Fitness Tech News ( Apple Watch Series 7, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, Fitbit Lux) | Fitness Tech Watch

What up everybody welcome back to fitness with frost today I have a new segment called fitness tech watch, so it is pun intended we're going over what's coming out with the new fitness wearables, what it's all about today, we're going to be going over the Fitbit lux, it's Fitbit's newest tracker, and it's come with the acquisition of google and Fitbit going from there. We're also going to be going over the Samsung Galaxy watch for what that's going to be all about what the rumors are, what the specs might be. I got the galaxy watch three, I'm actually relatively excited about that, and also what's happening with Google and Samsung as well and at the end of the video we're also going to be going over. The Apple Watch Series, seven, what all the rumors on that, what the release date's going to be and all that, but let's go ahead and get right into it. So first thing first, is the Fitbit lux. This band is catered more towards the female demographic, as it is a little flashier, but it does have a sweet AMOLED display as the cheaper fit bits.

Typically, don't it does have a nice glossy finish as well, and it's going to be coming in at about 150 bucks. I have mine coming in at the end of this month, so make sure you are subscribed to make sure you're not going to miss out on that review. It's going to be very similar to bands I've previously done on this channel like the amaze fit band 5 and the Xiaomi b band 6. , even though it will have a smaller screen than both of those it's going to come with everything that makes Fitbit so special. It's only going to have about a 0.7 inch display, but again it will be AMOLED where the band, 6 will have about a 1.5 inch display, but I'm also interested to see how the touchscreen controls will work as well. The lux casing is made from stainless steel, so this will be a little more attractive and more fashionable for those who are looking for that and if you're looking to get really fancy there is a gold bracelet as well for 199 dollars.

I'm not going to be doing that on this channel. This band is going to be very similar to the Fitbit sense, and not only that it's going to have your skin temperature heart rate, variability, HPV and spo2 sensor, so it should have pretty much all the sensors. You need and also has its heart rate, monitor its accelerometer and all that, and always Fitbit is top of line with your fitness trackers. It's also going to have five atmospheres of water resistance, but also make sure you are subscribed. So when I do finish that review you'll be able to check it and see if it's something that you're going to be looking for, but talking about that Fitbit has been acquired by google and Google has also partnered with Samsung, with its new Samsung Galaxy watch, 4 to make a new operating system together with ti zen and google kind of being together, which I think is great mostly because the ti zen OS on the Samsung doesn't really play well with other fitness metrics.

So it's hard to actually share your fitness metrics with somebody else who might be on Google fit and might be on apple as well. So what it's looking like is Samsung's new watch is going to be able to run all of google where's apps as well, which is awesome. It's going to be able to use everything that google has been working towards for years and years, even though the Google Wear OS really hasn't worked that well, it really hasn't gained much traction, as ti zen has done pretty well with Samsung and of course the Apple OS on their Apple Watch has been doing very well too, and then there's also the thing that google also owns Fitbit. So we are kind of looking out on that to see what that's going to mean for Fitbit uh, we're not really sure. If that's going to change their OS, their OS always seem to work fairly well, but if they integrate it all together, I can only see positive things, but if you were looking to buy a Google OS smartwatch, I probably hold out until all the information is out on this acquisition.

Now, talking about that, the Samsung Galaxy watch, four, it is going to be running that new OS so make sure you are checking in on that, and it's looking like it has a lot of different leaks available as well having a lot of the colors the s21 came out with, but not only that it's looking like it might get other things like blood, glucose tracking, which is great for diabetics out there. It is a relatively niche thing, but it's something that somebody might be looking out for and also might get better battery life. That's something that these Samsung watches always really lacked in is battery life. So hopefully that's going to help out as well, and it's also looking like the William hour battery on the watch is going to expand, as well, of course, might even be able to make it through two three days instead of the only one. If you keep that always on display on, they do typically come out with two different models: a 41 millimeter and a 45 millimeter or probably be the same thing around this time and looking far as the release date is concerned.

Right now, we're looking at either July or august for that release. Date join with, like the Galaxy Z fold three and the galaxy flip three as well. Last, but certainly not least, we're going to be talking about the Apple Watch Series seven. So this is the watch that is looking to have a lot of different rumors around it like a whole entire redesign, and with that redesign it is looking to have a bigger screen and a bunch of different colors that are going to be built in a lot of colors, like we saw on the iPhone 12 and all those different colors with a little slimmer, design like we saw on the iPad Pro and a little more sleek, but overall in general, it's going to be fairly similar as far as the functionality of it all talking about that, there's other things like health tracking things, like habits and other things that could offer blood glucose monitoring as well. That's going to be great for those of you who are suffering from diabetes, but again we're not exactly sure how accurate that's all going to be if it's going to be able to.

Actually, you know, replace your actual blood glucose monitoring, but it might be something to help you build from there. A lot like they did with the EKG and also with that fall detection. It is a little niche stuff, but it's just building the extra features. On top of the watch. There's also rumors about that.

It's going to improve swim tracking, I mean it does have pretty good swim tracking involved. But I heard it's going to get even more advanced, I'm not exactly sure what that's going to mean. Maybe it will be able to detect what stroke you're doing, or it might even be able to get farther deeper, underneath water, maybe not only that but able to survive better temperatures back and forth, but that's all really up to speculation might not even come out, but definitely stay tuned. For that. So Apple has made a new watch each and every year since 2015 and this year doesn't look to be any different if you're looking for a release date, it's probably around mid-September this year that we're going to get some sort of more news and, if not farther towards the end of September, for a definitive answer on that.
