Coolpad Note 8 unboxing and quick review

But some guys you're watching in here today take em all city and this video I'm going to unbox the cool pad note.8 phones comes at 9 tripping line to the price, as you will see at the back of the box, is 13 triple nine cool pads says the best thing about the phone is its five point: nine inch display which has thin bezels. It doesn't come with a notch. It has 10 bezels and 18 is 2 9 aspect ratios and a full HD resolution at the back. You'll see other specs I'll also mention phone has 4gb 64, GB, RAM and storage has dual cameras at the back, though the secondary sensor is only VGA. Has a 4000 mAh battery comes with a fingerprint scanner and the device we have with us is black. So let's quickly unbox and take a look at the design of the smartphone.

The note 8 is the successor to the cool pad note 6 that was launched at a trip online, so that regards the price, has certainly increased, but let's see what all is available with the device. So this is the note: 8 doesn't come with a glass back, of course, like some phones do like Nokia, 5.1 plus, but this one comes with a plastic, build total plastic build and I see out of the box. The display has some dotted smudges on it. Let's turn on the device and take a look at the box contents. So you also get a case.

It's a clear case bendable and not a hard one, and this is Quick Start Guide. Then there is a warranty card and cool pad, also bundles a screen protector. Next in the box, is a charger quite a small one and has a 5 volt 2 amperes of output rating, which means it's a 10 watt adapter. Then there is a sim ejector tool and a micro USB cable, which is fairly long and off fairly good quality. You do not get any air phones inside the box.

So, while aside of the smartphone, you take a look at the full specs of the cool pad note in all right, I've set up the smartphone and the cool pad note.8 is a fairly big phone you'll see. The form factor is not wide when it's a tall one, so it doesn't really feel a big phone, but it's a tall one, so you'll see the ergonomics of the phone are not very good. Using it with one hand, won't be really easy. On the other hand, there are phones like Nokia 5.1, plus that give you about the similar display size, but you know very small form-factor again, thanks to the notch goodbye note, it is still made on the older lines of having a thin bezel design anyways. If you take a look at the phone at the top bezel, you get approximately light sensor and ambient light sensor, notification, LED, front camera and your piece at the bottom.

You get three on-screen keys on the right. You get the volume rocker and the lock button, and they are not really very tactile. At the back. You get a fingerprint scanner, a dual camera setup, accompanied by an LED flash at the top. You get a 3.5 mm, audio jack and at the bottom you get a micro USB port with a single speakers will, and if you take a look at the slots, you get a hybrid one. So you are either able to add two SIM cards or add one SIM card or a micros to expand the storage so setup.

The cool part, note 8 and if you'll see the interface, it's very close to the stock one, but there are some additions and changes according to the cool pad UI, it runs the Android 8.0 Oreo and the last security patch you will see is of July 5, which is not recent at all. Also, most companies are selling the latest generation, MediaTek chipset and the cool pad note 8, once the MediaTek mt6752 ROTC, which is an older generation processor, so we'll need to test it and find out if it heats up or the phone has any lags or freezes because of that anyways. If you see a drop-down menu, the app drawer and the settings menu, you will see it gives you a very stock like feel, but there are third-party apps like some browsers and Amazon apps. The phone supports both face and lock, and fingerprint scanning so set up both of them and let's see how fast it is. So if you see the fingerprint scanner, it's not as fast as what you get on red-meat smartphones, but it's pretty quick.

The face unlock, as you will see, is also not very fast, but it's faster than the fingerprint scanner, and you may use it to unlock your smartphone, although it may not be as secure as what you see with IR sensors, and also it may not work in every lighting condition, for example, in very dark situations. It may not work. Let's take a look at the display quality on the phone and when then jump onto the cameras, so the display on the cool pan noted is pretty nice. You can expand the display to fill the screen like other 18, soon, high aspect, ratio, smartphones and the brightness levels are also pretty nice. The blacks are quality and the colors come out to be really accurate.

They are not over processed and look pretty nice cool pad says. The note 8 is all about the display, and it doesn't really let it down. Now, if I take a look at the cameras, you'll see the autofocus is slow, but it's quite accurate, and it tries to get focus every time. Also, the shutter is very fast. It clicks the photo in blink of an eye which is quite a nice thing.

Also, let's take a look at the front camera and the front camera also is detecting my face. So it looks pretty nice and if we take a look at the color reproduction, the colors captured are accurate. The red details are not very good, I would say they are decent, but the overall photo as you'll see, is very usable, not over processed and a nice one. We took some photos in other lighting situations as well, and it's a pretty nice camera, although in the body mode we did find it to be pretty slow. It takes about 10 to 15 seconds to process a photo, which is a very long time, and the results are also not very impressive.

As you will see, the background blur is not even but then again at this price point: it's not fair to judge a dual camera setup with a lot of. Although the details on the camera are pretty nice and if you zoom in good light situations, you'll see, the color at reproduction is also pretty accurate. So, overall the cool pad note eight comes out to be quite a surprising smartphone, like most cool pad smartphones, I mean at first. It doesn't really look like a very nice device. You'll see the icon pack is slightly old, so it doesn't really give a very good feel of the interface as well, though it's mostly stock and the speed is also quite nice and apps open very fast.

The build quality of the phone doesn't seem to be very impressive, and the design is slightly outdated. I would say it's not the latest one, and it also doesn't come with a notch design. But then again the cameras I've found are pretty nice and the display, especially the color reproduction and the brightness levels, are pretty accurate and good. So this is our first impressions of the cool pad note it. Let us know what you think in the comment section below, and you've liked this video a thumbs up and shared with your friends.
