Coolpad Cool Changer 1C Review: Rough Performer [4K]

This video is brought to you by scoping comm get yours now, hi guys welcome back. This is Phil from calm, and this is cool. Pat cool changer, one see the hallways done by cool pad and the software is done by look Oh, although they are one of the major shareholders, so cool pad. So I don't know it's one of their phones now. But, aside from all that, the reason why I chose this as my review today is because of these specs. It's running snack time 652 off the core processor 3 gigs of ram 32 gigs of storage, 5.5 inch of a full HD display if you type C, 4060 million battery. That seems quite standard of a Chinese phone these days.

But one impressive thing here is a cost where it's less than 200 bucks, and its home turf is retailing at around 130 bucks and even after you include all the shipping fees taxes, it still is cheaper than 200 bucks, we're going to get a strap from 652 with that kind of price. So, let's dive right in with that specs at that price, you can have everything perfect and that comes in the material finishes of the phone. This is mat all these are plastic and there is no code applied on top of it. That means that you will have the raw materials, and that is not exactly the best for your actual feelings when you're having it on the phone or protection of the materials against the scratches. In short, it could have been better, but let's move on to the internals of the phone, unlocking the phone.

If you have a pinko setup, it's going to recognize the direction that you're holding your phone is going to push the number pad to the side where a 10 year for you to input with one hand and as a modern, smartphone. Of course, it does have the fingerprint reader, where it's quite reflective and accurate and fast in the same time, moving on to that 5.5 inches of this blood panel, it's not exactly the best one, it's not as bright as some other panels. It's got a yellowish tint, a bit more so than the other phones, and while it does have the color mode that you can switch from luck vivid, natural and soft, they don't do the best job, and it does not have the white ballast switcher answer look closely enough. There are three capacitive touch: keys, multitasking, home and the back key. They do light up, although they do it very, very weakly and the press and hold access can be customized.

You can make it to turn off the screen, make a capture or make it work as a retro Menu key and to make things better. You can even swap between the back and the multitasking key. One thing that I wish was: there is the ability to change the LED time out here. Moving on to the actual performance of the phone, it's got a second assistant to chew again with three gigs of RAM, and they are pretty good. It's a pretty powerful processor works is closer to that of the chapter on 801 and the GPU is that of snappy on 805.

There are a few generations behind, but this still is powerful enough to run some major 3d games and graphics intensive tasks. Overall, software optimization is pretty good too, and this is one of the best GPUs or the CPUs that you can get at this price point getting back some software. One of the things that I really don't like is how they hide all the notification icons over there. As you can see, there is not one but two running apps over there that display the icon, but they're hidden with the three little dots here. Some popular apps like Instagram and Facebook, do show icons there, but most of the time most of the icons will be hidden in that format.

And if you have tried numbers of Android phones, they usually have the toggle icons in the notification bar. They usually have it on top there or on the right side of the page or for some Chinese phones. You can pull it up from bottom, like an iOS, but it has a search bar there and the toggle keys or surprisingly enough at the multitasking page. So there you can quickly launch the apps, or you can quickly toggle your settings there. It's not a major drawback you'll get used to it in no time, but it still is a very interesting position.

Indeed, the system is also loaded with numbers of low echo, apps little sports Lewis store and little mall, and they cannot be disabled along with a little live at there, but as a multimedia centric device, it does have the art blaster. On top that you can use as a remote controller and the speaker is pretty decent for its price. What is not decent is the speaker. On top the call quality isn't exactly the best. The in call volume is a bit low and the other party could not hear me the clearest through the microphone there.

I don't like a lot of phones. The dual SIM card slot does not support the fortune 3G. So if you're living in some areas with the 2g services discontinued, like the Singapore Australia, then you'll have a problem using the dual SIM and also the SIM card slot does not have the micros expansion. So if you're, in short of that 32 use of storage, then you're out of luck moving on to the camera, it's a very interesting one, 13 megapixels, with 4k recording capability. The results are not that impressive, with the brighter lighting conditions.

They're, okay, they're pretty good, but as you get into the lower lighting condition, there are noticeably more noise and grains and I wish there was, and the selfie cam isn't exactly the best. It tries to take the photos to bright that it slows down the shutter speed that it gets shaky. So unless you got a really steady pair of arms, you will most likely end up having shaky selfie photo. But there is one part that pays off: that is the 46 Williams of built-in battery. It lasts up to six hours to six and a half hours of screen on time, and that is pretty impressive.

With a powerful processor like a snapping, 652 built-in and considering that the 652 isn't exactly the most energy efficient officer. This is definitely an impressive performance. The one minor but very important caveat here is the lack of fast charging. It does have the USB type-c port, but it does not support the quick charge, 3.0 2.0 or even its proprietary, quick charging technology, so you will have to have three hours to fully charge up the battery I found it really annoying and in 2017 that feels like forever. So that is a cool changer, 1c I think we can render a pretty simple conclusion over here.

It's a great bang for the buck for your specs, but if you're looking for more of an aesthetic perfection, this might not be for you. However, if you want the best gaming performance on the $200, which it sounds impossible here is a great answer and as a bonus, you'll have an everlasting battery ?, so that was the cool Pat cool, changer 1c. If you have any questions, please leave them down in the comments, and we'll see you guys later in the meanwhile, you can meet other than Instagram Facebook Twitter and Google+ Joe.
