POCO X3 Pro ULTIMATE Gaming Test: GENSHIN IMPACT, FORTNITE, PUBG! A+++

Hey everybody welcome back to tech odyssey, so I'm back with another video on the Poco x3 pro, and this is another gaming review. I already made one video and I took a look at some really popular AAA titles. We looked at pub g, we looked at Fortnite. We looked at Call of Duty mobile. Well, a lot of people really responded in the feedback. There were a lot of questions and things that people wanted to see, for instance, the first one.

We took a look at Call of Duty mobile, but we didn't look at the battle royale or some people wanted to see the smooth graphics setting with like the highest fps when it comes to pub g and a couple of other things and even some Genshin Impact, which I threw on here as well. So we're going to dive in we'll call this the ultimate game review, because this one dives in and this one is also in 60 frames per second instead of 30 frames per second, so you'll get to see everything in all of its smooth, beautiful glory, but before we get into all this, I do want to say if this is your first time stopping by the channel. I appreciate you being here if you enjoyed the video, please hit the like and the subscribe button and the little notification bell if you want updates when new videos come out now, let's take a look at the games. First things. First, we're going to take a look at Fortnite again.

This is a big ticket item that people want to know about. I've changed the preset down to low. Now it automatically sets it to epic, which is fine. It will run on that, and then you can see you can change between 20 and 30 fps. It maxes out at 30.

, there's no 60. , so some people had asked about that. The low quality preset will give you the best gameplay experience on here. I know some people are in favor of higher frame rates or a smoother experience, as opposed to better looking graphics. So we're going to take a look at it.

You can see there a little of stutter when you jump out of the battle bus and that's something that I've encountered on all the different texture levels on this as far as the graphics settings. So as you get going, though, you start falling down you get into the game, it really does clean things up. It speeds up a lot faster. You will notice whenever you get into buildings or some things as soon as you land, it might still have a little of chop in there, and that is concerning, especially if you want to play this on a competitive basis, but the gameplay as once you get going once everything spins up. It doesn't really seem to be problematic and as far as heat goes, it didn't really feel like it overheated during the gameplay here.

So, as you do play some more intensive games, though, if you play for a long time, the phone can get a little warm, but it's not like super blazing hot or anything unless you're playing ginger impact, and we'll talk about that later. But, as you can see here out running around in the real world of the game, and you're doing your normal thing, there's not too much of a problem. Maybe if you got into some sort of build battle inside a city with a bunch of other players going on that might cause you some issues, but I'm not that good at building. So I can't duplicate that experience or replicate that for you to see, but you can see here normal combat, just fine, no real issues and yeah. Overall, I think the gameplay on here is fine.

You do have to remember, though this is the snapdragon 860, which is basically a rebranded 855. It doesn't have 5g it's just a regular 4g LTE at its heart. This is the exact same processor as the 855. The only thing that's changed is the main core. The single performance core has been upgraded by 120 megahertz, which is what gives you the extra performance.

So basically, they took the 855, which was the flagship processor two years ago, and they cranked it up a little and overclocked it by 120 megahertz. That's it, so you're still not going to get as good of performance as you do, with an 865 or with an 888, but the 860 is very formidable, especially for the price point, and you can see here like I said, the game runs perfectly fine when you, whenever you get into it, there are no real issues here. So if you have concerns about it, they know, you can go ahead and be concerned. I guess, but this right here, I think, is a solid demonstration for what the phone is capable of and like I mentioned yes there, there are some stutter moments once you jump out of the bus and whenever you first land, but otherwise it seems to clean up pretty good as you're running along and playing the game. So this pretty much wraps it up for the fortnight again, this is on the lowest settings and also remember that I'm using the screen recorder.

While I do this, which will sap some resources as well. So if you're not running the screen recorder, it should run a little better. So that's also a nice thing now I wanted to show off war robots. I did this for the last gameplay review, but I didn't have the screen recorder set to 60 frames per second. So, even though the gameplay I was seeing was 60 frames per second, it may not have translated over to you guys as well, so this is 60 frames per second recorded, while I'm playing 60 frames per second- and you can see it looks perfect.

It's super smooth, very, very uh, very good gameplay. I really enjoy playing this game. It's a lot of fun. I completely destroy these guys, so you can sit here and see uh with my much as I totally destroyed them, but yes, 60 frames per second totally possible on here. Make sure you go into the settings to turn that on because it will default to 30, but, as you can see here, it doesn't even skip a beat.

There's no hiccuping, no stuttering. It is a very smooth experience. So if you like to play war robots- and you don't want to spend a ton of money, this is a really, really good option for you, and I think that this one handles it really well and back in the day, I went through a lot of phones to try and get a game play. Experience like this, and this was way before the 8 55. This was like back in the snapdragon 821 days when I had my motor z, so I went through a lot of phones to be able to play this game as well.

You know, as I can today, so the fact that you can play this game maxed out 60 frames per second on uh, like 250 dollar phone, is just bananas to me, so this pretty much wraps up for war robots, but I really wanted to show this off again, so you could get the full experience with 60 frames per second and see what it looks like, and here we have Genshin Impact. So a lot of people really wanted to see what this runs like. They said that it's basically like the crisis for uh phone gameplay is because of how intensive it is, and I will tell you this game does make the phone warm like. If you play pub g Call of Duty, some of those yeah, it does kind of make the phone a little warm as you play for a while. You play games and impact, and within like a few minutes, your phone will warm up, and I think that the game is okay.

