Case-Mate Tough Case Smoke Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big on box, where we do that small tech in today I am back with another big on boxing for you for the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 altar, and today we're back with the case from case-mate. This is gonna, be the tough smoke series to unbox do a quick review as always I'll, throw up the link in the video description. If you guys want to check it out, know the reason like this one. I don't know how the case is going to be, but I like a smoke color case. That's gonna, give you the kind of the benefits of a clear case, you're, gonna kind of be able to see the back of it, but you're not going to get the fingerprints you're, not going to get yelling effect. Typically, that's my go-to case is that kind of tint that smokey tint to it, but this one's going to ruin your 40 bucks.

I think I got it on sale for a lot cheaper, like 30 bucks, so just to look around for some coupon codes, they're constantly running coupon codes on casemates' website, but the presentation very nicely done. You can see tough smoke and the most important about this is that 10-foot drop protection. So that's what they tell you. That's pretty good drop protection for, hopefully a minimalist or Slant slimmer of case. Then some big boy cases on the market, s20 ultra case may get some branding up top the back skin.

It's a little more details about it. Ten-Foot draw protection, all that good stuff, one-piece, seamless, design, tackle buttons, all that good stuff. So let's go and pop it open and see if it's a hit or miss for your beautiful s20, Austria. I know everybody's looking for a nice case. You're getting this really expensive phone, which is crazy, expensive, do not raw dog.

This phone get a case. You know, I'm saying guys. It's a definitely small investment I know Narmada's, sometimes are not a sleek, even if you have to go really a minimalist case, like a P okay's totally case, something like that. They're just going to give you some back protection, do not raw ROG that that's just a public service announcement for the big on box channel. Alright.

So my first impressions I, like the color I, like the hard shell plastic, definitely actually gonna. Add some bulk to it. Got that semi-transparent look, but it's slippery. Sighs I wish there to give you some more grip to the sides. The sides are very slippery: it's the same, really material as the back, so you got this one-piece design.

Why not throw some grip on the sides to give you some nice grip edge for the actual phone, so I'm worried about this one I pull this out of my pocket. They've got this big brick coming out of my pocket. I lose control because it's slippery, then your ass. How many thousand plus bucks for this thing? So why not throw some grit I can tell you the quality is excellent. Overall, you can see the semi-transparent and the interiors got more of a glossy look to it.

I wish there's a little it's soft enough, but I wish there's a little softer material kind of doesn't feel as premium as it should. For that price point. You got a little of casement branding on the interior and I. Think yeah, that's it! So you can't really tell on the outside there's any branding at all, so overall one-piece design got some nice feel to it again. Only problem I have with it is the lack of grip.

So let's wipe it down, wipe it down, make it look beautiful Shawn for the camera. This ultra, that gray looks beautiful, Shawna doll. Look at that thing! That's gorgeous! Let's pop it into place, let's see if it's a hit or miss guys. So there you go my first impression that gray actually turns it. Actually, the smoke color makes it almost look black, which is not a problem.

You can kind of see the logo popping through. So it's more of a black color than a gray color. The smoke color makes a little more black, but that's not a bad thing again. Material soft to the touch feels like it's. It probably will get some fingerprints, but I can't imagine it's going to be too bad.

Give you guys a look at this one without me. Mess with it beautiful so nicely done. Nice case very nicely done, let's check out the lip put the camera now. This is gonna, be a problem. I can tell you right off the bat look at that lack of camera protection is a no-go.

You could see that camera hump whew, that's tough, that camera hump is almost raised above the actual lip. It's right there look at that as crazy. That's terrible I can't recommend that for that now check out what I just reviewed the sign version. This is the sign rugged armor, that's 15 bucks! Look at that! You can see, or I think it's the rugged armor, but you can see right there. You see how that's raised up.

How about you getting that extra lipids around there on this one? They didn't do that now, you're, getting maybe just a little of raised edges, but that's still really flush. I cannot recommend this case. For that alone. You drop this thing just right, and you're scratching that bad boy up, that's a no-go to me. So I can't really say that this is gonna, be a hit, but we're gonna finish up the review.

Let's check out the lip because everybody likes a fat Eliza and lip protection is really not that Grady. There's some lack of lip protection. You can see really not getting much lip protection at all. I'm, not rocking a screen protector I got the pre-installed one. You can see the screen really even on the top part.

You can expect it on the curb not to get much of the protection, but the top and the bottom you're not getting. Hardly any lip protection so sides again, no grip, cutouts, look clean power button clicking responsive enough, but overall this is gonna, be a big mess hold off on buying this one I got some more reviews coming, but I would put a hard pass on this one right off. The bat I can't even recommend this to anybody. It's the camera alone. This is too expensive of a phone to have a camera exposed like that.
