First look: Samsung Galaxy Note20 series | The Straits Times

Samsung will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy note, 20 and note 20 ultra on August 21st, which means it's a perfect time to take a first look at the phones. At first glance, the note 20 and note 20 ultra look pretty similar compared to its predecessor, the note 10. There are some design changes with the s pen, which is now located at the bottom left of the phones. Another change is the position of the volume, control and power buttons which were on the left of the note.10 have now moved to the right side. For the note 20 series, the biggest difference between the two models is in their displays. The note 20 ultras 6.9 inch display is curved towards its sides, while the note 20s 6.7 inch display is flat with no side curvatures. The note 20 ultras display has a high resolution of 3088 by 1440 pixels compared to the note 20s 2400 by 1080 pixels.

Both models offer pro video mode with fast zoom speed and 8k. Video recording, there's even a function to control audio recording direction, front back or omnidirectional. Now both models feature the enhanced s-pen stylus. That has a 40 latency improvement over the old model. One of the new features is the auto straighten function which straightens your slanted text with just a tap of a button.

Lastly, Samsung notes now comes in a new, intuitive folder management system that makes everything easier to find no more browsing through the entire library. Just to find what you want.
