, in the case of the Galaxy Note and light, it comes with 128 gigabytes of internal memory and 6 or 8 gigabytes of RAM. They both come with micro SD card to expand internal memory to up to 1 terabyte, obviously, as part of the Galaxy Note series, they both come with a mighty s-pen. Both as parents have exactly the same features you can use both as remote control to take pictures and record videos. I won't talk now about all the features of the S Pen, not to make this video too long, but you can check out the video where I compare the Galaxy Note and light with the iPhone 11 in that video I mentioned five features, but there are more I just want to mention something.

I would like to complain about another rant, and it is related to the screen write feature of the s-pen back in the days when you activated a screen right like here on my Galaxy Tab s, 4 still on Android 9. You can use the whole screen to take notes or draw, as you can see, but now the screens, and you have less space to write or draw I, don't like that, especially on the phones and I hope. Some fixes days in the near future. Both forms come with Samsung pay, which is considered to be the best mobile payment right now. Both cases, you can activate it using the fingerprint reader in the case of the node 9 at the back here, with the note and light the in display fingerprint reader and also the pin.

Let's talk about the cameras. The Galaxy Note 9 has two camera lenses at the back, the main lens and a telephoto lens both has 12 megapixels and comes with optical image. Stabilization. You can recall videos in 1080p and 4k photos and videos are very good with lots of details and good dynamic range. The selfie camera has a megapixel and there is also a 2 megapixel dedicated iris scanner, lens Norfolk, a recording video only at 1440 resolution, 30 frames per second pictures and videos are also good, just suffering from a little of lack of dynamic range and skin.

Over smoothing, in the case of the Galaxy Note tonight, it comes with three camera lenses, the main the telephoto and the ultra-wide lens. All three have 12 megapixels, but only the main and the telephoto lenses come with optical image. Stabilization. You can recall videos at 1080p and 4k more info on the screen. Pictures and videos are great with plenty of details.

An excellent dynamic range here are some samples, but you can watch the video of the full camera comparison between both devices. The selfie camera has 32 megapixels. You can also recall videos at 1080p and 4k check out the camera comparison. Video one thing I would have liked to see you on the Galaxy Note in light is the photo editing capabilities you can find on the note 9. It is more limited on the note and light.

For instance, there is no advanced settings that would allow you to edit the pictures even more like adding extra sharpness, for example. Here, with this icon, we will see which is great in I use. Sometimes, however, there is something on the Galaxy Note and light you cannot do with a no.9, and it is the possibility of adding watermarks three pictures. Something I wouldn't use all the time, but it will be good to have another feature. I really love on the Galaxy Note 9 that Samsung has also sadly removed recently and that the Galaxy Note in light doesn't have.

Is the heart rate monitor to measure your blood pressure? I can tell you, it is very accurate. I have compared it to my GPS equipment twice, and it is good. Maybe one two points more or less difference. You can also measure your stress level. Using this sensor, processor and performance.

The Galaxy Note 9 is powered by the Enos 98 10 in some markets and the Snapdragon 85 in some others in terms of performance. It has been very good, no issues whatsoever either searching the web watching videos or gaming, no overheating either. The same goes to the Galaxy Note in light in the time of Herod I. Don't think you should have any concerns about the performance of either of these two phones. To conclude the video which one would you choose? Well, it all depends on what's more important for you, if you are into the glass, is more premium mentality, plus you care about things like wireless charging, efficient water and dust resistance, and you also preferred current screen at the front, also a clear and clean and interrupted screen with no notches or hole punches of any kind, plus the heart rate monitor than the note 9.

Now, if you care more about the camera quality, then the note 10 light for you. It is a slightly better, especially the selfie camera plus he has an extra camera lens at the back, which is ultra white also he has a flat screen if you are one of those who doesn't really like curved screens, thanks for watching this video I hope you enjoyed it, and we really appreciate if you subscribe to the channel and don't forget to hit the bell icon.
