Pixel 4 vs OnePlus 7 Pro camera comparison

Hey, what's going on guys, I'm, the Griffith Android and today, I am back with another smartphone camera comparison using the 1 plus 7 Pro, which is recording right now and comparing that with the all new pixel. For now, as I do in all of these videos. Everything that you see here is going to be recorded with these two devices so make sure you keep an eye on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen to see which device is being used to record the video that you're. Seeing so with that, let's jump into the camera specification to see how these two devices actually compare. We're going to start things off with the pixel 4 and a square camera module which looks like it has three sensors on it, but really only two. You have a 12 megapixel main sensor and then a 16 megapixel sensor, that's paired with a 2 X optical zoom lens.

Both of these can record 4k video at 30 frames per second, and there is optical image, stabilization on both sensors as well, and then for the front-facing camera you're. Looking at an 8 megapixel sensor that can record video at 1080p. At 30 frames per second, when it comes to the 1 plus 7 Pro, you actually do get 3 camera sensors on the back of this phone, the main one being a 48 megapixel sensor from Sony, and then an 8 megapixel sensor paired with a 3x optical zoom and then finally, a 16 megapixel sensor with an ultra wide-angle lens. Unfortunately, only the first two sensors can be used to record video and that can be captured at 4k 60 frames per second, and those temperatures also have optical image. Stabilization.

Then, when flipping things over to the front of the phone, you won't see the camera until you hit the button, and it pops out from the top of the phone. This is a 12 megapixel sensor that can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second. Now that we've got the specifications for these two smartphone cameras, all squared away, let's jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparisons to see how they actually perform in the real world. Let's take a look: nobody there for trick-or-treating, no one's home, I, guess we'll now home. You got all your candy and here's a look at some side-by-side video from the front facing camera.

Both of these places. We've got the ocean in the background here and beautiful beach. We're in San Diego. Just give you an idea of what the front-facing cameras can do. They can both do a perfect video with electronic image stabilization, while I'm walking here it's not the most steady thing that you'll be able to find since there's no optical image stabilization there, but it's definitely a lot better sent than some devices that we've seen, and we are back on the beach to give you guys a look at what the video quality is from these two devices at night in low-light situations, as you can see, the video quality or the brightness of the pixel four is much higher than that of the one plus seven Pro, which isn't surprising since one plus.

What really doesn't do that well for its brightness in low-light situations that we've seen in other comparisons. As far as the audio quality goes, there is a small breeze, so you should be picking up on that a little, but the noise cancellation on both of these devices should do a pretty good job and that's gonna. Do it for this camera comparison between the 1 +, 7 Pro and the pixel for when it comes to overall image, quality I would say the pixel walks away with the win this time around, with better white balance, contrast and sharpness in all the images, especially for the selfie camera, but the 1 + 7 Pro does have the advantage with that ultra-wide angle lens, giving it a little more versatility, and honestly I really wish Google would have included that on the pixel device. When it comes to video capture, the 1 + 7 Pro does do really well in regular situations, but once the Sun Goes Down or if you're recording at night inside the 1 + 7 Pro, just can't keep up with a pixel 4, since that device pulls in a lot more light. Allowing you to actually see the videos that you're recording.

Let me know what you think of the results in the comments below and which advice you would rather have for taking pictures and videos on a regular basis. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you enjoyed this video, give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to the Android channel. We have more camera comparisons and smartphone reviews coming up in the next couple of weeks. Thank you guys.

So much for watching I will catch you in the next one.
