Carbon ROM made my OnePlus 8 Pro Faster w/ Better Battery Life! By Max Lee

Good morning folks, uh Saturday, here California coast um, you can sort of hear the waves uh good thing is. The fog has really taken over my city here in a Pacifica Daly City, so um, it's just killing the fog, it's killing the smoke anyway. I just want to give you a quick uh update on the OnePlus 8 pro uh right after my review. I just uh installed another ROM been using it for a whole day, and I'm getting so much better battery life, no more chrome freezing, uh everything's like superfast, and I charged it fully last night woke up, and you know it. It seems like the OnePlus 8 pro oxygen oses uh. Basically, it seems to drain the battery a lot when it, even when you're not using the phone uh with this is standard.

AOSP ROM, it's a carbon fiber on I'm sorry, just simply install twerp and the process is a little more complicated because the twerp doesn't delete data. So you have to actually uh flash the uh data erasing image, but otherwise you can just install that and then install android g apps, and you have android 10 carbon roms and there's a bunch of customization. The only thing missing with this one right now is. I can't get the camera to work with the wide angle with the OnePlus camera um, but I should be able to get it working eventually. Google camera works really well.

My photos look so much better, so that's kind of cool awful review, a full tutorial on how to install this, but yeah after using stock oxygen OS for six months and uh. You know I was just not messing with customers for all, but for a while, and then I recently installed this, and I'm like- oh my god, it's so much faster, especially the battery life um. This will actually um run out. You can, I'm actually running at full, 120, hertz and 1440p, and it just the battery life is so much better. So I highly recommend uh if you have an OnePlus, 8 or OnePlus 8 pro, if you're having any problems battery problems uh.

I think that's you know, that's that's the beauty of OnePlus products that you know. I've never actually used oxygen, OS too much, I'm usually on custom ROMs anyways, but this was a perfect experience where I used it for six months on stock, and it was just it was just so slow, uh freezing issues, not slow, but freezing issues, but much slower than custom ROMs and, like I said again, battery problems now. Furthermore, I have perfect battery so really excited. Furthermore, I'm going to go ahead and test this for maybe another few days um, but I'll get that uh I'll get those instructions out soon, anyway, hit the like check out my uh icebox electric skateboard. It's running perfect.

I've got seat belts now, uh, it's completely safe. I never fell on it um I can go really fast uh. This is not a typical like boosted board you slap on and stuff, if you, if you put a boosted board this thing, will not this thing will not make up any of these hills um. This is about like three times fast, three times stronger and faster um than a boost booster board or like a vault, so yeah, it's completely custom, really proud of my little prototype here. Of course, it's not done I'll have a video on that soon, too.