I did play as I was getting the game set up because I'd never played this before, and it did freeze on me once or twice as I was changing one of the chapters. I think it might have been a bug, so I don't know I didn't have any other issues when I came back- and I was trying it today but as you can see, here works perfectly fine, and this game actually reminds me a lot of breath of the wild, the Legend of Zelda on the switch, the graphics and the gameplay feel kind of similar, and I think that this is actually a pretty fun game. So if this is something you're interested in, you can see here that it is able to play it. But, yes, you will definitely notice, even with the case on the phone, that this phone does get very warm when you're playing this. So whoever mentioned in the comments to test this game out and told me that it was a very, very intensive game, you were spot on.

This game definitely takes up plenty of resources, and it requires a lot of power, but the phone does seem like it handles it all right. So I wanted to go ahead and show off the genii impact, because people really were asking about this one and wanted to see it. So here you go you're able to see it. Another thing I wanted to show off is the battle royale version of Call of Duty mobile, a lot of people are like look put it on the smooth gameplay settings max it out. Let me see what it looks like, so I did that, and now we're here in the battle royale.

So that way you could get a good feel for this and see what it looks like. So this one is on the low graphics quality setting with the max frame rate, which is 60 frames per second. This one does not have 90 frames per second, it goes to the max setting which is 60. So I had a lot of questions about that, but you can see here running the game at 60. Frames per second is very, very smooth, and it's amazing to me: how Call of Duty can look so good and run so well, but then you look at a game like Fortnite, and you know it's not nearly as nice, so I mean I don't know, what's going on behind the scenes, but the game engine that they use for the call of duty, mobile game, I think, is spot on it works really well, and you don't have to have a superpower phone to be able to run it, but having the snapdragon 860 in here, as you can see landing here in the battle royale, it works perfectly fine, I'm playing in the quads game.

So yeah there are some running around there's other people going it's a hundred-person game as far as the match, and then you've also got this big map. So I think that this handles it really well, and I wasn't too worried about it. Whenever people were asking, I was like look I'll, go ahead, and I'll put this together, so you can get a feel for it and see what it looks like. But a lot of people really were asking about the low quality graphics. It only allows a maximum frame rate of max.

It doesn't go to the 90 fps, so hopefully that may be something that gets unlocked later in the future. There are very few phones right now that actually support 90 frames per second, but this one I think one of the issues is because it's so new. Yes, it's the same as the 855 effectively, but it's still a different processor, so with the 860 it may just need to uh. I don't know, I don't know what they need to do. Hopefully it will get 90 frames per second one day, but as of right now, you're limited to 60, but hey 60 frames per second on some handheld gaming playing some Call of Duty mobile is not a bad world to live in.

So you can see here riding around the vehicle running around in the buildings. I'm going to jump off and go get this guy just so we can get some action in this video but yeah. I think that uh, if this is something that you want to play, if you're a fan of the battle royale, if you're a fan of the regular multiplayer, it works perfectly good, and you can run it on very high settings with the max fps2. So here we have it for Call of Duty, mobile and last but not least, I want to show off PUBG. So a lot of people really wanted to see what this looked like on, smooth with extreme graphics.

This is the highest setting. You can get the extreme frame rate, and then we put it on smooth graphics. So some people were like look. I really want to see what it looks like with the bare-bones graphics, so I can really play at the highest possible. You know performance level whenever it comes to this game, so I went ahead, and I did this turned it down, so you can see it this way, and it runs great.

There are no problems here as far as running the game. As far as driving around as far as engaging people- and we looked at this in the last video- and I have much more extensive footage there, but really I just wanted to show off some peak gameplay here, especially with the driving the vehicle around doing everything. And, of course, if it could work on the higher settings, it can work on the lower settings as well. So this right here gives you a glimpse at what you get with PUBG and what you get on the smooth gameplay settings, which a lot of people ask for, and no there's no 90 frames per second supported on here either. So maybe that's something that will be unlocked later on.

Hopefully, so I know some of you guys are really interested in that and are also really interested in this phone. But as of right now, it's just not an option, even though some other phones do support it. So hopefully we'll get that one day, but this is pretty much it for pub g, and we've taken a look at so many other games as well. So I really hope that this helped you out a lot with showing some of the gameplay footage that you really, really wanted to see for this phone all right. What do you think did I answer all your questions and unlock the mysteries of the gaming universe for you on the Poco x3 pro? Hopefully this has been helpful and this time I really tried to respond to a lot of the feedback that I got.

You guys really showed up in a big way. Tons of people came and watched the original video, and I wanted to make sure that I covered this because hey if you're looking to get the information that you want to decide if you want to buy this phone if you're into gaming, if you want to find out about these AAA title games and how the phone handles them, I wanted to make sure you got that information. So we took a look at pub g. We looked at Call of Duty, mobile ginger impact, so many more on different settings so that you could get a perfect overall look at what the phone can do, and I think it handled it pretty well, so that's all I've got on my ultimate gaming review for the Poco x3 pro. Hopefully you enjoyed it.
