Essential Phone VS HTC U11 Front Camera Comparison | UPDATE IN DESCRIPTION By J. Williams

Okay, so I got the footage on the computer and this is the essential phone. So when I recorded this video, you know through the video you're going to hear me, make some statements, but after I got the video on the computer, I had a realization, so I'll. These cameras look completely different, so once you get it on the computer, an actual, perfect screen, you can really see which one looks better, and I won't give you a spoiler, but you can guess which one I think is better based on this intro here. Will yes I'm, looking in two different directions, because I have the essential phone over here on this side and I have the u11 on this side. Now it's no secret that I've been using this camera that you 11 for a very long time to do my videos for vlogs, and you can already see the difference in quality. With these two cameras, the essential phone tends to have a deeper saturation. It's not that it's making me look more realistic. It's actually making the scene look a little darker from what I could see in the viewfinder and then on the 11.

Furthermore, it sharpens everything up. Furthermore, it brightens it up. So this video from the essential phone is actually recording in 4k and this phone over here on the U 11 and only record in 1080p at the highest point on the front. So the decision has come down to one thing which one of these phones should I use going forward for my video vlogs and a lot of people have asked me about this, like you know which one are you going to use, which one is gonna, be the better one for your vlogs, so I decided to go ahead and just put them both at the same time right here, so you can kind of see for yourself. This is what it's gonna look like if I use the essential phone for vlogs, and this is what it's gonna look like if I use the U 11 for of loss continuously, I've used Au 11 for vlogs, and I've always used an external mic, and I would probably do the same with if I were to switch to the essential phone.

I just want consistency for the vlogs and I haven't to be honest. I haven't used an u11 for a front-facing vlog in at least two weeks. That's been either the essential phone or the Galaxy Note 8, so I've been switching it up. You know so. People have asked, and I just wanted to demo both cameras right now for you side by side, so you can kind of get some idea of what the scene is.

Gonna look like now there is these. These phones are sitting right next to each other, and I'm, not making any adjustments to anything. The lighting the setting is obviously the same for them. Now. The microphone I will say on the essential phone is a lot better when doing face.

Front-Facing video because I'm not using an external mic, and I'm, probably going to go ahead and use the audio from the essential phone because the Elevens audio when doing a front-facing video, while it is good I, don't think it's as good as the essential phone. So I'll make my decision right now. I say that if I'm going to do front-facing, vlogs, and I'm going to use a phone, it's probably going to be the U 11 now, even though the essential phone, even though it records at 4k on the front, the u 11 is just seems like it's a little more realistic, I, don't know like my cert one of my surgery scars on my neck. Can you see it on both videos? I have metal, have metal, metal band and screws in place going down the front of my neck, and this is where they went in it and just take a look real quick. So you can see the scar a heck of a lot better to me on the? U 11, you guys see.

That's just some detail done to point out, but I don't know. Recording in 4k is absolutely stunning, but recording in 1080p is its good too, depending on which camera it is and again this is just a quick video test for front-facing vlogs, which camera should I use. You just you guys, decided to comment now. Whatever you run with, you know, I picked the u11 after having I've never put these side-by-side. You would think that I would have right, but I haven't so because I've tried to be as realistic.
