All right into the video So Huawei, who is China's number one phone manufacturer could be partnering up with Apple to produce their 5g networking chips Now this past year Lal way hasn't veiled some insanely good phone really good phones the huawei mate X on top of that the p30 and p30 Pro which are kind of insane for photography There's four cameras on the back all these devices that Huawei announced use their in-house Huawei Kirin 980 processor Which is a pretty good processor But it doesn't really compare against Qualcomm Snapdragon a 55 or Apple's a12 Bionic chip No, but it's still a pretty good chip.

The phones are still amazing There's been basically two buzz words this year in the tech community There's been foldable phones like Samsung and Huawei have unveiled and then 5g Yes Both Samsung and Huawei have unveiled that their phones will or some of their phones will be 5g compatible this year this year Some believe that Apple is struggling to implement this technology But others report that is not actually Apple but its partnership with Intel where the struggle is actually happening now This is according to an anonymous source that told Fast Company that Apple has lost its confidence in Intel so Intel is supposed to be providing this 5g chip to animal but Intel keeps on missing deadlines, so if not Intel maybe Qualcomm they're famous for their chips No, because Qualcomm and Apple are actually dealing with a lawsuit right now. They are so if they are On one side of their company. Why would they want to work together on the other side? I don't think that would that's not possible. No, if not Intel if not Qualcomm then who else? Routers reported that Apple could be working with Samsung. This is according to Tony Blevins who is an Apple executive in supply chains There's two issues with this.

Yeah one Samsung is Apple's pretty much number one competitor. So why would they want to supply that component and to Samsung already supplies tons of components to Apple for their products so noticeably the display Yeah, so it's kind of like if they keep on getting more components It'd be like having a Samsung phone which is the Apple logo stamp on it Yeah, I don't think Apple and Samsung will continue to work together It's rumored that Apple is also gonna be switching their display manufacturers to LG potentially coming year If not, those three companies then who else Nathan pause? I want bigger The second one is wall way is currently having a couple of legal battles against the US government for one You can't actually buy a wall way phone in America. You can't secondly the American government is accusing wall way of sort of Stealing trade secrets from American come from allegedly the US government alleges that Huawei is is using dubious tactics to steal US trade secrets from US companies like Apple so you have a wall a Chipset in an apple phone a physical chance at potential for wall way to steal this to steal apples information now Obviously, this is just allegations. Nothing has been confirmed But there is still tensions. So this partnership is very unlikely. I don't think it'll happen But this 5g technology is pretty innovative in 20 It is speaking of innovation Samsung just released a new mid-range a series phones that look pretty insane So to start things off there's four of them the biggest one and most impressive one that we thought was the AAT It includes a six point seven inch Super AMOLED display. Yes, that's impressive seven. It has a triple lens Yes, one of the lenses is a 48 megapixel telephoto lens and the next one is an eight. Megapixel ultra wide lens which gives you a hundred and twenty three degrees of View you okay? And then the third one is a time-of-flight sensor, right? That one is probably used for depth sensing as well as low-light performance for a mid-range device These specs are very impressive very impressive Now the six point seven inch display has no knotch and no infinity. Oh in it So what am I gonna do Nathan where r is myself the camera? You know, it is really cool what they did So they have a sliding mechanism kind of like what we saw on the vivo NEX or the Oppo phone, okay However, there isn't actually a selfie camera What what this phone does is when you slide it up the rear camera automatically flips So the rear camera actually becomes the selfie camera really? Yeah, so that 48 megapixel camera is now my selfie camera Not only the 48 megapixel, but you also have that 8 megapixel one as well but really That's weird.

And this is their mid-range device as a mid-range device. So there was a meme going around a while back That was like comparing apples. Snapchat versus Android snapchat Yep, and it was like apples had like an incredible shot, but then Android it was like some ugly pixelated view So with this you never have to worry about that because you have a 48 megapixel self camera. That's insane Wow I don't know. I mean this seems pretty impressive.

It seems a bit more impressive than the S lineup if you ask me Well This is a mid-range device. There are gonna be some limitations Yes Probably with the material it's made so this this automatic flipping between the rear and selfie camera Isn't the first time we've seen this on a phone. Ok, the Oppo and 3 actually did this However, this is the first time that Samsung has actually done. There is this mechanical where you do it yourself, though? So once you I guess activate the selfie camera, it will slide up and automatically put her interesting on top of that this will feature a 3700 milliamp hour battery along with the 25 watt power brick and it also features Samsung's intelligent battery consumption technology, what does that so basically Samsung states that it will monitor your usage and your routine to better your power performance Okay, it's like Big Brother. It's always watch it.

Sounds kind of like, I mean, I think that's pretty cool And if it works, it sounds cool. But to me, it sounds sort to us. It sounds more of like a marketing gimmick. Yeah Yeah, on top of that it'll feature like we said before the six point seven inch AMOLED display edge to edge no notch No, nothing like that a gigabytes of RAM 128 gigabytes of storage and it features an octa-core chip But they didn't say who or what manufactures it. So that's still known.

It could be Samsung's in-house processes or or maybe snapdragons 8:55 Possibly another unknown is the price. We're not sure how much is going to cost but since it's a mid-range device It will likely be all lot less than Samsung's Galaxy lineup thousand bucks This phone is set to be available on may 29th and comes in three colors Phantom black ghost white and angel gold Oh Nathan, what color would you get? Probably the middle one the ghost white. I think that looks pretty cool But at the same time I rock a case, so it doesn't really matter. How about yourself phantom black?
